The environment comes up and stays up for a brief amount of time (anything from 5 mins to 45 mins) before it fails with the error above when trying to connect.Nothing obvious in server monitoring tools. Hi all, At one of our customers we have a "sizing" / "scaling" issue when printing (.zpl) Labels on Zebra printers. In the Label Designer or a ZPL Viewer, the Label Size seems to be correct. However when we print the actual labels, the information which is printed on the Labels is much smaller. Please look at the attached pictures. Although the picture is not perfect, the information on the actual printed label in real life is nearly not readable ( to small). And as you can see, the information printed is aligned to the upper left corner. While in the designer /or ZPL viewer, the information is nicely centered over the entire label. Does anyone of you have an idea what can be the cause of this? Can this be a printer setting, or something in the layout design? (Of course the actual label size is also 8 x 4 cm, as the label was designed. So we are not using the wrong label size.) Thanks and best regards!
I've been trying to understand the api calls via OData. For savety measures I've renamed our server instance to xyz. So far I found out the following: I logged on to an IFS10 environment via https://xyz:48080. I selected Entrance to Aurena for that. I opened a new tab in Google Chrome and copied in the following https://xyz:48080/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/DocumentClassesHandling.svc/DocClassSet?$select=DocClass,DocName&$format=json This returns a list of available Doc Classes and their description (json formatted). Very nice. Using the same URL and pasting it in FireFox (with no IFS10 running) the server returned the following: https://xyz:48080/openid-connect-provider/login?rf=p8dCXSBiIY The logon screen is shown. Seems logical to me. No idea what the parameter rf means, but I logged in (with a full access user id). Recently we have uninstall Internet Explorer 11 from our client machines and started using Microsoft Edge as the default browser. then we are getting this error when try to open IFS EE using the Edge browser.as a workaround we are currently using Google Chrome with IFS Add-on.but It would be really helpful if anyone share a solution or any workaround to use the new Edge Browser? is there any add-on for Microsoft Edge as well?Thank you!
After we upgraded to IFS10 we are struggling with slowness in our Oracle DB. We haven’t been able to pinpoint the cause of our problems. But very often (5-10 times each week), we see that the CPU goes to 100% and doesn’t let go. Every user in our company are then struggling with slowness when this happens. As an example, saving a time registration can take 3-4 minutes.Today, a restart of the DB server was necessary to get it back to normal. We have used the query below to find CPU consuming operations, and have also checked background jobs and DMBS jobs. Hi all, We are running PL/SQL Developer on our Windows clients with Oracle Instant Client. When doing so, the packages cannot handle Nordic characters (æøå). I think I have identified the problem as the NLS_LANG value in registry. I have an old installation that is working. It looks like this: On Instant Client theses entries does not exists (default is AMERICAN_AMERICAN.US7ASCII). Hi We are using IFS Apps 8, and when using IE browser IFS opens seamlessly, however with browsers like Chrome it will drop the application manifest file Ifs.Fnd.Explorer to the bottom of the screen and the user then needs to click on this to open IFS. Is there a way to use newer browsers such as Chrome but ensure the manifest file isn’t downloaded but users are taken straight to the login page? Any guidance would be appreciated Regards Shaun
When we export information from an IFS window (ie. Customer Order Lines) the information is exported in to Excel with a format of General. Unfortunately, it drops the zeros off the front of our customer numbers. Right now our work around is it export the information to a txt file, then use Excel’s “Get Data” functionality to convert the cells from General to Text format.Is there a set-up available that will automatically do this when we export from IFS?
Hi, Over the last few months we have been having performance issues in Apps 9 that have been very difficult to narrow down to a specific cause. We have plenty of overhead in both the database and middleware servers so I don’t think it is a hardware or database performance issue. What I have been able to determine is that when we get really severe performance issues that we have a large job queue (default - 0) of waiting jobs usually caused by a custom job taking longer than normal to process - say 20mins during which time 6 x 10 Invoice posting jobs enter the queue and wait to be processed, this then prevents other jobs from running and they get added to the queue compounding the problem (sometimes upto 900 in waiting state). During this time the system becomes unusable from logging on to simple queries. So I guess I’m asking: Has anyone else experienced these type of issue? We have 10 batch queues all set to processes:1 and the majority of jobs are all in 0 - default. Should we have
Hi, I am building some lobbies in IFS 10 and I would like to know if it is possible to use a predefined list of values to use in the lobby filter parameter. For example, if you want to filter by site, you would get a LOV on the parameter filter with the available sites in the system. Another interesting filter at the lobby level would be to have the calendar option available, whenever you wish to filter a parameter by date. Does anyone know how to do this or if it’s possible?

Hello, At the moment, if we have a PO with multiple lines, when Finance receive an invoice, they manually enter the invoice against the PO number. IFS will then auto-match that invoice against any receipted line on the PO and if there are 10 lines, there is a 1 in 10 chance of it matching the right line. When it matches the wrong line, Finance have to manually correct it, by deleting the wrong match and finding the correct one. It works well when there is only 1 line, but we have started to look at consolidating reqs into fewer orders, which will create more work, not less for finance. Ideally, we would want to enter the relevant PO Line # when the invoice is entered, so IFS knows what to match it to, but there is currently no option for that. Does anyone have any experience of this and a solution? We are using IFS Apps 8. Regards Shaun

Has anyone done that before or know how to make that connection?
