Does anyone currently use a 3PL with a third party website where the inventory is transferred to an outside warehouse but the inventory transaction is not done until the customer places an order from the website?
We are trying to determine how to process the orders and recognize payment if the order details reside with a 3rd party and the reservation and orders are processed outside IFS but need to be recognized inside IFS.

This can be handled through a Custom Integration and Web APIs. We are currently in the final stage of developing this kind of integration for one of our IFS customer with Shopify web platform.
