Hi We are introducing lights out machining and looking to get an accurate cost of our parts. We can start an operation during the day which can take up to 24 hours to complete. My question is , As the cost of machining from 6pm to 6 am is dramatically reduced is there way of capturing this cost?
HiI have an example where APB seams to be ignoring supply .Having Part 1425517 pm actuator as a component below changes the planned finished date from October to the following February this is despite pegging to supply due in October (so 3582).There is also ample resource capacity in oct/nov to manufacture both. All parts supply are inventory, Parts are Finite scheduled. No other demand for part 1425517 exists. No condition code.No location restrictions. Result with pm actuator as component Result Without pm actuator as component I understand that the Feb. date is using the inventory part lead time but i would of thought that actual supply would be taken into account. All help very welcome as this has got me scratching my head. Thanks Ian
Hi We have an item that in in stock that is faulty and we want to return it to the supplier for repair. The Po has already been invoiced so return via PO receipt is not possible. Is the only workaround to create a customer order for the supplier in order to create a shipment or is there something i missed ? Ian
HiI’m having an issue where the operation after a set of parallel operations does not set as executable thus preventing the operation to be done on the shop floor workbench.
Hello Has anyone an answer to the below problem ? We need to undo a delivery as a customer has added a new line. There are no invoices created at this stage. Ian
Hi AllHopefully an easy one.Scenario, Part A( manufactured) is made from Part B (purchased), currently both set up as finite with a lead time.At the Begining Part A is scheduled for 100 days from now based on lead time, so far so good.A PO is created for part B and the planned arrival date can now be earlier or later than expected ,Now when i run APB i need this new arrival date (Actual supply) to supersede the default lead time. What settings / process do i need to incorporate in order for this to happen? RegardsIan
Hi Hoping for some inspiration here.I have a parent shop order with a need date of 01/10/2021( approx 1 day build) which contains multiple children of Both manufactured and purchased items. All manufactured parts set to Finite After Scheduling Through APB it is giving me planned finished in week 49 :(. This is despite all manufactured components having been scheduled to be completed by Week 39, Having ample capacity on the necessary work center and all PO’s been received.I’m also unable to drag it to an earlier date. This results is making no sense to me, is it possible that i’m missing some other constraint?Any light shed on the subject is welcome Ian
