Can anybody please advise what happens to the migrated standard default permission sets i.e. FND_ENDUSER, FND_DEVELOPER, DOCUMENT_ATTACHMENT_VIEWER etc., Do they get updated or replaced? Also, what would happen to the standard default permission sets if a customer had made amendments to one of them, instead of copying and amending? Would there changes be overwritten/removed. The reason for asking is because some REVOKES have ‘disappeared’ after the deployment, when, they were there just before going through the deployment step. Thank you for your help. John
Dear experts,I would like to ask if somebody tried PDF conversion in IFS Business Reporter. I’ve enabled this possibility but result is not perfect. Report has 8 columns and PDF is created that first 5 columns are on page 1-9 and last 3 columns are on page 10-18 (you can see attached screenshot).Is there any settings/possibility to merge all columns to fit one page? Community,i have a shop order, lot size 3, parent part is serial controlled. there are 1 component line in this order, with assembly qty 1. it is also serial controlled.now I register 3 serial no into this shop order, they are S1, S2, S3, mean time i reserve the qty 3 component serial to the material line, they are L1, L2, L3. complete the shop order and receive all qty 3 parent part into stock.question here, if I do in the way described above, will IFS will have L1 installed onto S1, S2 or S3? I would like to have L1 installed onto S1, L2 onto S2, L3 onto S3, how to make this happen? Thank you.

Hi!I’m currently administrating new permission sets that my colleague and I have set up in our IFS 10 test environment. We are handling all the issues that arise while testing the issues, but are stumped by the error message you see at the lower right corner. The user is trying to access the window “Visual Shop Order Materials Planning”, but only get the error message. I have not been able to identify Application Visualizer among the pages in Aurena, so is it even there? What do I need to do to resolve this issue?
We have received a new series of ID cards for programming and they have a brand new series of numbers. How do I change the setup so that it does not use any initial character and only reads the last 8 numbers on the ID card?
Can anyone please explain what system process is changing the Required Date on Material Lines on shop orders? Some process is resetting the dates to the Shop Order Header Start Date. We have a business requirement that when a user changes this date it needs to be preserved.
I’m using the following syntax in a saved search to filter down a list of values based on the value of a custom fieldCF$_PROJ_ID = :i_hWndFrame.frmRequisitionDetail_Cust.CustomField[1] However, this breaks when there are multiple custom fields and the user doesn’t have that custom field in the [1] position. Is there a way to reference the custom field by name and not the order?

He sometimes has the problem, that employees are working on a SO, but there is no components availability, so they stop working on the part and start working another SO. Question: is this a possible use case to use the function “park Shop Order”? Hi, We have 9 sites running in one database on IFS 10 upd 14.The jobs to transfer transactions are running in one queue with only one process. On some days these transfer jobs takes very long time to finish, around 4-5 hours for one of the larger sites.Is it safe to run this queue with 2 processes? This would mean that same job with function Mpccom_Accounting_API.Transfer_To_Finance would be run at the same time for different sites?
