We are currently receiving an error stating user is not authorized when trying to cancel Manual Supplier Invoices. This doesn’t happen on each cancellation attempt but only on a sporadic few. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks
Good Morning, We recently moved from Apps 10 Update 14 to 20 and have noticed a large speed change in our Lobbies. We lobbies changed in one of these updates? I cannot find it in any IFS documentation for updates. Thanks
Good Afternoon, We are currently on Apps 10 Update 20 and working on some custom fields. Is it possible to have a custom field highlight when data is entered? These fields would be on headers in orders, quotes, customers and not necessarily in a line item level. We can do conditional formatting in line level detail but would like it to be applied there as well. Thanks
Good Morning, We are reviewing our Distribution and Manufacturing Postings Analysis Screen and noticed that we have a transaction that is transferred (Status Code 3) but no voucher was generated. It looks like the posting controls are setup correctly as we have no errors (M1 - Inventory & M5 - Receipt Without Purchase Order) showing on this transaction. This is a first time occurrence from the Distribution side for us because we usually clear errors and they push through as desired. Any help on this would be great as this is going to affect Month End Close. We are currently on Apps 10 Update 20 in IFS. Thanks
Good Afternoon, Is it possible to add a Serial Number manually in IFS? We recently had AP miss entering a serial number in IFS but now we need to do a RMA without a serial number. The system doesn’t like that and blocks the RMA. I want to be able to add into the serial history to the part and complete my RMA. Thanks
Good Afternoon, We are working in Apps 10 EE in the Manual Supplier Invoice Module. We just created 4 new companies in IFS (separate from our main operating company) and need to generate supplier invoices to pay shareholders. Based on our knowledge, we have set these companies up correctly but cannot get to the posting proposal screen when testing from the manual Supplier Invoice. The new companies are setup from an AP authorizer perspective in the same manner. Any thoughts on why we cant get to posting proposal? Thank You
Good Morning, We are currently reviewing our posting controls in Apps 10 EE and have found a situation we are questioning. We require pre-posting on PO’s not tied to an inventory part and a Work Order. While reviewing the posting controls called Pre-Accounting, we have noticed they have never been triggered. First question - should they be?Second question - If we remove the posting controls, would it cause errors in the posting analysis? Thanks

Good Afternoon, We have recently updated our Account Controls to require department being pre-posted on a Work task. Prior to this change, this was not a requirement. Is there a way to go back into a closed work task and update said pre-posting as needed? From the screenshot below you can see where I re-open and attempt to pre-post on the work task but dept is grayed out and unable to update. This is holding up a close, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
Good Morning, We are currently on IFS EE 10 Update 14. The current system default for entering lines on a CO is 1, 2, 3, etc. I know you can change the line number when adding the line if needed but I would like to know if you can change the defaults. We would like to change to 10, 20, 30, etc on both the Customer Order and Sales Quote. Thanks
We are currently on IFS Apps 10, update 14 utilizing the Vertex Tax software. When creating an Advanced Invoice with lines with different tax rates, the system will not auto calculate tax. We get a message that tax must be entered manually but we can’t enter manually on an Advanced Invoice. Example: Part line is taxable in the state Virginia (USA) but freight is not considered taxable. I need the freight to be included in the total of the Advanced Invoice. How can I accomplish? Thanks

Are there any plans to allow attachments to be drug in from Microsoft email? Currently you have to drag to your desktop/temp folder and then drag into IFS. This would cut out a step. Thank You

Good Morning, Is it possible to change a Customer on a Customer Order? In our event we selected the incorrect customer and want to change it. We have a large PO tied direct ship so Copy Order to generate a new Customer Order with a new PO would require a large amount of rework. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks
We are currently on IFS Apps 10 utilizing the Sales Quotation module. Does anyone know of a flag to turn off update Sell Price when a quantity is changed or the customer is changed. Sell Price is considered list for us and is changed on a regular basis. If we select the wrong customer and flip it to the correct customer the Sell Price defaults back to system default. Same with updating a quantity. Thank You
I have a Freight Charge (charges tab) on a Customer Order that is tied to a Work Order that I need to credit. Since it is tied to a Work Order, I cant create a freight credit easily in IFS. I can create a freight credit through the Work Order but it would push to the order lines tab. I need this credit to be placed on the charges tab. Has anyone encountered this or have a suggestion? Good Morning Community, Is there a way to create a Transport Task within a Customer Order in either the planned or released status that allows for a direct Peg to be achieved? I see an order Ref option in the Transport Task screen but cannot get a direct connection. This could also apply to Work Orders or Shop Orders as well. Thank You
Is it possible to update a Sell Price on a service line once pushed to the Customer Order? We receive an error stating it must be done in the Work Order but wondering if there is a bypass flag somewhere in the basic data to avoid that. We are using IFS APS10 Thank You
We are currently working in Apps 10 of IFS. Our scenario is working on a Work order in site A but need material from Site B. Is it possible to generate a Transport task to pull inventory from site B directly within the Work Order? If the answer is no, is it possible to Manually reserve inventory on an active Transport Task from within the Work Order? Thank You
Good Morning, We are on APPS 10 and tied in with Vertex to manage our tax requirements. We have noticed that when a RMA is completed with a freight line, the freight line is not transmitting to Vertex. All other lines are with no issue and tax is calculating correctly. This is not an issue on the CO side, just when a RMA is genereated. Has anyone had this happen to them as well? is it a bug or potentially a setting in Vertex we missed? Any help is appreciated.
We have a scenario where a Service Work Order was pushed to a Customer Order and Delivered to prepare for invoicing. Upon doing this, the user noticed incorrect pricing. Once a Customer Order tied to service is in the delivered status, what is the easiest way to update the Sell price? Currently all we know to do is push the CO to invoicing and then create a credit/re-bill which is long and very difficult to do. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed.
