Is there a way to change the status of a Business Opportunity Line to “Won” without having to create a customer order from the Line? We have lines that are part of a bigger project that are technically “Won” but we can only cancel the line or create a customer order and then cancel the customer order.Seems that you should be able to Wim the Line like you can do at the Business Opportunity header.We are using Enterprise Explorer, version 10, update 13
We have a number of IALs that update on a schedule and they work great, but there are a few that always get stuck on the Update Status of POSTED. Once stuck they will not update. There is no background job associated with the IAL.I can do a manual update and it works fine.Any ideas of what could be happening here?
I have developed 3 lobby elements for the Customer 360 Context Lobby Pane. I would like all those in my organization the ability to see these elements when viewing the Customer 360 screen but no one can except me.How do I make these elements visible in the Context Pane to all users.
I have created an IAL to pull HR data and set up a schedule update. When I run the IAL it returns over 3000 records however, when the schedule update runs, it returns 65 records. I noticed that the IAL scheduled update background job runs under the App Owner user ID which does not have the same HR access as I do. Question: Can schedule IAL Updates be configured to run under specific user ids instead of app owner? If not, any Ideas on work around for this issue other than giving app owner HR access?
I have a “Right Mouse Button” menu item to generate a quick report. Is there a way to have a menu click automatically generation the Export to Excel function for a quick report? My user has to click several more buttons to send it to excel and that is what I want the menu item to do. We are on Apps 10, Update 10

We are starting to use the Employee Development Program functionality in IFS. We can not figure out where to sett up which employee is a Counselor in the Counselor IDs. When we F8 on the Counselor ID field, there are a few employees listed but some are not managers. We need direction on how to designate an employee as a Counselor.
Is there a place in IFS EE where the Asset class is stored with the Inventory Value? We use the inventory value by period to report our total inventory levels, but we would like it by Asset Class. There are views in IFS that has the information, but the views seem to capture the data when the view is displayed hence the asset class displaying with the historical inventory value is the current asset class, not the asset class when the historical data was taken.

We are looking into using the Alternate Parts Functionality. What is the difference between setting up the Alternate Part on the Part Master / Alternative Parts tab and the other two screens (Alternate Purchase Part Base Data and Alternate Purchase Part Base Date). While testing, it seems thatentries made on the Part Master screen don’t have any underling functionality other than copying the information to the alternate part. No information appears on the Alternate Purchase Part Base Data and Alternate Purchase Part Base Date screens. entries made on the Alternate Purchase Part Base Data and Alternate Purchase Part Base Date screens copy there information back to the Master Parts TabI am trying to determine the business process.I have not seen where any entries on the Alternate Purchase Part Base Data and Alternate Purchase Part Base Date screens effect Customer Orders or Purchase Orders. What am I missing here… any info would be appreciated.
Does anyone know if a document attachment in IFS can be added to a report or automated email? Here is our situation, but the applications are many. We have approval drawings attached to parts in IFS. If the part is entered on a Business Opportunity or Customer Order, we want that approval drawing as part of the Quotation Document generated by the Business Op or the Order Acknowledgement. btw - we are on Apps 10.
