I’ve noticed alot of users triggering the following error in our mobile error run log It states: Error: EXCEPTION Message: Person ID passed in is not valid or is not a mobile user. ... Stack Trace: at Metrix.BusinessServer.BusinessPolicies.SharedTablesComponent.MobileManager.PerformReplicationForTable(String tableNameIn, String personIdIn) Message:PerformReplicationForTable(table:STOCK_SERIAL_ID) Any idea what this is? I know it says not a mobile user but i can’t tell what they’re doing to get this error Happens all day but no one is getting errors on screen, this is just on this end
Someone triggered a stock count for our entire list of van stock and warehouse. the list continues to generate as we delete each run due to the amount of places we have. i thought deleting the run log would stop it but it did not. Is there anyway to stop this process from continuing?
Not sure what triggered this but all the lights in the monitor schedule screen have turned red. If i click Run Now they will run and generate the appropriate results. However we need these to run automatically as scheduled.Made sure all appropriate services were running on the server. The “Next Run” shows as yesterday Appreciate the help!
Has anyone integrated a form of barcode scanning within IFS platforms ?Particularly, we are looking to barcode our inventory and be able to scan that into our system to add as a part usage or part need for shippingAlso, adding it to the mobile platform so that the user can scan the part for it to be added to the task. i did find some limited documentation on using scan it and the account manager but not clear with these instructions how it all comes together https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/040_administration/415_touch_apps/090_touch_apps/60_scan_it/default.htm
The view, MMA_REQUEST_HISTORY_VIEW is what controls the product history on Customer records in FSM Mobile. The issue with how this is set up is that if there are multiple tasks on a request, it only shows notes for the first task # and nothing after that. As a business that uses multiple tasks this effects on mobile users. Does anyone have a work around to this ? or have they modified these screens to accommodate this?
We see mass updates happening all day for 1 record at a time. Based on the user i can have a guess at what its updating but is there anyway to verify exactly what it updated? i looked up the run log ID in the server logs without any results. tried to pinpoint the time in the log but that didnt show me much either.
FSM 5.7 mobile users upload attachments, they are showing under the task. However there are some exceptions that when trying to access the attachment, turns out its not there and not savedThe follow error will populate( see below)checked the folder for attachments and can confirm it does not exist. How is this happening and is there any way to stop it? haven't been able to re-create it unfortunately
quick context: we have FSM & NAV integrated within each other. Somehow, our the sequence of contacts stopped matching the last sequence in FSM is 55912 and NAV is 52614. So when NAV is making a contact that clashes with FSM, its overwriting tons of information, including place records. Anyways, is there a way to change where the series continues from? can i have it jump up to 60,000 for example on the next entry? right now when i click new it goes to 52767 (which is 3000 less than the last record)
this is running FSM 5.7it seems that the service history for request and tasks is delayed in getting to the mobile platformi already checked the sync rules and it happens as a BATCH ALL at 9 PM every night. Nothing has been touched from the OOTB integration. For example i am looking at a request that was closed 10 days ago yet still doesn't show on the mobile platform. However when i initialize the history is immediately there. How can i fix this so that it shows up at least on the daily sync?

Generating our quarterly contracts. using the contract PM request generation in Contracts Manager It’s stuck in processing and wont actually generate any of them. Checked the server log and found the follow message: Message: PerformContractPMRequestGeneration. This row has been removed from a table and does not have any data. BeginEdit() will allow creation of new data in this row. Not sure what is stopping it based off this error @Mike The FSM TechnoGeek - any idea what this is pointing to?
full context: were looking at giving the users the ability to create a request from the place screen. This would either be by clicking a button that redirects them to the request screen or having a tab on the lower pane that will have the new request related fields. My question is, how can i auto-populate the “Place ID” on the Request, to that of the Place record they’re currently displaying? I wouldn't think a business rule would do this so perhaps a new button with a xml message in it? Not sure what that would look like to reference to the current place record but hoping i can be helped here.
Looking to create a business rule when a request is deleted. Deleting the request also deletes the associated request event data so once it is gone i cannot retrieve it.i attempted to make a rule that activates both before and after delete but none have been successful
Tasks with a future SLA Our SLA’s are generated based on the plan start date. But if the plan start date is greater than 31 days, these tasks do not go into PSO.They only go into PSO when the SLA is within the next 31 days. Is there a way to include Sla’s greater than 31 days? This is used for our preventative maintenance tasks that are booked months in advance
The Quote module, Out of the box, seems to create a request once the Quote has been approved. It only creates a request. Is there a method that already exists to have it auto create the task as well?Ideally would like to not carry over everythingFor example, if there is labour on the quote, we dont want labour on the task (in the event the user takes longer)
How does this function work ? it is updated in the part record and when its used on a part need, it automatically goes to the new replacement part (sometimes if you’re using the updated part it goes back to the old part)is this a business rule or out of the box? i want to apply this practice to the quote module so the parts in the quote module are being updated as well but i cant find this.
Trying to search for all planned start dates that are 14 days old. I can search using >TODAY but cant find out what other functions i could use to search for dates without actually using dates. Can’t use “Yesterday” or “Last Week” if i do try one of those i get the following value
I am looking to create a value business rule that populates a day that is 30 days after the created_dttm in FSM. i looked at the cheatsheet but was unable to figure out what expression is required. I tried to do DATEADD but that didn’t work.New to using expressions so any help is appreciatedthanks!
