Hi all, In IFS10 UPD4 I have developed an automated process to take an authorised Purchase Requisition, convert it to a Purchase Order, release it and then email the requisitioner with the order details. I would like to attach a PDF copy of the PO (or send one from another Event Action) but have not managed to figure out how to do it. I have an Event configured against the PURCHASE_ORDER_TAB table that triggers when the PO is Released and then an Event Action E-mail to inform the requisitioner, but there are no Event linked attachments available to attach. Does anyone know how to code the printing and emailing functionality? Thanks in advance, Ged Pierce.
Hi all, We have been working with IFS on this issue for several days but without success, and I am losing faith. I have asked for escalation but in the meantime, I wonder if anyone has ideas on what is going on here. Issues: If we try to Download All Packages, we see the first error We see errors 2 and 3 shown below with any Employee/Person form This issue occurs on our Live, Test and Dev instances (Live and Test/Dev are on different physical servers) We do not know exactly when the issue occurred as we do not add new employees often Attempted Fixes: Used F1Mage.exe to recreate signed application Reconfigured server Restored to backup of “instance” Uninstalled .NET update and restarted servers Deleted “C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0” folder Run “rundll32 dfshim CleanOnlineAppCache” on client PC Nothing works! Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Hi all, I have configured SSO according to: /ifsdoc/f1doc/foundation1/040_administration/210_security/015_authentication/030_configure_ADFS/default.htm /ifsdoc/f1doc/foundation1/040_administration/210_security/010_users/100_active_directory_sync/default.htm /ifsdoc/f1doc/foundation1/040_administration/210_security/015_authentication/060_SSO_behaviour/default.htm ...and also configured ADFS on Windows 2016 (successfully logging on using Chrome, IE11 and Edge). But when I try to log on using SSO, I see error “Object reference not set to an instance of an object”. Full error details are: Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Unexpected error while calling server method AccessPlsql/Invoke at Ifs.Fnd.AccessProvider.FndConnection.InvokeInternal(Object requestBody, Object responseBody, String intface, String operation, FndRequestContext requestContext, FndManualDecisionCollection decisions, Boolean forcedSync, Boolean integrationGateway) at Ifs.Fnd.AccessProvider.FndConnection.InvokeInternal(Stri
Hi all, We are trying to send supplier remittances by email but they are not going out. We have configured comm methods, AP Supplier Contact, message setup. I can’t find much in the help file so does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Ged.
Hi all, Can anyone give me a clue as to what this error message is pointing at? It is in response to a LoadInboxMessage process: XMLPARSE_NAME:View name mismatch: SCHEDULES != IN_MESSAGE_REQUEST at [2:1] I have already submitted a question here about the source of the message but as EDI questions get very few responses, if any, I thought I’d see if anyone can decipher the error message instead, so I apologise for the duplicate posting. Thanks.
Hi all. I anyone using Handling Units and DESADV EDI? We need to configure a Packing Instruction that has a pallet/base and a cover/lid (with multiple smaller handling units stacked in between). We have added the lid as an Accessory in the Packing Instruction but it does not show up in the DESADV. How should we incorporate it? As a handling unit level along with the base? Are Handling Unit Accessories for internal use only? Thanks in advance. Ged P.
Hi all, When using an API such as Purchase_Order_API.User_Requisition_Line_To_Order(), the first 3 attributes are the newly created Order_No, Line_No and Release_No - but how do I capture them for subsequent use in the same code block? Thanks in advance, Ged.
Hi all, I am trying to configure a new inbound EDI process to receive customer orders into our IFS 10 UPD 4 setup after being converted from VDA 4905/4915 to EDIFACT DELSCH XML. The first part of the process works ok (ReceiveCustomerSchedule) but the second part fails (LoadInboxMessage). The error text is: XMLPARSE_NAME:View name mismatch: SCHEDULES != IN_MESSAGE_REQUEST at [2:1] Caused by: ifs.fnd.record.serialization.FndXmlRecordParser$ViewNameMismatchException: XMLPARSE_NAME:View name mismatch: SCHEDULES != IN_MESSAGE_REQUEST at [2:1] I have configured: [Our ID at Customer] in Customer Add DELSCH config to Message Setup in Customer Configured Routing Rules - Inbound Can anyone give any pointers as to what “View name mismatch: SCHEDULES != IN_MESSAGE_REQUEST” might refer to? Thanks in advance.
Hi all, I am seeing an error message when using an Event Action to generate an Application Message output in IFS 10. When I try to carry out the action that triggers the event (i.e. changing the status of a Shop Order), I get the error shown below (“Element denoted by path [$EVENT_RECORD$] not found”). If I disable the Event Action, I can change the Shop Order successfully. Any ideas? The Event process is set up as follows: 1. Create an Event with ID SHOP_ORDER_STATUS_CHANGE: 2. Create Event Action of type Application Message: 3. Create a Routing Rule linked to SHOP_ORDER_STATUS_CHANGE: Am I missing anything? Many thanks, Ged.
