We have an Excel migration job to append or update purchase price list records. The method we use is PURCHASE_QUANTITY_PRICE_API, with New and Modify checked. In this method there are columns for a rental indicator, with flags MI (Mandatory Insert) When we leave the Default Value for these fields empty, the job runs into an error because the column is mandatory. When we put a default value like above the inserts run fine, but on modifying an existing record the response is: “Field [RENTAL] in Purchase Quantity Price may not be modified.” How can we work around this?Is it for example possible to check the existance of the record in the SOURCE_COLUMN?
In IFS 10.14 we try to connect an Employee to a Resource / Person record via a REST call to ResourceDetailsHandling.svc/ResourceSet(ResourceSeq=<resourceSeq>)/ResourceConnectionEmployeeArray,According to the API documentation the field ResourceConnectionSeq is required in the payload. The problem is that that value should be created by this API, and does not exist until the call has been completed. In IEE RESOURCE_CONNECTION_API the function Get_Next_Sequence___ appears to handle the increment of the sequence number. However, offering an empty value to the payload (assuming IFS will create one) results in an error. Offering a numeric value creates the record with that passed numeric value as ResourceConnectionSeq, but of course carries the risk of duplicates. The documentation does not give any clarityAny help would be appreciated.Regards, Reinier
I want to setup a migration job (in IFS 10 update 11) to update a Custom Persistent Field on the Inventory Part.I read – and followed - the recommendations in Topic https://community.ifs.com/framework-experience-infrastructure-cloud-integration-dev-tools-50/updating-custom-field-via-script-1728 and everything seems OK, but the record is not updated. Set up a Jobof type MIGRATE_SOURCE_DATA, with Source Name INVENTORY_PART_CFV and - for testing purposes - scoped to one PartNo (which exists and is manually updatable – checked) Rule ADDOBJID is set to Inactive: Method list is as follows with a call to INVENTORY_PART_CFP.CF_Modify__I did a debug of a manual update, which gives me the following information:DECLARE -- p0 -> __lsResult p0_ VARCHAR2(32000) := NULL; -- p1 -> __sObjid p1_ VARCHAR2(32000) := 'AAAWZEAAGAAAKNLAAA'; -- p2 -> __g_Bind.s[0] p2_ VARCHAR2(32000) := 'CF$_C_DELIVERY_ADDRESS'||chr(31)||'CD6ECD1F20B5485CB11B55F6B8FF4E3D'||chr(30); -- p3 -> __lsAttr
We intend to set up permission sets, based on "need to know/use" Aurena projections. For that I want to filter the Projections (and underlying actions), on either:- existence in the Scope Tool process model- actual usage during a certain period of time As I understood, the Scope Tool just contains relations to IEE presentation objects, and, according to https://community.ifs.com/framework-experience-infrastructure-cloud-integration-dev-tools-50/basic-data-tracker-with-link-to-aurena-page-11124 there is no relation between Aurena pages and IEE presentation objects. So option 1 seems to be difficult. Has anyone a suggestion?Regards, Reinier
I'm trying to remove records from Routing Operations (and other tables) via a Migration Job, with an CSV file as input. Normally i use the Remove__ method, based on an SQL statement on the table from which the records should be removed. This Remove__ method however requires a value for the Objkey and ObjVersion attribute. When using a CSV input, I can search for the Rowkey via the Function Get_Rowkey, but I cannot find a way to return the RowVersion based on either the Rowkey, or the other key values. Or is there an other approach to solve this ?
When entering text fields (like Part numbers) using the numeric keypad, the dot is shown as a comma. The regional and keyboard settings in Windows are set to keyboard layout en-US, which in every other application results in a dot. Changing regional settings or numeric format in the IFS options gives no result. Is there a way to influence the behavior of this?
