Apps 10 Aurena Permission sets vs IFS Cloud Permission sets

Hi All,Anyone with experience in upgrading from IFS Apps 10 Aurena Permission sets to IFS Cloud permission sets? Is it a full rework or can it be upgraded?I know if it is IFS EE to IFS Cloud then it is a complete redo, but guessing we can salvage a lot from Aurena permission sets to Cloud permission sets.Regards,Malik

Aurena Navigation - Next Record in a table screen

Hi Community,Does any one know how to navigate from one cell to another vertically.Ex: Project Activity Progress needs to be manually updated. I am trying to find how can I use the keyboard to move to the cell below my cursor. Usually down arrow key takes you, but in Aurena that doesn’t work. Especially for a data entry person like (finance / AP / Accounting) this is going to be challenging without a keyboard shortcut.Version Apps 10 Upd 15. Thanks in Advance!Malik

DOCUMENT_TICKET_TEMP_PATH clean up

Does anyone (I am looking at @Mathias Dahl 😁 here) know whether files in the app server are deleted / cleaned up on a regular basis. The app server file path is defined under DOCUMENT_TICKET_TEMP_PATH of “document default values” Reason for questioning this is, I’ve written an event action based on PDF_REPORT_CREATED job to unpack documents connected to a Purchase Order / Line and email it as an attachment to along with the purchase order. I don’t want the system to clog up by storing temp files in the App Server.Thanks in Advance! Malik

KPI Lobbies - IFS Cloud

Hi All, Sorry if I have posting this under the wrong sub group, I though “Experience” is the appropriate group as I couldn’t find any other. Does anyone know how the KPI’s are derived in IFS Cloud 21R2?There are many lobbies with KPI’s and it shows some values, and I cannot find how these KPI’s are calculated. Is there any documentation on this? Any help on this is really valued. Thanks in Advance!!!

Revoking access to an Entity

Hi Community, Can someone guide me on how to restrict access to certain section of a screen in IFS Cloud / Aurena please?We would like the Procurement Team to create supplier records but they should not be able to view the payment information. Only the finance team should be able to create and view payment information for the supplier including viewing rest of the supplier information. Bottom line is how do we revoke access on an entity from a standard projection? or is there another way of doing this. This is going to be critical for future implementations.Thanks in Advance!Malik

Oil and Gas Extension - Transport Orders - WADACO

Hi Community,Does anyone of you aware of the capability of Oil and Gas extension - Transport Orders in the space of barcode scanning to load inventory parts and receive transport order parts.The customer is on Apps 10 Upd 10 using Oil & Gas extension and want to Load parts using barcode scanning also at the destination they would want to have the receipts done via barcode scanning. I couldn’t find any WADACO processes for Transport Tasks. Wondering whether this exists at all or not? Really appreciate any inputs on this.Regards, Malik

Presenting Survey Answers on mWO Maintenance 10

Has anyone of you come with the above required?I would really appreciate any ideas thrown here, to get the survey answers visible on the mobile device.Background: Customer is using Apps 10 Upd 8. Data needs to be viewed Offline due to poor network in regional sites. MWO Maintenance 10 is used by technicians.Work Tasks are dispatched to service technicians, who fill out a survey. Data is capture in regards to the work location they are in (these work locations are defined as Equipment Object). The data captured in the survey is Equipment Object. Hereafter this data needs to be presented against the Equipment Object so future Work Tasks dispatched for other Service Technicians for the above Equipment Object shows the survey results.Ex: Tech 1 receives Work Task and goes to a Street (Equipment Object of the Work Task) and identifies several information in regards to the Street. This information is fed in to the system as a survey (15 questions with drop downs, and multi select answers etc

Event Action to update Application Server Task

Hi All,Really appreciate if someone can assist me with the package/method names to use to update the Parameter and Document ID via an EVENT ACTION. I am trying to automate the creation of Document Revision based on the results of a Quick Report.I have scheduled the below Application Server Task to run SYSDATE+10000 which is outside my window and never will fire. I am trying to create an EVENT ACTION to update the below values (Parameter, Document ID) and once the record is saved I am planning to run the schedule job via the same EVENT ACTION. Does any one of you know which method/package to use?The above concept works beautifully if I manually update the parameters and run the scheduled task. Now I am struggling to figure out how to automate it based on an EVENT.Thanks heaps! Malik

Predictive Maintenanace - Apps 10

Hi Community, Is there any functionality or work around that any one of you have come across in generating Work Order via PM Actions based on predictions.Ex: PM Action for Object LV-100 is defined to run on condition based generation. every 5000km the maintenance need to be done. Customer does the meter reading entry on a daily basis, thus they are very keen to see whether there is any possibility of triggering work orders based on predicted meter reading so they can plan the work up front.Customer is using Apps 10 Upd 11. Document Attachments and Object Transformation in Aurena

Hi All,I need some assistance from the wider audience, to figure out a way in Aurena to connect documents to line level items.Background - Apps 10 upd 9 (going on to 11 pretty soon), 100% Aurena usage intended , as still in implementation stage some tasks are done in IFS EE.What configurations are required to enable line level document attachments in Aurena? (ex: Purchase Requisition Line)Currently the settings are as follows;How do we attach a document on line level in Aurena ?( ex.Purchase Requisition Lines). When a document is attached while the PR line is select, the document still gets attached to the Purchase Requisition Header section. In IFS EE, we select the PR line that we need the document attached and a drag and drop to the document pane does the job. I can’t find a way to do this in Aurena. Object Transformation doesn’t show up on line level. How can this be enabled. Ex: Purchase Part has a document attached. Object Connection Transformation is enabled to show Purchase Par
