Hi, Does Aurena support the yellow notes, or are these only available in Enterprise Explorer? Thanks in advance, Sindre Tellevik
Hi, We have an issue that the HttpServer1.log files grow rather quickly and doesn’t rotate/stop until they consume the whole disk. Where can we set the max size for HttpServer1 logs? Their path is: <IFS_HOME>\wls_domain\<instance>\servers\HttpServer1\logs\HttpServer1-yyyymmddHHMMss.log
Hi, So I struggled for several hours trying to reinstall IFS_HOME on a particular server. When trying to install the new IFS_HOME I got the error: ...\build_home\server\install_fndmws.xml:214: Failed to install Middelware Server! Error is: Exception when installing IFS Middleware Home: ...\ifs_home\tmp\as\resources6277372277239962574\install_fndmws.xml:480: Failed to install Middleware Server. Error is: Which is really helpful *sarcasm* The issue turned out to be a rogue inventory.lock file in C:\Program Files\Oracle\Inventory\locks. What really happened was that the installer was waiting for “the other process” to “finish their business” with Oracle Inventory. When in reality, this lock file was left behind due to the way I uninstalled the previous version of middleware server. So if you’re looking to reinstall IFS_HOME, make sure you check this if the installer fails with the empty error message.
Hi, When will it be possible to override/overtake fragments? This is a serious hurdle when it comes to porting over customizations from EE to Aurena. Kind regards, Sindre Tellevik
Hi, I would like to know if Enterprise Explorer would handle rolling updates in this scenario: Cluster of 2+ nodes NGINX load balancer The process for applying updates would be: Take down 1 node Does Enterprise Explorer switch over to a new node seamlessly without crashing and kicking the user out? Apply the client delivery to that node Bring the node back up Repeat the process for all nodes… Profit? Is this scenario possible without EE crashing? NOTE: We only deliver client updates using the installer. Database changes are done manually to prevent downtime. This also cuts the delivery process to a couple of minutes, instead of hours.
Hi, Some time in the short future, I’m extracting the presentation object scanner to a standalone headless application, which can be run directly after deployment. This way, no developer has to create these beforehand, nor do they have to remember to log in after the deployment has completed. I was wondering if there is general interest in such a tool, and if I should bother sharing it at all?
