Hi,One of the customers is looking for an option to change decimals up to three points in the quantity fields (refer to the below image) of Shop floor workbench. Can we achieve this functionally? If so, any recommendations?
Hi,Do the custom configurations upgrade automatically with a service upgrade? How do we identify the affected custom contexts after any service upgrade? BR, Ushan
Hi all, Refer to the below scenario, Environments/Databases:Version: IFS Cloud 21R2 A customer uses a sampling plan for LOT acceptance. You take a representative sample from the LOT and read "AcceptanceNo=0" and "RejectionNo=1" when using one or more defects found on inspection. This method is common in the aerospace and defense industry. <Questions>Q1:IFS supports "ISO 2859-1-1999 / ISO2859-3-2005" in "Standard" of "Acceptance Sampling Parameters".Is there a solution to apply the "C=0" rule to "Standard" in "Acceptance Sampling Parameters"?Q2:Can IFS users create new sampling templates and register them additionally in the IFS system?<"C=0" rule.>"C = 0" sampling plan is based on the premise that if zero nonconformities are found during the inspection, the lot is accepted. It is based on the premise that if one or more non-conformities are found during the inspection, the lot is rejected."Another way to define "C = 0" is that AcceptanceNo (ac) is always zero (0). Best regards
Hi, The Edit all functionality is not available for the ‘Early start’ and ‘Early Finish’ tabs in the ‘Activities’ screen in the cloud. However, this functionality is available in the ‘Project Transactions’ screen Yes, it’s understood that IEE client and cloud are not matched one to one.But for your reference, the replace all functionality is available in IEE in “Activities’ Screen allowing the users to do a mass edit. A customer has reported that “major use of find and replace by PMs right now is to update the start and finish dates of activities in bulk via the ‘Activities’ window”.Hence look into implementing specific actions/commands to enable users to do a multi-edit in the ‘Activities’ screen considering the business scenario mentioned above. Best regards,Ushan
Hi, The items highlighted in the below-attached image are not on the same screen (Estimate screen) in Aurena. Do these items exist somewhere else in Aurena?
1. Authorizer accessAn Authorizer should be able to report time for accessible employees, or change wrongly reported project time for accessible employees, in accordance with the project accesses that the resources in question have. This is not possible right now. 2. Manager AccessThe issue is that Managers only have access to report on own projects for Employee. Sometimes (normally sick leave) the Manager needs to report time for the Employee on project where he/she is not Project Manager, but that is not possible. This wasn't any problem in UPD 4 which we used before. But now when using UPD 6 it is a problem. Can you identify a solution where a Manager can report time for the Employee where he/she is not Project Manager (using window Time Registration in IFS Aurena)? Same goes for the Authorizer.
I am having a project deliverable structure as below.[level 1]: material project deliverable item connected to a manufactured inventory part with MRP code A [level 2] : non material project deliverable item connected to a manufactured inventory part with MRP code P (or K) and engineering phantom part with MPL part value "no demand" [level 3] : material project deliverable item connected to a purchased inventory part When I create the shop order for [level 1], the components are correctly fetched from the phantom parts but - again - the phantom part n° is not displayed on the shop order material line.In this case, the phantom part exists as an inventory part, so why isn't it working?
Do we have any method to change the default scheduling direction of shop orders from backward scheduling to forward scheduling?
In which scenario sub project is excluded from the Earned value calculation?
Even when the "Schedule Direction" on Operations tab in Shop Order is set to "Manual Scheduling" and once the user reschedule the shop order with APB, "Schedule Direction" of Operations tab in Shop Order gets automatically changed to "Backward Scheduling”. Any reason why this happens? Moreover, is it a problem to change "Schedule Direction" of Operations tab in Shop Order to "Manual Scheduling" when using APB?
When trying to make a parent manufacturing part’s product structure “buildable” having one of the next level product structures not made “buildable”, system does not generate an “Error message” restricting the user from doing so. This impacts the MRP calculation. Can this be improved or is there any solution already exist to accomplish the requirement?
