Prepayment Based Invoice: There should be no order lines or charge lines with multiple tax codes

In the F1 helptext for Prepayment Based Invoice, we find below, But still, we can create a Prepayment Invoice for the CO. Yet when we print the invoice report, we notice some incorrect tax calculations. Invoice lines look like below,So maybe we are facing this tax calculation issue due to above mentioned prerequisite, but why?What is the idea behind above highlighted prerequisite on a functional stand point?

IFS standard invoicing (with rounding) and PEPPOL

Raising this question in IFS Community based on a customer concern regarding PEPPOL. IFS standard Customer Invoice XMLs are rejected in PEPPOL e-invoicing whenever there is a Currency Rounding factor defined in IFS.(Rounding factor in Invoice Information per currency window)This happens because, currently rounding is handled in a separate invoice line in the XML which is not in conform with EHF format. According to our customer, this should be handled in a separate tag in the XML, not a separate line. Standard XML formatDue to this issue, our customer is either sending the invoices in mail or removes the rounding.I would like to know whether there are more IFS customers who face this challenge in their day-to-day operations.Thank you.

Why 'Define Cost' in Count per Inventory Part does not work for Standard Cost parts?

Hi All,For a particular scenario, we want to COUNT-IN a part with a new Unit Cost. This part has been in the inventory before, so the previous Unit Cost is derived. Yes. we have given the option of ‘Define cost’ in the line level, but this can be enabled only when the inventory valuation is FIFO, LIFO or Weighted Average.Our part has, Standard Cost > Cost per serial in Cost control.On what reasons this functionality is not enabled for Standard Cost?Thanks.

Suggest a better way to receive multiple RMA lines

One of the customers have an RMA with 100 different lines. They are not connected to a CO, but they want to return all of these lines to one inventory location under one Lot/Batch. When we select multiple RMA lines from RM lines tab and RMB > Receive Parts… we get the lines like below, So, users need to select the RMA line by the drop down for 100 times and need to enter the Qty to Return. This is taking a lot of time and inconvenient. Is there any easier way which they can return these 100 different RMA lines?Thank you :)

An XML file to create an External Fiscal Load with PO info - Brazil localization

Sender ID missing in Receipt (PO)

Hi!A user has created some Distribution Orders, without defining the inter-site Message Setup for internal supplier and internal customer. Due to this, Sender ID in PO Receipt is missing. Now, when user is trying to Register Inspection Results > he/she receives the error, This error is triggered because ‘Sender ID’ is missing. New DO > Receipts are working fine because we have defined Message Defaults and Sender ID is in place. But there are some old Receipts created without Sender ID due to above said issue, and needs to be inspected.Is there anyway which we can update the Sender ID or take a workaround instead of going for a data repair? (maybe by resending some message?) Thank you!

Some inventory transactions does not Transfer

Hi!I have noticed in some instances that, when we execute Transfer Inventory Transactions job for a site, some transactions created during the same day does not get transferred.I know this is not any issue but the system behavior due to some reasons, which I am not really clear of.In the technical aspect I have heard this is caused due to truncating dates when the job is executed. And in the functional aspect, I think this has some reason with deciding the actual costs for the day before they are being transferred. Please help to clarify this.Thanks!

Attribute string does not update in Register Direct Delivery

For this issue, you won’t be able to find an explicit patch from RnD. But patch 152159 resolves the issue even though the bug description identifies something else.Test case:A- Using the Register Direct Delivery window, user enters delivery of partial qty or few lines out of multiple lines. For example: user enters 1.4 qty in one line out of many lines shown (queried to) in Register Direct Delivery window B- After that, staying in the Register Direct Delivery window (same session, window not refreshed), user now enters 2 qty in a different line and conduct register delivery. Now when you check the Purchase Order Receipts, Purch Arrived Qty in scenario B, it would be 1.4 not 2 (does not have any conversion) which is incorrect. This happens because below Attribute String does not updates when you are performing B, so that it takes the values of A.This is a critical issue and if the PO is invoiced and authorized, impact would be high.

Early Report expiration causes Customer Invoices with Errors

I have noticed and been involved with multiple cases of multiple APP10 customers on Customer Invoice with send error “ORA-20105: Archive.KEYERR: Report with key [XXXXX] does not exist”.The cause for this was early expiration of CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP report within one day. A user case: If a customer order has, for example not enough information on the Order Addresses/single occurrence and being invoiced by the Coordinator. Due to not enough information, Invoice is in Error, so the Coordinator changes and add enough info and save. When the user run the rerun functionality and process the invoice, receives the error message. We have been noticed the same issue with INSTANT_INVOICE_REP too.So that, I suggest you to check Report Expiration in Report Archive > Result Keys. If there is no any business reason behind early expiration dates, please revisit to adjust them accordingly.To change Life Time of any report please refer:
