The “Edit All” function does not work properly in the Sub Contract Revisions and Items Screen

When creating a subcontract, we can assign the sub contract to certain projects.The revisions and items are then linked to the Activities available in the project. There are subcontracts with sometimes 100 items, where “Edit All” functionality is used on a column field to assign the Project, Sub Project, Activity to the items in the Revisions and Items.The issue is, when selecting “Edit All” we can see all the projects in the system. However, it would be better to only see the Projects assigned to the Sub Contract, on the Sub Contract Header.This issue also concerns the columns “Sub Project” and “Activity”. Steps:On the Sub Contract header details, add the Project Go to the Revisions and Items Edit the Items - on column “Project” click on “Edit All” In the dropdown list of the “Edit All” screen, all projects are shown. The suggested expectation is to only see the Project that is assigned in step 1 (Sub Contract header). The same issue is also seen on the column “Sub Project” and “Activ

EU Working Time Directive

The Court of Justice of the European Union has ruled that in order to ensure the effectiveness of the rights provided for in the Working Time Directive and the Charter, the Member States must require employers to set up an objective, reliable and accessible system enabling the duration of time worked each day by each worker to be measured. How and when will IFS incorporate this directive into the application ? NOTE: Issue has been raised via CS0194354

Eng part revision - Replace old revision process doesnt work in multiselect

In the Engineering Part Revisions screen, it is allowed to selct multiple lines do the “Replace Old Revision” for multiple parts at once. The customer selects 2 lines as follows and proceed to check the “Replace Old Revision”. (It is allowed to select multiple lines and RMB) The “Replace” process starts using the wizard. However, it only completes for one part rather than all selected parts. This is misleading as the customer is given the ability to select multiple parts to be Replaced.

Multiple Currencies in a single Project

Can we do the resource planning only using the accounting currency of the company? Or can we use multi-currencies within the project? Can different Sub- Project have different Currency as a default value?

Documentation for Update Information

Is there any documentation where changes between updates can be found (preferably in a table format; excel) so it can be easily compared with previous updates? Also, including bugfixes included in the update with the respective modules effected. This would be helpful to compare and differentiate between updates.

Qty Required is not rounded off for some parts and rounded off for some other parts.

A shop order has been created with following material lines. However, in shop order materials tab, line 1 is not rounded off whereas line 2 is rounded off Columns with the issue (3): Qty required, Qty Remaining, Qty Remaining to Issue Is there any setting to adjust the number of decimal points to be displayed from application side?

Error in Visual Capacity Requirement Planning

There seems to be a client error when trying to select specific columns in the graphs of Visual Capacity Requirement Planning screen. • Go to the Visual capacity requirements planning window• Then select search icon and select first 24 data• Then select visualize selected order or filtered order• Click any column in the graph.• You will see the client error

The rounding in the inventory behaves differently depending on the UoM.

Pre requisite: Set “Qty Calc Rounding” for part as “0”.Assume the Number = 150.00000000000012 When an inventory part has the UoM as Weight (kg), Volume (l), or Length (m), the rounding of the “Qty Required” for Shop Orders work as follows;ROUND(150.00000000000012, 0+ 2) = 150 However, when the UoM is set as “EA” (Each), with a Base unit “pcs”, the function behaves as follows;TRUNC(150.00000000000012, 0) + POWER(10, 0 * -1) = 151 If the “Qty Calc Rounding” for part is “2”. The value for UoM EA is 151.01. It seems when the UoM is EA the quantity is always rounded up regardless of the number.

Serial number reservation lost when cancelling the supply request

In project deliverable, when an item is connected to a serialized manufacturing invenroty part, we have the possibility to reserve the serial n° that need to be manufactured.So that when the Shop order is created from the deliverable item, the serial n° reservation done on the deliverable item is transferred to the SO.When we cancel the supply request from the deliverable item - i.e. the SO is cancelled -, the serial n° reservation is not available anymore.

Default selection in "Question Messages"

Is it possible to select the default selection in a “Question Message” as “No” so that if they press Enter key “No” is validated rather than the current default value “Yes”?Can the customer configure the default selected button by themselves?

Date Format change in relation with the Language.

Is there a way to change the date format along with the laguage changes? For example, a French customer has requested that the English date format MM/DD to be changed to DD/MM when selecting the language to “French” as well. The date format at the bottom of the graph is in English date format even though the client is running Windows client in French and the user have French language selected. For example, the first need to be “13/07-30/07” and not “07/13-07-30”.

Reserve/Backflush option in product structure

For a manufactured part,if we set the Reserve/Backflush option to Manual in the Product structure and run a shop order flow,it would allow a user to issue material less than the shop order lot size but would also allow to receive the full quantitiy after operations are reported.any specific reason for this?

How does the aeam access supercede in Projects for multiple teams for one team member?

In a scenario where a team member is in 2 teams where one has view only permission and the other has access to change time, cost and material in the project, which team access is in effect for that particular team member?

Manufacturing Tool Capacity Cannot be defined in Cloud.

In Manufacturing Tools there is no possibility to define and restrict the capacity of a tool if needed. This is also unavailable in IEE. A date range could be specified to facilitate a time period however, the tool capacity cannot be specified in any way.

"Date Applied" definition for transactions

Is there a specific defined definition for the “DATE APPLIED” field in the windows Labor History, Opreration History and Indirect Labor History other than the definition given from the help option in IFS documentation?

Is there any way that a PDF related to the project invoice to be attached to the supplier invoice in the other company?

When there is a multi-company invoice set up, Is it possible to attach the project invoice to the supplier invoice which has generated in the other company? Customer is having such a requirement since project invoice is will not be visible in Aurena and they compel to jump between different entities to gather the invoice information. The checkbox is only editable when using E-INVOICE media code. (not available for MHS code) However, the customer requirement is “MHS” media code which is not available.(After the document is saved in the same document class of that of the company.) Is there another way or even a workaround for this process?
