Warehouse management - create count report

Hello,There are several report parameters when creating a new count report in IFS. Maybe I missed one, but is there a way to create a inventory count report for ONLY inventory parts with qty on hand > 0? In other words, only parts that currently have inventory quantity on hand. Right now, the report gives you all parts, even ones with 0 qty. Thanks,Mark

Is it possible to cancel a already posted customer invoice? I know you can cancel a preliminary invoice, but are there any options to reverse a posted invoice?Thanks, Mark

Transactions waiting to be transferred from maintenance

We are trying to close a GL accounting period, but we have the error shown below. The problem is I cannot find in IFS where you can see what maintenance transactions are in “error”. We are on APPS10. I checked all kinds of “maintenance” screens but to no avail.Please help!

Error adding lot/batch

Hello,We are trying to add the following lot/batch to a shop order and get the following error message: We are not sure what the message means. It’s not uncommon that transactions exist for a lot. Any ideas on what to check would be great!Thanks!

Supplier invoice - final invoice posting

We have a requirement such that when a three way match with receipt, PO & supplier invoice is all within the defined tolerance (% or amount), we want the system to allow final posting without an authorizer. We have authorizer rules already defined, but there are many cases where no authorization is required because it was already done up front (PR line authorization or PO line authorization) AND the 3 matching is within tolerance.Is there any configuration or way around this in IFS?Thanks,Mark

Automatic putaway on shop order close

We would like to use the “perform putaway” function defined on the work center: The goal is to have the system perform a putaway via transport tasks into a non-picking location after a shop order is closed. From there, the material handlers will then move the product to a desired location. This would need to happen for parts that may or may not be pegged to a customer order. Other than just checking the checkbox, I am sure there is more configuration needed. Can someone provide some guidance on how to do this? Thanks!

Cannot view External Supplier invoices

Hello,We are using our 3rd party integrator (Pagero) to load supplier invoice in our AP automation. The automation send a .pdf file copy of the paper invoice. The problem is when the invoice is sent and it processes to a manual supplier invoice record, it does not save correctly in our EDM configuration. We continue to get the following error:I have also tried entering the following entries in the path and none of them work:\\ifs-app01\D:\Docs \\ifs-app01\D$\Docs \\ifs-app01\D\Docs The “D” item is the drive designation on the server where we store the documents. Does anyone have ideas on the cause of this error? Thanks? Mark

Default Search dialog box in Aurena

Hello Community,Is there a way in IFS Aurena to automatically have the “Search” box show every time you get into an IFS screen? For example, on the supplier screen, I always need to click on the magnifying glass to see the search criteria when entering into a screen. By default, the screen does not show the search Search box opened: Can this be open every time I get into the screen?Thanks, Mark

PDF_REPORT_CREATED event action - APPS10

Hello,We are on APPS10 and would like to get a clarification from the community who is in the know. We are trying to configure and use the EMAIL event action to send out notifications for various outward facing documents. i.e. (Customer order conf, PO order conf, Payment advices, customer invoices, etc). We have been having issues setting up this up in IFS. Our 3rd party consulting group claims IFS has removed this functionality in APPs10 or perhaps it’s broken and needs to be patched in another version? They suggested using Report Rules instead. My question is does anyone know if this is true? If so, is IFS aware and will fix the problem? Thanks!!

Create purchase order only through requisition

Hello Everyone,Today we currently have users create purchase requisitions, authorize through PO req rules, then create a purchase order from the requisition. We also have users directly create PO’s thus bypassing the authorization rules, not following the procedure. Therefore, is there a way in IFS to not allow PO creation other than by the Purchase Req. process? Thanks!Mark

SFTP knownhost file set-up error

We are trying to create the knowhosts file required for SFTP communications between IFS and Pagero (our EDI vendor). From IFS documentation, here is what we are supposed to do: SFTP requires a "known hosts" file. The known hosts file contains the public key of the SSH2 server,and the purpose of this file is to ensure that a server cannot maliciously impersonate another server(e.g. man-in-the-middle attacks).The known hosts file may already have been created by an SSH2 client and may be reused by an SFTPreader. Restrict Purchase Groups

Hello All,Is there a way to restrict what Purchase groups can be used for NOT PART lines vs PART lines? For PART order lines, we only want to allow a few groups as well as the NO PART order lines. Is there a way to accomplish this with base configuration in IFS?We are on Apps10.

IE11 desktop application retires

Hello,We are currently on IFS APPs 9 UPD16 and recently received a message from Microsoft (see below) on IE11 desktop application is retiring on June 15, 2022. Does anyone know if this affects using IE to run IFS Apps 9 Applications? Is there something we need to prepare for? Manual Supplier invoice posting proposal

We are trying to streamline our entries of supplier invoices, is there a way using standard configuration to populate the account, department, business segment & dollar amounts on a posting proposal? This would be only for non-PO invoices. So for example, lets say we have a supplier XYZ and for all non-PO invoices we always want to charge account = 7500, Dept = 451, Bus Segment = 1 & the dollar amounts = the gross amount on the invoice. Manual Invoice: Posting proposal: So the posting information would automatically populate the information above when the posting proposal and posting information is created. Order report excel plug in error

Hello,I am trying to use the excel plug in to extract a IFS report that normally is created as .pdf. I uploaded a new .rpl file to the cust_age_analysis_rep report file layout. Deactivate Purchase Groups

Hello,Is there a way in IFS you can inactive Purchase Groups? When trying to delete one in the basic data, the system will not allow me: I get an error message that it’s already referenced to purchase order change lines. Funny part is when I search for those lines, I cannot find it. Suggestions greatly appreciated!

Customer Order Reservations

Hello,With all the supply chain disruptions, we have a large backlog of customer orders. This situation has our customer care team in need to understand how IFS goes through the logic of reserving customer orders. There seems to be circumstances were a specific order for a specific part is not reserving when it should because of the supply is now available. I figure it has to do much with the “many” dates on a customer order line. Anyway, does anyone have a clear document or logical decision tree explaining how customer order reservations work in IFS. EDI invoice documents

Hello All,We have an EDI connection with several customers for sending customer invoices. (EDI document 810). The message set-up for EDI is on the customer record and it appears the configuration would apply to all types of invoices. (Customer Invoice, manual customer invoice, Instant invoices). The problem we encounter is whenever a instant invoice or manual customer invoice is created, the system attempts to send the document vis EDI. We don’t want to send those kind of invoices as they do not have the correct file format needed to exchange with our customers via the integration that was buildt. So the question - is there a way in IFS to only send normal customer invoices via EDI only and NOT instant invoices or manual invoices for the EDI customer?

Purchase Requisition authorization rules

Hello, Is it possible to set-up purchase requisition rules based on if the requisition $$ are based on part requisition lines vs. No part requisition lines? For example:Non-Inventory:Greater than $5k goes to Approver AGreater than $25k goes to Approver B Inventory:Greater than $50k goes to Approver AGreater than $100k goes to Approver B It appears in the configuration you don’t have the option?

Base address for HTML help - online documentation

Does anyone have issues with launching IFS Help and not using Internet Explorer? It seems that if a user has their default browser set to Firefox or Google Chrome, when launching the “Page Help” link from any IFS screen, all you see is this: But if you use IE, the help information will appear. Is this a bug? Thanks!

Complete Where Used data extract

We are trying to export into Excel a report that shows the multiple level of parts that are in the structures on the “Complete Where Used” screen, see example below: The levels can be complex as one part number can have several layer deep. GL reversing entries

Hello to all the Accounting members, we are tying to configure IFS to automatically reverse a GL voucher entry after the first of the month. This is the classic accrual type of GL entry whereby we make a GL voucher transaction entry in one month and auto reverse it the next month after the actual charges post to the balance sheet. When creating a manual voucher entry, we do not see anywhere we can set a reversal. We are on IFS APPS9, UPD16. How can this be achieved in IFS? There has to be a way as this is Accounting 101.Thanks!Mark

EDI 820 Payment Order

Does IFS Apps 9 have an XML schema for an EDI 820 Payment Order? We are in the process of starting a project to integrate with our bank and would like to send them this document. I have searched several places in IFS and cannot find any information on the subject.
