Hi All,How do we consistently monitor the health of SFTP Readers and Senders?Assume SFTP Reader or Sender does not have any access issues and can access the server endpoints.However, for some reason if SFTP Reader /Sender starts to not to pick up/send files, how do we monitor them quickly?Is it always via Application Messages? In this scenario what can be the states of Application Messages?For SFTP Reader, we can also use ‘Connect Reader Queue’ but there should be a way to consistently monitor both SFTP Reader and Sender health.Checking logs is not a solution as this is not about debugging any issues but monitoring the health frequently.

Note that every call may not be successful owing to errors raised from IFS but we need to monitor each and every call irrespective of their status: successful or unsuccessful.
Hi All,How do you distribute a lobby as a home page to a User Group efficiently?Is there any proper way to do this efficiently instead of trying to update the profile manually for each user or any other workarounds that take time?In this scenario there can be several user groups and users count can be more than 1000 and this needs to be done for more than 4 environments.I do not think this can be achieved by using ‘Configuration Context’.In Apps10, it was possible to do this efficiently using the ‘Base Profile’.

Hi All,When we were in 22R2, we were told by IFS Support that it would be possible to download IFS Connect logs from 23R1 onwards.Having upgraded to 23R1, I could not see a way of downloading IFS Connect logs.Does anyone know any updates on this?It is pain to request this from IFS Support. We have requested this from IFS Support on 23/08/2023 as a Priority 2 request but still waiting.At least 2 weeks lead time for checking logs is not acceptable. We need to investigate ASAP why our SFTP Reader is not working.Instead, I would like to download this from Build Place so that we do not need to wait for IFS Support.ThanksGaSoGB

I have a custom REST API(POST) for an integration process.In this process, I need to pass a Post Code and create a location and retrieve Map Position (latitude/longitude).This can be done using standard method Location_Party_Address_API.Create_Location_With_Address(). Above method again calls a method Map_Position_API.Retrieve_Map_Position() and it has a call to an external REST API.Problem here is, when I call my custom REST API, other external REST API (Geocode Request Sender) executes in a separate session and my custom REST API call cannot see the data created from Map_Position_API.Retrieve_Map_Position().Just after the POST, it commits Map Positions into map_position_tab Do we have any other core methods/workaround where it is possible to create a location in IFS and retrieve Map Position latitude/longitude in one go?
Hi All,Currently it is not possible to publish API Explorer documentation in internal customer documentation locations. For example ‘Confluence’.Customer does not like to login to IFS Environments and check API documentation but would like to publish API Documentation related to their business processes with their internal design documents in their own locations so that they can keep everything in one place.Are there any plans to build this so that customers will be able to Copy/Publish API Documentation related to Core/Cust REST APIs inside third party documentation tools.

Hi All,Assume we have a custom REST API (POST) called by a third party.Is there a way to generate https 4xx error codes for validations OR is it always 5xx for Business Validations.If IFS Business Logic raises an error using Error_Sys.Record_General, then it will be a 500 error (ORA-20110: ).Third party system who calls IFS Custom API prefers to have 4xx errors for business validations rather then 5xx errors.

Hi All,I have introduced a new custom tile to IFS MWO Service via a modification.I would like to position this tile as the last tile of the page but I cannot.Tried with sortorder = 9 and sortorder = 15 but looks like FW does not care about sortorder in the Navigator entry and it positions the tile as fifth tile.Any thoughts on how to change this tile position?

Hi All, I am trying to test Push Notifications from the application(ServiceEngApp - Windows) as well as using Mobile_Push_SYS.Send_Notification.I can see Push Notifications from Aurena User Log.However, I cannot see any Push Notifications from the mWO app.Notification Parameters have default values.Any thoughts?Please refer attachments for further info.
