Set default value in dialog box for print of labels from custom menu

HiWe’re currently on APP10 UPD14. In some scenarios we would like to print Shipment Handling Unit Label from ‘Handling Unit’ menu due to large shipments with serial number parts. We have made some adjustments to the Shipment Handling Unit Label. It is possible to print the correct layout from ‘Handling Unit’ menu. However, we need to fill in some information manually → this is static and should always be the same. Does anybody know if it’s possible to set a default value in a pop up dialog box so it’s always ‘FALSE’. See below:In field Shpmnt Delivered we need to fill in ‘FALSE’. Otherwise, it’s printed with wrong layout.   Is it possible to set a default value in the dialog box so it’s always ‘FALSE’?  Let me know if anything need to be elaborated. Cheers!!

Persistent Custom Field to have default date (sysdate)

Hi,Is it possible to create a default value for a persistent custom field? I want to add the date (sysdate) automatically when a new line is created in the CF. I tried to create one myself with an PL / SQL Expression but when I’m trying to synchronize it’s not possible. See below.  Also, is it possible to make the field not editable before the line is saved? See below example with user. This is also created as a persistent custom field which auto fetch the user_id. However, it’s possible to change. We would like to remove the editing option in the field. Meaning the user id is auto filled automatically with no possibility to edit. cheers!!

WaDaCo Process MOVE_PART timing out

Hey IFS Community!We're having some issues with a configured WaDaCo flow: MOVE_PART. The flow is supposed to move all the part records from one location to another at once, but it keeps timing out after just one minute on the scanner. Weirdly, it was working fine before, but after last week, it suddenly stopped working. We're currently on APP10 UPD14. The records on the from location is about 65 part lines with a connected WDR number. It hasn't been increased. We have used the flow for half a year without any issues - until now. Also, we haven’t had any deliveries from IFS. I recall it took about 1 minute and 30 seconds to execute, but I’m not 100% sure.The scanner's giving us the error message 'Unexpected http status code: 500 ERROR_CLOUD_UNKNOWN_EXCEPTION: The operation has timed out'. I’m wondering if anyone else has had the same issue, and if it's possible to increase the scanner’s time out time.Also, if you've got any ideas on how to optimize the MOVE_PART flow so it works better,

Migration Job help to auto update status on Purchase Order Line

Dear IFS Community,I've made a migration job to Purchase Order Lines that automatically updates the status to "Confirmed" on PURCHASE_ORDER_LINE_PART when a new line is added or modified. This is working perfectly and the status is changed to Confirmed when I execute all lines or a single line.However, I have encountered an issue when including columns from the PO header. These need to be maintained through the same migration job as well. Despite including them in the migration job, I am unable to automatically update the status on all lines after adding the header. The status can only be updated by executing each line individually. Excel Migration Job - Help to delete/remove records

Hi Community,Is it possible to delete/remove records using an excel migration job? I’m trying to delete/remove users for WaDaCo processes but unfortunately i cannot solve it.. I have added ‘DATA_CAPT_CONF_VALID_USER_API.Remove__’ in the Method List. An example could be to delete/remove all users for our scanner ID6: The migration job has the current setup:   I’ve also tried different setups. Example in the method lists to use ‘%’ in Column value and DUMMY in Column Name.

Wrong/different Revision on PO Line and Receipt

Hi, We face a strange issue. On the Purchase Order Line the Revision No = 5: On the Receipt goods the Revision is 4: Is it possible to find out what the cause for the above is? I’ve looked on Purchase Order Changes for PO 11049113 in SQL Query. It seems no changes has been made on this PO:  How can this be investigated? BrChristian

Move same Parts to same Location with different expiration date

Hi IFS Community!In Inventory Part In Stock it is not possible to move a part to a new location which contain the same part with a later expiration date. See below images.The error code is ‘Expiration date may not be later than from-locations exp.date.’.Is it possible with standard IFS to ‘exclude’ this rule? Maybe on a warehouse or location level set a parameter where expiration date is equal to location?Thanks!Br

Lobby Element Link List - Negative value not visible

Hi, For some reason it’s not possible to show negative values in the link list element I’m trying to make. In my Data Source it’s possible to extract a negative value. However, it’s not possible to get the value shown in the Link List element. If I re write the expression so it’s a positive value, it’s able to be shown.I tried currency, decimal , number options in the data source but none is showing this particular negative value in the lobby. WaDaCo IFS APP10 possible to make it user specific on share license

Hi IFS Community!!We use 94 WaDaCo scanners in our warehouses. These scanners are set up with shared licenses.Each scanner can have multiple users (day, night and evening shifts). Is it possible to somehow indicate which user who made the transaction on a scanner on a shared license? We can see all transactions made by the specific scanner ID but not which person/user. We are on IFS App 10 UPD 14. Scanner APP: IFS Apps 10 Scan it – Apps i Google Play (IFS Apps 10 Scan It).Let me know if above need to be elaborated.Cheers!

Aurena (UPD10) how to re write expression in dialog box to make field required

Hi,I’ve made a Field in Aurena in ‘’My Time Registration'’ Required. However, it is possible to save without enrich it with any values. So basically it’s NOT required/mandatory even though it ticked. See below image. The required field is in a Dialog Box.I contacted IFS Support with following answer: As I explained earlier, changing the expression that should in theory work, but it is very hard to get that expression correct, and we don't support editing such expressions so that has to been done on your own risk. Unfortunately, we don’t have documentation on how to re write the expression and it falls outside the scope of maintenance and support. Two expressions can be changed. Quick Report how to search on multiple suppliers

How can i write an expression/query so it’s possible to search on multiple suppliers? Recommendation Scanners for WaDaCo

Hi,The organization I’m working in just implemented IFS. We use WaDaCo for moving of goods, register arrivals etc. In this regard I’m curious of which hardware (scanners) you use and will recommend?Currently we use Zebra TC21 but have some difficulties to deploy certificate on them and secure a stabil internet connection.Cheers!

How to setup and use scanners for WaDaCo in the best way

Hi,Currently we have 15 scanners in our Production which use 15 IFS licenses to run WaDaCo. We’re planning to implement approximately 65 new scanners in other factories to use WaDaCo functionality.  Do you know if it will demand we use 65 new IFS Licenses or is there a better and more efficient way we we can approach this? It could be great if it’s possible to decrease the use of licenses. 80 licenses for the use of WaDaCo seems high.So It is possible to ‘share’ licenses? We tried to test the use of same/shared license on multiple scanners and the sessions were ‘parked’ so it didn’t work.Please share your knowledge :) Regards Christian
