Hey Community,I’d like your feedback on something. The community has been busy the last couple years. We currently have over 20k topics on the site. And while we work to make sure everyone gets an answer, some topics aren’t replied to. Maybe the query is really complex and requires more time than community members had. Or maybe it was a member looking for an opinion, rather than a how-to, and there wasn’t a similar situation to share. In any case, we have just over 1000 topics with no replies. We have members who answer regularly and we reach out to occasional contributors to answer specific posts, but when I ask people to help, I want to make the best use of their time.So my thought is, if you asked a question 6 months ago and didn’t get a reply, you probably aren’t still waiting on an answer. How would you feel about me moving any questions that are 6+ months old into an archive? They would be closed - not appearing in the search results and not circulated among staff to find an answe

Bringing IFS Customers TogetherIFS user groups are independently run organizations across the globe that gather IFS customers together for best practice sharing, joint discussions and events. The user groups function as a sounding board for IFS when developing products and are one of our most important sources of information regarding customer sentiment. For customers, joining a user group is a unique chance to meet with peers in the industry to discuss common challenges, exchange processes and ultimately, learn from one another.Where Are They Located? There are active user groups running in Scandinavia, UK and Ireland, USA, Benelux and Japan. They all operate in different ways – some with IFS assistance and others completely stand-alone – but all serve an important function as a link between IFS and the global customer base. How Do I Get Involved? If you are interested in understanding more about your local IFS user group, please visit their website directly or contact your local IFS re

There are several questions within the community where a link that begins with wit.ifsworld.com or docs.ifs.com has been offered as part of the solution. But when members click that link, they’ve been unable to login to see the content - even if they’re a customer or partner. Here’s why - and how you can access the same content, in your own IFS instance: wit.ifsworld.com is an IFS internal system and is not intended for non-employees. UPDATE* - docs.ifs.com is now public (Aug 2020) Here’s how the wit links can be tweaked to work for you:Replace wit.ifsworld.com with your server info at the beginning of the URL. Example:Apps 9Navigate to landing page e.g. http://SERVER_URL:PORT/ifsdoc/f1doc/ Copy the wit/docs-link from ‘Foundation1’ and paste after your server URL e.g. https://wit.ifsworld.com/f1docs/apps9upd15/Foundation1/040_administration/255_business_intelligence/040_BI_Analysis_Package/300_BIAnapacConfigLookup.htm becomes http://SERVER_URL:PORT /ifsdoc/f1doc/Foundation1/040_adminis
