What is this function? It´s new for us in UPD7 testing.

 

 

 

This is causing errors for us in Return Administration and other places.

Hi There,

 

The customer tax usage type field is used by external tax systems such as Avalara to categorize customers into tax categories and to set up specific tax rules.

 

Yet I’m afraid, I’m not quite sure how to map error in the attached image with customer tax usage types without further looking into the issue technically. So I believe it is best to direct a ticket to IFS with the above issue.

@MattiasLindahl, I am assuming you have already contacted IFS Support with this error. It is true that the field is used for the external sales tax integration to Avalara. But this is not a mandatory fields so  you should never be forced to use it in order to create/save a sales quotation, customer order or an RMA.
