Hi Experts,We are in the middle of an upgrade test from 22R2SU3 to 23R2SU3. When I try to add a person resource demand line (Prepare work order\work task\tab resources) with a resource id (if I create a demand without a resource id no issue, even if I add an allocation for such demand no issue ) I get below error.I am not using request management functionality (only the previous work order flow), hence why would I asked to register a service site setting ?.Is this a bug or have I miss any setup.Can some one advise please ?Thank you,RoshanP.S:

Hi Experts,In Above app when we generate service report, we can see all the reporting details including Tech/Cust signatures, which is great. However, one of our IFS customers who started to use ServiceEng app, has their own customers do not sign, until they see the invoicing amounts, after technician do the service (That is their normal practice). As we know we don’t have sales information in this app, we cannot display sales amounts in the service report.I wonder how such scenarios are mapped who uses ServiceEng app without any modifications? Any thoughts or have similar experience pls share.Thank you,Roshan
Hi Experts,I have run into an issue when I check my stock in above app. I can still see parts which are blocked by availability control (NOT ORDER ISSUE) in my stock. If I issue them in device I get a fail transaction. My question is how did I get these parts sync to my device ?. I checked the default where clause of the above entity and I can see it clearly block parts with NOT ORDER ISSUE.Can someone please let me know where I have gone wrong? I tried to check tas configuration panel, but there I cannot even see serviceeng app, I can only see old app mWorkOrder. Is there a way to override default where clause in our system which I could not figure out yet ?Thank you in advance for your support!Roshan

Hi Team,Hope I am reaching the correct team, else pls move this to correct product area.I have customer going to map their quality process in Aps10. Basically they use NCR and CAPA. In their previous application, they managed to map the containment actions also within NCR\CAPA flow. What is meant by containment is that the actions they take to contain the current situation after a customer reports a Nonconformance. Such as Replace the defected part/object or isolate it.I could not find any place in IFS NCR or CAPA that I can map this. Has someone come up this scenario and handled?. Can I consider this also as a Disposition action ?. Have I missed anything. Your ideas highly appreciated.Regards,Roshan
Hi Team,I tried to hide ‘Purchase order receipts’ item from the home page using page designer. But it still appear. I have refreshed server catch and client catch as well and init the device after publishing this changes. Also, I select this ‘Visible’ check box first and saved, then unselect and saved published, still no luck.Is this a limitation that we cannot hide home page items using page designer for apps ? Hi Team,I get below error when trying to transfer a work task to a mobile user (for all users), in sync task logs. Hi All,I have a purchase part (No inventory part connected) with a connection to non-inventory sales part. If I create a purchase requisition for this part in a work task (connected to a customer) and process it until receipt the purchase order, I do not get sales part auto populate in the sales tab in the work task(screen shot attached). This is tested in one of the IFS cloud demo environments also (22.R2) and can recreate this issue there as well.Looks like a bug. Any information/thoughts about this pls ?. Is there a workaround for this scenario other than adding the sales part manually?Thank you,Roshan

Hi All,I have configured the ‘Register arrival’ process, using subsequent value against SOURCE_REF1. Now, it loops until all the parts registered in the Purchase order (PO) !. But the problem is, if I select List on the field ‘SOURCE_REF1’ (or scan), I do not see the next Purchase order. Therefore, I have to go back to main menu and call register arrival, in order to process the next PO. Is there a way I can pick the next PO, without going back to main menu. I was wondering if there is a way to overcome this by using ‘Subsequent Control data Item’ or ‘Subsequent Control feedback Item’, if yes does anybody know what values I should use ? or any other alternative option pls (without using loop option).Thank you,Roshan
Hi,I have generated IFS barcodes for parts, when registering arrival. If I use a non-track part (not serial or lot track) with say quantity 100, I get 100 barcodes generated (screen shot attached), for the same part. I can understand why ifs have done this, but I wonder if there is a way to control this, like a system parameter or some other configuration, so that system generates one barcode for a part, ignoring quantity?. Because in my mapping, quantity referred to a length (how many meters in a part)Anyone has any thoughts or some other experience (without customizations and only by using IFS generated barcodes)?Thank you,Roshan
Hi All,In IFS system (cloud, even exist in Apps10), we can generate labels for handling units (HU). We have the option to generate label for HU content, ‘print handling unit content label’. If we generate this printout, we get a barcode displayed in this printout, but if we read it, it still gives only the HU id. It does not give any information about its content. I test this with a wadaco process (Unattached Part from Handling Unit), that is by reading HU id, it does not fetch the part details even if I configure parts to fetch automatically. Then I generated SSCC code for this handling unit (in the printout I get a separate barcode for SSCC No) and re-configured the wadaco process to fetch values from SSCC No, still it only fetches the HU id but not its content (part details). I have to enter part by part into the system via wadaco.I wonder if my expectations are too much from this barcode? is it not designed to give content details? Can’t I use SSCC number? Would that not contain i
Hi,I get below error when a project forecast is trying to approve. The data i created is in Reg Test lkp.Is this a known issue. Why i suspect this as a bug is that, the error has no connection with what i do. I am using a simple approval template (with only one step) and the forecast, or the approval template is not connected to any document. Error says something about a Signature (?)If i am wrong pls let me know how should i proceed.Above can recreate just by getting a forecast in state 'Approval in Progress’ and then try to execute the approval step in the template and observe the error.Thank you,Roshan
Hi Community,I am trying to configure WADACO in a 22R1 fresh installation. All the basic configurations are done and I can get moving with certain process. However, process ‘Register Arrival’, not appear to process. Even it is in released state and allow company/sites and all users. I have tried ‘Process part on transport task ’ and ‘Process shipment’ with similar setup and those appear to process(screen shot below). I am using embedded client in the application (not any mobile clients yet).Has some one seen this behavior before? or any other tips to get rid of this problem? could this be a permission issue?
