What Function Argument from External file template to for 2 decimals

I need the output of the check_amount to show 2 decimal places. Ex. 550.20. The export file seems to drop the last zero. What function should I use to format this properly?Thanks

How to remove special characters when using INET_TRANS for XML

How to remove special characters when using INET_TRANS for XML. What is the best way to remove special like ‘& < >’ and others. These might appear in a description or an address field and they create errors in the output xml file. This is from Send_Purchase_Order xml. Is there a systematic process to keep these characters from going to xml?

Where are the PDF files created for Print Manager?

Where are the PDF files created for Print Manager? What server is creating the PDF that get printed? We have reports that are “Waiting” in Print manager and don’t process. Is the issue with the “Middleware” server or Print Agent server that runs Crystal web services? Are PDFs physically created before they print? We continue to have interruptions in printing and I am trying to figure out where it is failing. I try “Restarting” the jobs but nothing happens. Could Antivirus/Microsoft Defender cause an them not to print?Jobs stop once or twice a week at different times and the only way to get the jobs printing is to restart the print server.We are on APPS10 UPD11 IEE.Can someone help?

What does this Print Manager error mean? Unable to create device context. Error 0: The operation completed successfully. If I RMB and select restart it processes but nothing prints. We are on APPS10 Upd11, need help.

What would cause the error: Route departure date is not within current calendar? What calendar are they refferred to? When I try to create a new customer order I know it is using the route Id for the customer to calculate theWanted delivery date. Does this error mean I need to activate a calendar?

Print Job stops running - Reason: Internal Server Error

In the last few weeks we have had errors on our Print Agent. Print jobs error and we have to reboot the server to resolve the issues. We tried just restarting the Print agent service but that did not help. We also tried restarting IIS but that did not help. We are using Crystal web services and we are currently on IFS APPS10 UPD#11.Has anyone seen these errors before?

I want to setup a sales part that can be invoiced but has no inventory cost and $0 zero sales price. It is not purchased part but just information. Is it possible as a non-inventory part? Thanks

Is there a way to copy the orginating customer order number to a field on the purchase order? I want a way to link the supplier PO to our customer order number. Is there a normal way to this or does it need to be custom fields?

Can the Sales Configurator be used to order non-configured parts

Can the Sales Configurator be used to order non-configured parts. We have a supplier that will direct ship non-configured parts to our customers but we want to use the configurator to choose certain part characteristics to select the correct part to place on the customer order? Has anyone done this? We currently do CTO and create shop orders to build and ship product but our supplier ERP system can not handle configured parts. Is there a solution in IFS to handle this?. We are on IEE APPS10 UPD#11. Thank you,

How can we notify warehouse staff to deliver parts to production floor? We think sending a material requisition would work but I don’t know. We want to send the notification to the warehouse for specific part number to be delivered to the production floor for a specific Shop Order being assembled. Can a warehouse location be shared by multiple sites?

Can a warehouse location be shared by multiple sites? We have multiple sites that create different CTO product and we want store and ship the items from one central location. The orders are entered on different sites so to invoice the item needs to be in a location on that site, correct? Can I create a location that I can move items from different site into a shared location. Space is limited so if I put an item from site #1 into it I need IFS not to allow an item from site #2 put in it. Hopefully this makes sense. We are using APPS10 UPD#11. Thank you.

Print Manager error message An item with the same key has already been added.

I’m getting an error in Print Manager, (An item with the same key has already been added) but the report is still printing. What would cause this? If i print through ‘Order Report’ I don’t get the error. I ger the error if I print using RMB sql action or when I print using an event trigger sql action. It happens now on two different reports with different views. Has anybody else seen this error when printing?Thank you,

What IFS modules are needed to process Return Material Authorization?

I need help to determine if I need additional IFS Modules? We currently create an RMA when a customer returns a damaged part to us for repair. We want to capture any labor and material used to fix/repair the part. Most of our parts are CTO/MTO and returned to us for repair. We are on IFS APPS10 UPD#11. Can you attach media item type video?

Can you attach media item type video? When I create a new media item (type video) I get an error. You can select Video in the Media Item Type selection but I can’t attach a file. Is there a certain file type I should use. We ar on APPS10 UPD11.
