I would like to make a script to stop FSM mobile users from changing the task status field if they are current in process, or on route on a current task. To change statuses the users use the top left hand corner button to jump to the next status, What would be the best approach to apply this in FSM Mobile (android) 6u24

Currently we have seen an issue where receiving is not showing to multiple users, not the intended receiving person, as well as seeing receiving persons who are associated with the request but not the person. Is this something related to the ‘Owner’ Flag on the sync rules? Or another field within them?
During the upgrade testing for android 6u24, we have found that android by default is blocking permission when saving attachments to storage. Additionally, taking photos outside of the application - the directory is unable to be opened to locate the attachmentments. Are there any permission changes or configuration changes to allow this to happen?
When printing default server reports the default seems to have reverted to landscape orientation. Are there any app parameters or report options which control this behaviour?

We want to pass the current user id as a parameter to a custom perform definition when the user clicks a button on a page in the FSM 6 Smart Client. The modified_by field is not a solution as no data is being modified on the page. Does anyone know how to do this? Trying to solve an issue relating to a batch sync error on mobile with a baseline view. Two views: MMA_request_history_view and MMA_task_history_view are returning the following error‘~BatchSyncError:Metadata not found for mma_task_history_view.modified_dttm. Contact your system administrator for assistance.~’I have updated the view to include modified_dttm, as well as added custom metadata to reflect the new field. Both views use a similar line in their sync rule <attr>MMA_REQUEST_HISTORY_VIEW.*</attr> to label all fields. My assumption is that the custom metadata entry for mma_task_history_view is missing something to link it back to the baseline view. Any thoughts?
We have a situation where an item is billed in partial units, and credited back on another line. The value displayed on the request screen (for example) is $92.63 however the DB value is $93.635A bit of an odd question: Why is the value displayed to users not rounded up? Is there an equivalent to ‘Start Replications’ in FSM6 (on Sync Rules screen)? We are seeing active rules however the ‘Last run’ field does not seem to update on the schedule I would expected
Currently while attempting to print using any of the functions (print picks, print request, etc) in FSM the print dialogue is not triggered. -Attempted multiple printers-direct printing options (all combinations), printing automatically, use default printer-ensuring fsm user permissions same as regular who can print (active directory)-Hardcoding printer share name/port in app params-Ensure users have correct printer / share-Ensure printer is also mapped to application server The strange part is when attempting to print from the Reports Screen - Picklist and others seem to trigger a print dialogue or directly print (based on the settings used) without issue. The other odd thing is that the ‘print’ option from the hamburger menu also is able to trigger printing a screenshot without issue. Is there any additional configuration required? Can anyone help point me in the right direction here?

I am attempting to sync a custom table with FSM Mobile, when using the database query option in IFS mobile (6u23) the result returns an error. I am confused as to why when analyzing the sync rule I am able to return values however not actually view them within mobile. So recently both on our FSM 5.77 and 6u17 environments the quote workflow fails upon searching for a place. The strange thing is that it is only using the baseline workflow/client script. Even when reducing the output to below 10k records the same occurs, while the customer list returns 17k records without issue. We have done a large expiry of pricing rules specific to one client. The update was completed via SQL and did not happen organically within FSM. Screenshot showing an expired price (note the “Active flag” remains this seems to have no impact when prices are increased ) This is the pricing history for the same item (Part Pricing Rule 999) My question is - Why is it choosing an expired pricing rule (with a higher precedence) over a non expired pricing rule with a lower precedence? Even flipping between two on a single order: My hunch is the first was driven by a quote, and the second added manually, but this does still not explain the second line (SEQ: 911288) using an expired rule. Any thoughts appreciated
What mechanism controls the default screen design? Currently there are two design with multiple revisions, however I am unclear on what controls which screen is used
Every few weeks sync rule - replications become disabled, instead of saying “stop replications” in the attached screenshot, it will say “start replications”. I have been trying to figure out what is actually causing this behavior, it does not appear that windows updates/restarting the fsm server is a direct trigger. Are there any known causes of this?

When attempting to use manual dispatch / fixed time / fixed resource the task does not assign to any technician within FSM.We have identified that the update sent to PSO excludes the resource ID when these options are used and seems to be the issue stopping the assignment in PSO.
