I’m trying to setup basic data for Supplier Invoice > Invoice Workflow Basic Data. The Authorization Role is giving me trouble. If I try to populate this screen, I get nothing. The + is not active so I can’t add new records. Several of the other basic data elements require you to select a role, but of course that LOV is empty. The help says there are no prerequisites for Authorization Role. How can I get Roles setup? We are on Apps 10 UPD 15
How do we get new users setup to access this IFS Community?
For a couple recent projects, we have made Projections to interact with IFS through REST calls. In other words we don’t have to connect to the database to call their APIs. At the moment it has been very basic. However, I could see in the future where we want to have logic on some of these projections. What options do we have when it comes to the “IFS Customization layer”? At one point I thought it was going to be IFS Developer Studio that would allow you access to integrate with the APIs since they have the “Core” logic. If that is not going to be a choice, we will want to learn what best practice is when it comes to needing custom database logic to use these Projections. This could become extremely important as we start converting programs to be used with Aurena.
Has anyone created an integration between IFS and Tekla? If so, I’d be interested in starting a discussion. What is your integration doing? What issues did you run into? Any advice for someone just embarking on this project?
Can anyone explain the purpose of posting control PRJC1 and PRJC2? These are showing up with Expense Sheets that have a project activity sequence posted. We threw something in there so they wash each other out (to get rid of the errors), but would like to understand what they should really be doing.
When changing an equipment object to Out of Operation, is there any way to automate obsoleting the PM’s actions associated with the object? Or to at least be warned that PM Actions are still active?
Is it possible to turn off purchase order change orders so a change order is never required, regardless of authorization rules?
We are looking for a way to limit access to confidential PO’s. Is there anything other than company and site that can drive security roles? Maybe a PO type or group?
