No Azure option on latest version of Scan-it

Hi We are on version 24.2.1118.0 for Scan-It on Android, and we no longer have the Azure login button. There seems to be no way to fully log out right back to the initial login screen, where it gives the option of Azure or user/password. It asks to re-authenticate, suggesting someone is already logged in. Has something changed in this latest version? I can recreate this on the Windows app although it is slightly different. If I open the scan it app, it shows me a username that isn’t me (and hasn’t been signed into this PC), it gives me the option for Disconnect or Log in. If I log in, it says I have 2 attempts left. If I disconnect, it takes me back to the page with the URL in. I then click connect it brings up the Azure option and the Log In option. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Quotation date only populates after print preview

HiI am wondering if we are the only ones with this issue.In order for the quotation date to populate on a sales quotation, we have to print preview the quotation, then close the preview, then email it via ifs.The date does not populate if we simply email the quote.This is a lot of unnecessary extra clicks for no reason.Ifs Cloud 22.2.8Thanks

Scan-It vs Wadaco - Speed differences

HiOur stores people are finding that Wadaco is much faster than Scan-it.Wadaco accepts text almost instantly, whereas Scan-It thinks about it for 1-2 seconds before processing the field.Does anyone else experience this or have any suggestions how to get the speed faster?The only reason we need to use Scan-It is because it provides audible feedback, so when the stores people are scanning it gets a good noise for a correct scan and a ‘bad’ noise for an error.Thanks

Sales Quotation Date on Email

Hi All There is some quite strange functionality in IFS Sales Quotations where the Quotation Date is only populated when you Release a quotation AND Print it (to screen or printer). It is very strange that it doesn’t have the same functionality when you Email it (without print previewing). Is this the same for everyone else, or is it an issue/bug in our version (22.2.8)? Thanks

IFS page unresponsive for one user in Chrome

Hi All We are on 22.2.8. We have 1 user (out of 60+) who keeps getting ‘Page Unresponsive’ in Chrome. We have checked the user setup in IFS/Windows and its identical to colleagues. We have tested on a different PC, we have increased resources on his existing PC, we have tried all sorts and it still happens to him. Other than the next step which is for us to set up a separate/new user for him to test. We are running out of ideas so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Selling single item with different pack quantities

Hi AllI am new here and new to IFS. We have a requirement where a customer might buy e.g. 18x PARTAWe actually stock PARTA in bags of 1, 5 and 10 for ease of picking/packing/handling.As far as the customer is concerned they are buying 18x PARTA, however in the background we know the most effective way of picking/packing these parts is 1x BAG OF 10, 1x BAG OF 5 and 3x BAG OF 1.We operate with price breaks, so 1-5 of PARTA would be £x, 6-10 would be £y and 11+ would be £z. Option 1In an ideal world we would just add 18x PARTA onto the customer order, and the stores would be told to pick/pack 1x BAG OF 10, 1x BAG OF 5 and 3x BAG OF 1.This means that the price break side of things works correctly. Option 2The other option would be that we add 1x BAG OF 10, 1x BAG OF 5 and 3x BAG OF 1. to the order, but then the price breaks get messed up and the customer ends up paying more for the goods. Does anyone have any thoughts on how we can achieve Option 1? Or any other approaches we could look at

Create New Order/Quote Button

Hello We have had buttons added to the Customers and Sales Specific screens, so that when one customer is selected, a button appears at the top saying ‘Add Quote’ or ‘Add Order’. However, these buttons currently just take you to the Customer Order / Sales Quotation screens and you have to manually create the order/quote. Is there a way that the information for the customer selected on the Customers / Sales Specific screens can be pushed into the Order/Quote entry screens so the information is pre populated? e.g.Go to Customers Search for ‘cust123’ Select the row Add Order/Add Quote buttons appear Click Add Order Takes you to the Customer order screen with a new order opened and ‘cust123’ details populating the orderThanks

Slow Searches for Customers

Hi AllWe are finding that searches for customers and contacts are taking between 1-2 minutes to return the results.Examples:‘Customers - Sales Specific Information’ screen Search on ‘Post/Zip Code’ Results take 1-2 minutes to return ‘Account Contacts’ screen Search for part of a contact name Results take 1-2 minutes to return ‘Customer Order’ screen Click on ‘Customer’ drop down Click ‘Find’ In the slide-out screen, search for full or partial Post/Zip code Results take 1-2 minutes to returnThese times are not acceptable in general but additionally not acceptable when you have a customer on the phone waiting 1-2 minutes before you can even find their account. What can we do to improve the speed? Are others facing the same? Thanks

Updating SSL Certificate - Chrome Extension and Scan It Issue

Hi Last night we updated our SSL certificate as the old one was due to expire. Today, none of the IFS Scan It apps will connect on our Android devices.We have tried everything we can think of and nothing works.If we open Chrome on the Androids it will log in to browser version of IFS with no issues. As a separate but linked issue, since the SSL was updated, when users go to print, they get dozens of random 1 character printers, which actually all spell out an error message saying: Security Error: Requests from ifs-cloud…… are not trusted – certificate mismatching. Please install the Aurena Agent again for this server. The only fix we have found is to disable the chrome extension and re-enable it on each computer. Surely this can’t be the fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

IFS Cloud Modify/customise slide-out screens

Hello We are finding that many of the slide-out screens are lacking fields meaning you can only do half what you want to do from the slide-out then go back to another screen to finish. E.g. If you want to set up a contact on a customer, you have to add the contact on the slide-out which only shows basic fields, then we have to go into the CRM section to complete the setup of the contact which isn’t efficient. We want to add a number of fields to the slide-outs to make things more efficient and user friendly. How can we achieve this? Thanks

Address format (character length)

Hi, In IFS Cloud you are given the option to extend the Address Line characters. However, when you make the change, it doesn’t change the length of Address Line 1 or Address Line 2. Address Line 3-6 get updated accordingly. Does anyone know why this is the case or is it an oversight?What workarounds are there? Thanks

Keeping operations of the same shop order together when scheduling

Hi All We have an interesting issue which we are looking to overcome, so any suggestions are welcome. Background:In our current system (not IFS), we have routes set up like:10 - Setup Machine A machine setter sets up the machine - this will involve running a few parts to make sure the setup is correct. 20 - Approve Setup When the setup has been complete, an inspector comes to make sure he is happy with the product produced in the setup. 30 - Run Machine for Batch An operator will run the machine for the remaining batch. 40 - Inspect An inspector will inspect samples of the batch.All of our operations and setups are timed as we pay a bonus on the operators’ efficiency. Going Forward:In IFS (and any ERP) the above setup causes issues. As it stands, when you schedule eg 10 jobs through the machine for various different shop orders (some might be the same part), it schedules all of the ‘Setup Machine’ operations one after another, all of the ‘Approve Setup’ one after another.In reality, op

Finding a customer when they have the same name

Hi We deal with many wholesaler chains. where they can have 400+ branches throughout the country, all with the same name.In our current system (Dynamics AX) we are able to search for the company name, and then search on e.g. city, post code etc to narrow down our search.There are no screens in IFS (that we can find) that allow you to narrow down your search criteria to allow you to find a specific wholesaler branch.Currently, in IFS we can only search on Name and Country, this means we have to search through 400+ companies until we find the correct branch. Has anyone come across this issue? Did you find a solution? Thanks
