We are experiencing an error on Apps 10 Aurena (Update 14 in Production and Update 19 being tested on non-Production environment). It is: “The datasource for the singleton must not contain more than one record”. Initially I was seeing it when on the ‘Invoices to Authorize’ screen and clicking the links to Invoice History, Invoice Info and Authorization Details. But now I see that I am also getting the error when trying to view the pages from within a permission set. I tried it with the debug console loaded but all it shows is this We currently are only using Aurena to authorize PO’s and invoices and have been doing that for the last few years. I suspect that users are not using these links on the Invoices to Authorize window because I definitely would have heard complaints.I have tried granting myself fnd_admin, also a permission that grants all projects but I cannot get passed the error. And the fact that I get it from within the permission set is extra puzzling.If anyone has some
On the Document Management\Approvals screen in Aurena, we are trying to clean up the list of entries to show just the records with a null Approval Status...ie those that are waiting for an approval or a rejection. We can see these entries when the full screen is populated. But we cannot filter for null or not eq rejected or approved. Is there any way to do this filter? Hi,We are looking for a bit of help. We are trying to determine if an observation is system designed or if it is related to some customization we have had done a few years ago.When on the Financials\Project Accounting\Projects\Projects screen, if we RMB on a particular line, the option to go to Project is available if the project status is not ‘Planned’.If the status is Planned, the option to go to Project is grayed out.A user reported this to us. I tested the same while logged in as IFSAPP and I see the same thing happening. Unfortunately we do not have a test environment that does not include out customization so I can’t confirm if this is IFS base functionality or not.Is anyone able to confirm if what is happening is unique to us or not?Thanks,Lorraine Burns
We created a permission set about a year ago to allow using ManualSupplierInvoiceAssistant. At the time it was able to create and save a supplier invoice. At that time, it was decided not to go forward with using the Aurena screens to enter invoices so it was put aside.Last week we decided to start using it. I tested with the permission and receive the error below when I click the Finish button. We have done a few updates since that initial creation period and are currently at this version:Can anyone provide some suggestions of things to check. to help correct these errors? We are in the process of rolling out Aurena Notify Me for PO and Invoice authorizations and have run into an error that I cannot resolve.Purchase Order authorization works great. User receives notification of a PO in their windows notification center. When they click the notification, the app is launched. User can authorize the PO from here, PO line in the App will show Pending. After a few moments, it will disappear from the notifications listing. When we check IFS, the PO shows authorized. All is good. When an invoice is assigned to a user to authorize, the user receives the notification in their windows notification center. When they click the notification, the app is launched. User can click Authorize here, window updates to show the Invoice Line status as Pending, as shown below After a few moments, the invoice line disappears and at the same time, another notification appears (with no description on it) in the windows notification center. Hi,We are looking to rollout Aurena Notify Me for PO Authorizations but have noticed that attachments will only appear in the app if they are attached to the header of the PO (Object=PurchaseOrder). But if they are attached to a Part Order Line (object=PurchaseOrderLinePart) or No Part Order Line (object=PurchaseOrderLineNopart) they do not appear in the app.If the user views the PO with Enterprise Explorer or Aurena, they can see attachments connected to all 3 of these objects so it does not appear to be an access issue.Does anyone know if the app is designed to show only the header attachments or is it something within the configuration that I am missing? Within the app, for one of my test PO’s, I am able to view the doc_reference_object table and see that only the attachment document for the PO Header is shown. The part line and no part line documents do not appear.All 3 objects are accessible with the same Document class so if 1 works, I would expect the other 2 to be the same.We a
Hi For the last 3 years I have looked after creating and modifying permission sets. We have 4 non-Prod environments and 1 Prod environment. All are at the same IFS version which is:Mods are always done on one of the non-prod instances. Once tested and approved, they are imported into PROD (after making a backup export of the existing PROD permission)I have never had any issues importing until the last month or two. A successful import now is hit and miss. More often than not, I am getting this error:I am logged in with my own login id with IFS_Full permission. Nothing on that side has changed. Typically, if I try importing the original permission back in, it works. Then if I try the modified version again, it will work.But today I was not able to import the previous version,, got the same error. I logged in as IFSAPP, got the same error. I shut everything down, restarted my computer and was able to import the original as IFSAPP.Any ideas what might be causing this or what I could check
We are currently using a ‘default’ Work Time Calendar with no Exceptions. It is based on a schedule called Week that is 7 days long, starts on Monday. Mon-Fri are day type=weekdays where working time = 480mins/day. Sat-Sun are day type = weekend, where working time = 0mins/day. We are seeing our warehouse staff needing to work on the weekends now. We use Cedar Bay with IFS and are running into a problem where transactions are failing to run on Cedar Bay because the weekends are not set up as workdays in the calendar. We can also get an error within IFS when we set a PO’s planned receipt date = Sat or Sun.We would like to modify the calendar to set working time=480mins/day for Sat and Sun. But, we are not sure what else is affected by adding more working time to the week. Does anyone have suggestions as to what areas we should look at to see how this change could affect our other functions?Thank you,Lorraine

I have created 2 new contexts/scopes within Aurena based on job functions for 2 areas within our company. - Invoice Entry & Invoice Authorization.I am having an issue with context mappings. I know that the attributes that can be used to map a context are: Company, WageClass, Ledger, UserGroup, User.I have only been able to get the appropriate context to apply when I map with Company and WageClass (which won’t really work for us). And Company, while it does work, won’t really work for us since users in the 2 job functions could be in the same company.So,for the User attribute, what is considered ‘user’? I have tried Identity/Database ID, Directory ID (we use SSO) and I still cannot get the context to apply once logged in.For Usergroup, is this referring to a User account usergroups? If so, I have tried USERGROUP = 100 and have had no luck. I even tried a Finance User group just in case...same failed result.And for the last option, Ledger, I am not sure what that is referring to and
HiOur PO’s may have documents attached on the header of a PO or on a Part Line/No Part Line.Using Aurena, if we query a PO and it has attachments on the header, it will indicate this with a counter. But if there are documents attached to Part or No Part lines, there is no indication of anything being attached.It is only by clicking on the each line’s attachment paperclip does it refresh the line with the number of attachments, if they exist. For our managers working from remote sites and using their devices to approve orders, this is not efficient.Is there a way to display the attachment numbers right away when a PO is displayed?We are currently on IFS App 10, update 9, We are being told that we should have an update available for us with in the next few weeks. Not sure if that will make any difference or not.Thanks!
