IFS Cloud - PDF viewed in browser vs download and view

21r2, using Chrome and with Aurena Agent installed, I find that the “eye” preview icon on a document attachment opens a PDF in the browser, whereas if i go to the document and click “View” i get the standard docman download to local checkout path.What’s the reason for the difference?Is there a way to get the eye/in-browser preview elsewhere?Preview in browser:

How to query user license usage

This is an apps 9 question but i think is equally valid for Apps 10 and later Is it possible to write a sql query that pulls out a list of active users and their current IFS license usage?

Test-a-rest with a command - URI is malformed

Hi,I’m working with Test-a-rest I’m getting an issue when trying to run status change actions. For example I have this simplified script: ```csEval "S" Into myRegionCode Get SalesRegionsHandling.svc/SalesRegions(RegionCode='{$myRegionCode}') Into myRegionPrint myRegionCreate SalesRegionsHandling.svc/SalesRegions(RegionCode='{$myRegionCode}')/IfsApp.SalesRegionsHandling.SalesRegion_SetHidden Using myRegion{}``` It should set the Region from Active to Hidden.But I get this error, URI is malformed. Any ideas what’s going wrong?

MWO ServiceEng not working after upgrade to 22r2

Delete Object Connections (e.g. approval routings) with parent object

Issue with deserializing contents in Powerapp Action

Experimenting with Powerapps… and IFS Actions, for example a status change.We have seen the “error while de-serializing contents” issue in many threads, and the answer is that we have to submit an empty JSON body like {}. I’m just not seeing how to do this in Powerapps. This example works for the Lead/SetParked action, which does take a body: But the Lead/SetUnqualified action does not take a body.If i do something like this, Powerapps does not submit a body and so we get the error while deserializing contents issue. There must be some syntax in Powerapps that allows us to specify that an empty body {} should be submitted. Any ideas how we do that?

MWO Service 22r2 - default remote warehouse location

We have recently upgraded to 22r2Suddenly, today, we are unable to Start work on the mobile due to this error.MWO appearance has also changed - it is as if it thinks all of our tasks are pickup tasks (we are not even using inventory).Can anyone advise why we are seeing this

MWO Aurena Native - when is "Configuration Applied" evaluated/re-evaluated

Hi,question about “Configuration Applied” field in MWO (ServiceEngApp).Where is it stored, when does it get evaluated, and when does it get re-evaluated?I have run a lot of tests and am observing that it gets evaluated when a request task is first synchronized onto the device. But i cannot get it to consistently re-evaluate e.g. when a new, higher-weighted configuration is synchronized to the device.Should this re-evaluation be achievable?

MWO Service - no objects in List when creating New Work from a Work Order

We are rolling out MWO Service and have EquipmentObject set to Grouped Push.Grouped Push is running successfully and we can see objects on the device via the Objects page - and we can create New Work from there (work order).However, from an ongoing Work Task if we go to New Work, in the assistant click Objects list, there are no objects listed.This page must be running a query against the list of objects and returning nothing - can anyone provide the details of the query it is running?

Request Management - multiple quotes per request

Currently (23r1) we only allow a single quote to be attached to any Request.I am encountering scenarios where we would want multiple quotes per request. Is there any plan to add this flexibility?Scenario:There’s an initial fault, for which a quote is issued (and accepted) so work can begin. While performing that work, further damage is discovered to another part of the assembly, and the desire is to create a second scope with its own quote for that additional work. Work should be able to continue on the original scope, which was already approved, whether or not the customer accepts the second scope quote.
