I am trying to loop through serials for report picking of parts. My first Item is the Pick List No (Each Pick List in our case will only have 1 shipment), Shipment is auto fill and it asks for the serial. I enter the serial but I want the loop to keep asking me for serials till I exit the loop. Is this not possible?
Has anyone ever seen this error message before when trying to initialize an Aurena Native App? The app was working fine, and we were doing some work with Custom Fields and went to re-initialize to test the changes and I can no longer initialize. Any suggestions?
Does anyone have documentation in regards to the IFS Freight Interface for Cloud 21 R1/R2? Does it still exist? Is it still ODBC connections or can we use the Web Apps using REST Api calls?

We are using the Freight Interface in Apps 10 with IFS/Shipment. What we’ve noticed is that the Freight Info on the Customer Order does not match the Freight Info on the Shipment. When the Shipment is created the Freight Info is defaulting on what is on the customer. Has anyone figured out a way to keep these in sync?
Has anyone ever changed the Max String Size parameter in Oracle to Extended? I know the standard VARCHAR2 limitation in Oracle is 4000 bytes. I have had a few customers ask for Custom Fields and standard fields to be larger such as the external notes on the service quotation and Long Description for PM Work Orders. Apparently in Oracle, if you change this parameter to extended it gives you a new max size of 32767 bytes. I was curious if anyone in the community has done this successfully? If so, was there any special items you might want to mention? So typically whenever I have implemented mWo, I always get the question about creating No Part Purchase Requisition Lines from Mobile. And I always say it is not supported. What I have always implemented is creating generic Purchase Parts (NONSTOCK and SERVICES) and I create a custom field on the Work Order Purchase Requisition Line Called “mWo Part Description” which would allow the tech to properly describe what it is they actually want so they backoffice would know what to truly buy. In the Apps10, what I have noticed is that the Part Requisition Line for a Work Task is now a completely different LU then the one in mobile. So I have done the following: Created a Persistent Text Custom Field in the WorkOrderRequisLine LU Added it to the entity WorkOrderRequisLine Published it. Then went over to Aurena and added it to the new requisition step in the Aurena Page Designer Then Reinitialized in mWo Service 10 and I see my new custom field. I have enabled the Object Connection Document Attachment in IEE and I’d like to use that in Aurena. How do I add the “Attachment” section to an Aurena Page. Specifically for use in a Aurena Native Mobile App (MWO Service 10).
I have created a remote warehouse and on my remote warehouse I’ve setup the address to be that of one of my supplier’s address ID. I created my supplier assortment with parts and refill parameters. I run the refill parts and I get my expected Purchase Requisition. I convert that to a PO and I see the Internal Destination ID and my Register Arrival has the default location of my Remote Warehouse, but on my PO I don’t have the delivery address of my remote warehouse. Am I missing something here? What’s the point of setting the address on the remote warehouse and it cannot automatically show on my delivery address for my replenishment order?
Can anyone tell me how to Delete a Time Report that has not been authorized on a Work Task in Apps 10 UPD 4 and up? Seems like the simplest thing and I’ve tried on Work Task Time Reports, and The Report In screen and I don’t see the option to delete.
Anybody had this error on the sync monitor in mWorkOrder? DB_SWITCH_SESSION:Could not switch database proxy session to user [username] Apparently the user’s account got locked prior to sending new transactions to IFS. Since then we have unlocked the account but we are still getting this error on the user’s sync monitor. Looking at the Sync Traces, data from IFS to mobile are working, but we have over 200+ queued transactions waiting to be sent from Mobile to IFS. We have run the query to check if they have the IFSSYS proxy user setup and they do. Any ideas for this error in mobile? Idle time on the Oracle profile is unlimited too.
In Apps 10, I have noticed that when you use mWo and Aurena to report time on a Work Assignment, IFS creates a Work Task Clocking, but if I use my work in IEE I get a Work Task Time Report. Is there a way to turn off the clocking functionality and only use Work Task Time Reports?
We are trying to setup the scenario where the customer reference in the Customer Order needs to be different as the Customer Reference on the Customer Invoice. We have 2 addresses setup on our Customer. One is the default delivery address and the other is the default document address. We have a default e-mail comm method per address. When the order is created the customer reference is correct and the delivery address and document addresses are correct too. Problem is when we create the invoice, the Invoice has the correct document address but the incorrect customer reference. Is the only way to correct the default customer reference on the invoice is to use a custom event?
In Apps 10, how do I modify a Work Task Transaction Date? In Apps 9 we had the ability to Modify Date Applied from the Maintenance Postings Analysis. In Apps 10, I don’t see that option from the Work Task Posting Analysis

How do I correctly create a Service Quotation for Warranty Work? I have Customer A in IFS and I have a Service Contract For Customer A with a Free of Charge Contract Service Line. The Service Line has their equipment objects in scope and those objects have a Supplier Warranty. Since this will be Supplier Warranty WO, IFS will bill my Supplier as the customer on my WO. Should my service quotation be created to my Suppler/Customer or to my end Customer A? How do I get this logic to be represented correctly in IFS? In the Service Quotation I see a spot for Service Quotation but I am unable to enter data in that field on the Work Order Tab of the Quotation. The only way I seen how to populate this field was preparing the WO and then creating a Service Contract connected to it.
When a Distribution order is created and released, the Customer Order is created in SITE A and the Customer Order Line default’s to a supply code of Inventory Order. Even though the Sales Part in Site A has a default supply option of Shop Order. Is there a way for a CO Line connected to a DO to have a supply code of Shop Order without using a some sort of Custom Event?
Anyone ever get a 404 error when attempting to use one of the IFS MWO Aurena Native clients? I launch the app, enter URL and System ID and click connect. I get the apps 10 login page and enter my username and password. After I click login there it goes back to mwo and says an error has occurred. 404: That’s it. System log on touch app shows my click sign-in so I am a bit stumped here.
I have configured WaDaCo in Cloud to use GS1 barcode with AI codes 91 (part number), 20 (revision), 10 (Lot Number) and 30 (Quantity). All Labels from the suppliers come in this format. When I scan the GS1 barcode in IFS Scan It, it bombs out essentially taking everything in the scan (minus the 91 AI code) as the part number. Error with Scanning Wedge If I enter a Scadit License Key in the application parameters and scan using the camera to invoke the Scandit SDK, it works without issue. Why is this only working for the camera and not the actual “gun” scanning? All “gun” scanner support GS1-128. No Error with Scandit SDK camera
Question, if you’re receiving customer schedule forecasts from Customers but they are for parts that are not Master Scheduled, where does that schedule go after releasing the schedule. I see the Demand Line in Inventory Part Availability Planning with a status Planned. But how do I clear that? MRP is planning for this. Typically when I import that into Master Scheduling, I no longer see the demand type of Customer Schedule Forecast, but for this case where I am not MS’ing this part, how do I clear that?
When a Calendar Generated PM Action generates a Work Order, how does IFS calculate the latest finish date? What is the IFS logic?
Example. I have two shipment lines attached to a Shipment. Line 1 with qty 10 has 8 in my first handling unit and the reminaing 2 in my second handling unit. Line 2 of my shipment is not in a handling unit. Is there a way to complete this Shipment?
I have a question. Do you know if the UI designer is available now in mWo Service 10? In the past I could create a custom field in apps 9, add it to the mobile entity and publish it to mWo. Then I could add the field to its respective screen in mwo if I had access to the correct activity. I don't see how to do that in the new mWo Service 10.
I’ve set up a work task code rule for external customers with a WIP Code and reversal condition of CO Line Invoiced. When I transfer the Work Take Sales line to a CO and invoice, the cost is not reversing unless I do the Manually Release WIP and RMB and select Check and Update Accounting.
When we create a material requisition from mobile, the back office see’s the planned line. The back office wants to Manually Reserve and move the reservation with a transport task. IFS will do this. The created transport task can be seen from mobile under “Receive Reserved Parts”. When we try to receive and issue we get the following error:
