Sales Charge auto-assigned in Customer Orders based on Delivery Terms

The customer has the below query.Can we auto-assign a Sales Charge in a Customer Order based on the customer and their delivery terms? In the Customer > Order > Charges window, we can set Charges to be automatically assigned to the order. How about if we only want Customer Orders with PICKUP Delivery terms to have this Sales Charge?

Peg parts moving on a transport task

Below is a question raised by a customer. Is there a setting in Manual pegging that we do not have access to that would allow IFS Users to peg parts moving on a transport task? Right now the only option is to peg to a customer order.

Can a person can be added in all PR Authorizations to acknowledge in the last step?

Hi All,The PR Authorizations rule has been set as follows. Is possible to add an acknowledger who will be able to acknowledge all the PRs regardless of the PR value in the last step with the above setting? Part inspection check box and impacted PO's when checked/unchecked

Below is a question raised by a customer.If there is any way that when the inspection checkbox is removed from a part that this applies to all outstanding PO’s that were created when the check box was active?Also can this be done in reverse whereby when the inspection checkbox is selected that it shows on PO’s for that po that have already been created?

Below is a query raised by a customer.“We create a transport task and we're sending this from one facility to another facility. When we put this into transit, is there any option that we would be able to peg this part to the customer order/shop order/work task that it is being moved to that site? “

How is the Remain Credit field calculated in Customer 360?

Below is a question raised by a customerI have tried various scenarios; I have tried rerunning the calculation of the Customer Credit analysis and still have not figured out the details.I was trying outstanding orders, plus order invoices, less returns, less credit limit. There are two columns on the screen, and I tried tying out to the Outstanding Orders Screen and the amount was in the left column, when I looked at returns and order invoice, the right column had to be used to tie out to those screens. With all of that said, I could not tie out the Remain amount. Thanks for your help with this question for our Credit Manager.

Ability to invoice based on the 'Actual Ship Date'.

Hi, we have a requirement from our Business to utilise the 'Actual Ship Date' as the price effective date on the invoice. From reviewing our options, we appear to have 31. Order Date2. System Date3. Delivery DateWe thought delivery date would work as per requirement above, however on testing this option it uses the 'Wanted Delivery Date' as the date for pricing and not the 'Actual Ship Date'.Can you advise if there is an ability to invoice based on the 'Actual Ship Date'. Due to the soaring prices on the supply chain, it is critical for our Business that we can implement this pricing basis.Please advise.

Unmatched Rental PO receipts (Rental GRNI)

This is one for a Finance or Rental process expert.When there is a receipt of PO rental line, it creates an accrual booking. Posting Type M218.This PO receipt booking can be matched to a supplier invoice.The Rental line PO receipt is therefore similar to inventory / non inventory part "Received not Invoiced" however it does not appear on the standard "Received not invoiced report". Where can we see list of the unmatched Rental PO receipts (Rental GRNI)?

Delivery Route for every two weeks for Customer Orders

I’m creating this post on behalf of a customer which has the following query. Is there a way to set up a Delivery Route for every two weeks for Customer Orders? If we have a Customer that has a Wednesday 4/13 delivery for tomorrow then skips next week with the next delivery on 4/27. I have tried the Number of Days Before Route Day but that would not allow my 4/13 date.Would we have to set up a Calendar specific for these Customers?

Count authorization windows

Below is a business scenario of a customer. “Until recently, only their distribution has been using the counts screen, and so there's a limit set on the site level which meets distributions requirements. They don't want the limit to be increased.Recently they added the engineers stocks. The issue they are having is a lot of Engineering parts are more than the site limit. So the majority engineering counts are being rejected automatically.Only team leaders and managers have access to go in and manually authorize the counts.They look to find out is if there's any other screens where they can use for authorization and where they can have a higher limit set for the engineer specifically, so that doesn't affect the distribution side.”

Avoid changing Promised date when other date fields are changed

Is any way that allows system to not to change the Promised date, when fields like Planned Arrival/Receipt/Delivery, Wanted Delivery Date is changed?Currently, when you change Planned Arrival/Receipt/Delivery, Wanted Delivery Date, the Promised get changed too.

Can a purchased material be excluded for planning until it is physically received ?

We are having difficulties facilitating the following scenario in IFS, if you could please provide guidance if we are missing a setting or functionality, as this is a fairly standard industry wide process. Scenario : We purchase Raw Materials from Overseas. We pay for and assume ownership of the parts on dispatch of shipment from the Supplier (sometimes these shipments can take 4-8 weeks). In IFS, these parts should be considered part of our Inventory from a Financial perspective, however they are not available for Planning as this have not yet physically been received on site. Currently IFS, the parts are appearing in Inventory both Financially and from a Planning perspective, they should not be appearing available for Planning while they are in transit but only when they are physically received onsite. This behavior is causing us significant issues in our MRP planning as these parts are appearing as though they are available on site and can be consumed ever though they are still in t

Can the system be set-up for some users to be able to log into IFS on more than one device at a time? We are looking to be able to log onto multiple devices with 1 user account. For example, user logs onto a PC, then a portable tablet to move around a warehouse.

UK/US language settings within IFS Reports

Automatic reservation of handling units

Hi all,Customer’s requirement is to automatically reserve from the handling unit with the highest quantity.As and example, customer has two handling units with quantity 500 and 18 each. When reserving for a order with 100 units, customer wants to reserve the full quantity from the handling unit with the quantity of 500.With the current functionality, it reserves 18 and 82 from both handling units to reserve 100 units.Note: Customer has ticked ‘Largest Quantity on Handling Unit’ in the Site>Inventory>Automatic Reservation but it does not fulfill the customer’s requirement. Is there any setup which we can set to have the above functionality?

Viewing History Log records of all users without granting FND_ADMIN permission

Please check one of the requirements of the customer below. Some staff need to see insert and update history to Customer PO No field in Customer Order screen. This is grabbed from the HISTORY_LOG and HISTORY_LOG_ATTRIBUTE tables. Users can only see what they have entered, but not what others have entered.Need to know how to have report show what everyone has entered without giving FND_ADMIN permission (full admin access). Is there any way to do it?

How to reduce putaway?

Check the below requirement of the customer The putaway and handling units were not efficiently developed and as a consequence there is a delay to putaway. Customer accepted that this would take up to 15 seconds a pallet, however in line with recent changes this has increased. In the customer’s scenario, there are 36 bays in the warehouse which have space at the end for 4 pallets. Each Bay has approximately 260 locations, each for a single pallet.The access to the end of the bay is via a standard pallet truck, or manual move. The movements in the bays are with VNA (very narrow aisle) specific devices, which due to their nature and size, need to work within a Bay as much as possible. To achieve the design, customer has worked with drop off locations at the end of each Bay, so a transport task on putaway would first go to the end of the bay, before a second task used by the VNA trucks would be used to locate the pallet in the racking.These trucks typically put one pallet away, then get a

Is there a way to print a Returns Note when the status is Reserved/Picked in a Supplier Shipment?

Below is the customer’s requirement.On the "Shipment" screen, it is possible to print a Delivery Note (and also packing list, Address label ,etc) before the shipment reaches a "Delivered" status (i.e. before the goods are collected from our premises). This is very useful as it allows customer’s dispatch team to generate all required dispatch documentation, and place them in a "Documents Enclosed" pouch attached to the goods prior to collection.On the "Supplier Shipment" screen, it is possible to print a Returns Note only once the shipment is in a Delivered status (i.e. after the goods have been collected from customer’s premises). This means the customer’s dispatch team are unable to generate the required document until after the goods have already left stock making it impossible to place it in a Documents Enclosed Pouch until the collection is actually taking place (and thus causing delay during the actual collection process).Therefore, the customer needs to print the Returns Note whi

Is there a setting in IFS that permits partial moves of transport task lines?

Question:A customer uses the transport task to stage materials to a floor stock location (a move from a warehouse location to a floor stock location). The Transport Task to stage materials is created from Inventory Part in Stock reservations.Approximately 40% of customer’s shop orders run for days at a time. For these large orders, not all materials can be stage all at once as there isn’t enough physical space on the manufacturing floor.IFS does not permit partial moves of transport task lines.Customer would like to partially execute a transport task line but is prevented from doing so by IFS.• Is there a setting in IFS that permits partial moves of transport task lines? • If so, is there a setting in IFS that permits operation reporting when only part of the transport task line has been executed?
