Where to Find Specific Webinar Content - Resource Planning

Hello,My company is starting a project to upgrade to IFS Cloud and one of our goals is to implement resource planning for both work orders and projects. When I say resource planning, I am referring specifically to employee allocations and schedules. How to see what people have on their schedules, over allocations, under allocations, etc.Is there existing webinar content that covers an overview of how this functionality works natively in IFS?THanks

Mobile Phone Camera for Media or Attachments in Aurena

Is it possible, in Aurena, to use your phone’s native camera function to attach pictures as either documents or media attachments? That would be a great way to capture pictures of serial objects, defects found in NCRs, receipts for expenses, etc. I am using UPD6 and when I go to media or attachments my only option is to browse for an existing file. I’d rather open the camera, snap a picture, and then have that image attach all in one process.

Business Reporter - Filter Design Column without a Repeater?

Is it possible to filter a design column or row without having a repeater? Every time I try to do this, my filter gets wiped out.Here are the steps I’m taking: I create a design row with a repeater and add filter criteria: The design column name and filters. I delete the repeater because I just want one column - I don’t want the data to repeat. The repeater that I originally had. After I deleted the “repeater” I click out of the column and then come back to it - my filter criteria is gone. The design columns and parameters are gone.

Change Time Registration to Start on Monday

I would like to change time registration from starting on Sunday to starting on Monday instead.Where do I make this change?Besides shifting that screen to be Monday through Sunday, are there any other impacts to making this change?

Looking for a Customer Reference for CRM in Aurena

Hello IFS Community,We are an IFS customer using Apps 10. We use CRM on a limited basis and we haven’t done much of anything with Aurena yet. We are evaluating our CRM needs to determine if IFS CRM can do what we need or if we need to look at Salesforce and then integrate with IFS ERP.As part of that evaluation, we would like to talk to an IFS customer who uses IFS CRM in Aurena. The more extensive the use of CRM and the more extensive the use of Aurena the better. Use of the Outlook integration offered by IFS would also be great to see.We would like to understand what that customer’s use cases for CRM are, how Aurena has helped, and the implementation effort required.If you are such a customer or know such a customer, please let me know.ThanksMark

Payroll - Pay Rate Change Based on Work Type?

Is there a way in IFS to calcuate a different pay amount in payroll based on the tyupe of work being done? We have a scenario where we want to pay a premium for hours spent on certain kinds of work order tasks. I’m curious if there’s some function in IFS to do payroll or wage code calculations based on work order task information.

Site-Customer Combination

Reading in IFS Help about order types, I came across this: “A default order type defined per site-customer combination has the highest priority, default order type on site has the next priority and default order type on customer has the least priority. “ Can someone tell me what a “site-customer combination” is?I know how to set defaults by customer and by site, but not “customer-site” combined.

Transfer Project Cost Accounting - Schedule Issues

When I manually run Transfer Project Cost Accounting Transactions, I am able to set a start date, and end date, and a voucher date.However if I attempt to schedule that job, I don’t have those same three fields as parameters. Instead I have parameters for “Execution Offset” and “Voucher Date Offset”. Those two fields default to zero. Can someone tell me how those two parameters work relative to start date, end date and voucher date?I would like some logic where I run the job nightly and transfer the last x months worth of transactions and post them to the most current date in the most current open fiscal period. Note - this is using Apps 10, UPD8.

Procedure Command_Sys.Mail is overloaded

I have an event action to execute online SQL and I’m getting this error on the background job. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?I will say that all other standard IFS email event actions work fine, only when I attempt to do an email through the method below do I have an issue. Procedure Command_Sys.Mail is overloaded and overloaded procedure is not supported. Default Value in a Pre-Posting?

Is there any way to have a default value in a pre-posting? There are some LUs where I’d like to pre-post a fixed value, but AC1 is not an option. In those situations, is there any way to default in the value in the pre-posting screen?

Is there a way to create an event that emails work task information as an ICS file so maintenance techs can add it to their calendars?Better yet, is there a way to sync work task assignments to an outlook calendar?

default to saved search in aurena LOV?

In IEE on an LOV, you can set a default saved search. Is there a way to do something similar in Aurena? For example, we built a saved search on expense sheets so that the only work orders a person will see are those that are assigned to them. Otherwise the LOV has way too much to navigate. How do you do that in Aurena?

change options in radiogroup control in Aurena

How do you change the options in a radio group control in Aurena? For example, when adding an expense to an expense sheet, there is a radiogroup control where the user picks between mileage, entertainment, and other. For my company entertainment is not a valid option. We only want either mileage or other. How do I hide the entertainment option from the radiogroup control?

How to Determine Aurena Permissions

How do I determine which Projections I need to grant in order to give permission to do a function in Aurena? For example, if I want to grant the “Report Time” function, how do I find the projections to grant?

Is there any customer out there that has this working in v10 - that are able to produce operational reports (like POs and such) inside of IFS?

Is there any customer out there that has this working in v10 - that are able to produce operational reports (like POs and such) inside of IFS? Also, I think the attachment is from version 9 - it refers to Simple LDAP which is not supported in v10. Is there a version of this document updated for v10?
