HiInstallation of IFS 9 on windows 2016 worked pretty well except F1 Help does not work. Probably some security on servers or networks. Has anyone encountered it before? Ideas are appreciated./Håkan
Hello, On the C-drive of all of our employees a lot of backup files get created. Sometimes a few times a day. This causes a lot of problems because sometimes there are some many backup files that the C-drive is completely full. The location of the local backup is: C:\app\product\11.2.0\client_1\inventory\backup\ Does anyone else recognize this problem? Please help. Best regards, Bram Marissink
We are implementing IFS Apps 10 - Aurena UPD 11 and we need to know the output from below 3 listed reports. However The Report 1 has the Input parameter as "Task Index Seq" which is not available in any of the screens OR through LOVs in input parameter and the Reports 2 & 3 are fetching blank outputs and doesn't provide feasibility to enter input parameters.Could you please provide the overview for below three reports in IFS Maintenance ;1- Work Task Index2 - Work Order Index3 - Work Order Operations IndexAppreciate the feedback if anyone has come across these reports.
Hi All,I have loaded a dataset from FSM to PSO through schedule manager the load process was completed in FSM but when i see in pso status of the dataset was deleting.could anyone please help me why the status was appearing deleting instead of running?and dataset contains only 5k records no error in events related to the dataset.
Hi how can I view who canceled an invoice? Is there a way to audit who cancels manual invoices? If you look at the attachment, there isnt a voucher that was created so I cant search by voucher details. Any help would be appreciated!
We have a situation where a person has rejected a step on an approval router and has since left the company. The is the last step on the router but I can not get it to progess to 100% approval due to this. Does anyone know how to correct this ?

Hi, There are two options to search “Responsible Person“ in Document Revision. One seems to be only enabled Caps lock while other is not. Is there any specific reason for this or can it be a bug. We have a support case reported some questionable scenarios related to these options & expecting to get verify the background.Thanks

Dear Community. I attempt to add a new Business Object to Support Organisation Basic Data \ Business Object Tab, of type Non Conformance Report, but when i attempt to do this i get an error, despite it being in the list. I do note that it is not defined in the help file. I am wondering if this is a bug, or some functionality that is missing? Apps 9 Up15.
One of the customers has faced an issue related to the customer name search in the customer order window.When creating a new sales quotation then they can just type the customer name in the customer field and they get a list of customers. When they do the same in the customer order window they have to search for the customer ID, they have not been able to type only the name.As a workaround, I know that it's possible to search for the customer name if pressing the magnifying galas, but this is an extra step and when I checked this issue in our core environment I couldn’t observe such an issue. It's strange that the customer order window is not behaving the same as the sales quotation window where they can load the customer by their name.I found a bug fix but it not exactly related to this issue. Any ideas on what might be the problem/fix here? Product Version: UPD15 Aurena (Attached screen shot is my core example. When we add new record we can search the customer by their name as well)
Does anyone know if it is possible in Cloud to setup emailing invoices (confirmations, pro-formas etc) to multiple contacts, please? I appreciate there are a number of other handles to turn but basically in Apps9 I know if I set up an entry like this in the Comm Method tab of the Customer with abc@company.com; xyz@company.com; 123@company.com in the Value field, customer invoices will be emailed to all three addresses. So far, all I can glean is you enter your email address here... … and then pick it up from the List on the Payment/AR Customer Contact section. But this is only a single contact - not multipleAny thoughts/ideas/suggestions/know-how would be greatly appreciated! Thanks LInda

Hi Experts,In FSM mobile there is this paper click icon where we can upload attachments saved in the mobile storage.When I launch this, it will direct to the mobile storage BUT non of the files are visible here. I would expect this should allow us to attach different file type such as pdf, txt, docx, jpg etc but none of them are shown though the files are actually exists in the storage.What is causing this issue, I have given Storage permissing also no Blacklist for these file types? But files exists in the folder. I check all other folders as well but nothing is shown.Thanks,Kasun
Goal: move a method listed in the Default queue to a newly created batch queue. Create a new batch queue for example “Customer Order”I want to move the method “CUSTOMER_ORDER_INV_HEAD_API.PRINT_INVOICES” listed in the Default batch queue to the batch queue “Customer Order”.I cannot find the above method when I try to move/assign the method to the new batch queue.Please let me know if I am missing a step or workaround to complete this task.
I watched the you tube video and studied what I think is the extend of the information in our help documentation. In the old days, we needed to have a certificate registered for the person who is doing the signing. I don’t see references to needing a certificate in the help documents but I do see a Signing Certificates section within the Solution Manager. Is that what I’m thinking about?How does all the work? Do I need to have a person who is signing a document have to be registered as having a signing certificate. How about for Internal vs External Users?Is there a place when I can see the whole story behind the use and setup of this functionality? Patrick
I have a screen which I am hiding a Longtext field via client script in the refresh script with the following: setControlRequired("c_collected_sample", "reason", false); setControlVisibility("c_collected_sample", "reason", false); Then I have a list field which has a value changed script attached to it which makes the field required and visible when a certain value is selected via: setControlVisibility("c_collected_sample", "reason", true); setControlRequired("c_collected_sample", "reason", true);However, what is happeneing is that the field is being shown but has the word Required in bold (rather than grey) and it cannot be overwritten - any text added is appended.What is also strange is that if I turn the iPhone to landscape and then back to portrait the field goes grey as expected. I have other screens where the above works as expected so can’t see why this is happeneing.The device is an iPhone (iOS 15) and FSM 6 update 17
We have received a suggestion to be able to show on screen our engineers precise locations live. We are not sure where to start. Can anyone point me in the correct area of IFS I should be looking? Perhaps some basic overview of what is possible would be handy.
