I have created a new page in IFS EE 10 (screen cap below) and I want to navigate to it via an RMB from another screen. However I want it to open a open a new record on the page automatically when it opens. So that the text field “No. Of Labels” just needs a value to be entered (the plus sign has already been clicked) .“Create Window” action type from the RMB won’t work. Is what I want to do possible?Thank you.
Is there a facility in IFS Aurena to send a direct message to a user? It should then be visible in NotifyMe (and the user should be alerted by a ping). I remember using it before but I can’t find it now.
I have a custom menu (called Part ordered on Reqs) on the Requisition Lines tab of the Purchase Requisition screen. When the menu is selected (via RMB) it is supposed to open a new window showing the Purchase Requisition Lines screen but with only the Part No. and Vendor No of the Part No. and Vendor No. that was on the line that was right-clicked.I have a screen cap of the menu below. As you can see I am passing in the Part No. and Vendor No. I am also passing in the condition that the state must be in one of "Released;Planned;Partially Authorized". This condition is not working though.It gives me all lines with all states not just the ones in those states. Can anyone tell me what is wrong?Thanks.
Is it possible to automate the printing process of a Purchase Requisition? Or at least the creation of the pdf? I can capture the output in the debug window when I select RMB-”Print Requisition” on the Requisition screen but there is too much code in the output, I can’t find the block that creates the pdf. I can do it for a Purchase Order but I want to do it for the requisition.
I am using IFS Apps10 and have a problem with Purchase Orders being emailed to the Requisitioner without them requesting it. It appears in the requisitioner’s inbox with the subject “PDF file for Purchase Order report for result key <result key> is ready”When I check the Report Archive it says it was ordered by the Requisitioner but he has not ordered it. There is no custom event or scheduled task triggering it. I think it is occurring when the PO is closed but I am not sure. I don’t think it is occurring for everybody, just this one person and has only started occurring recently. The only way I am aware of that you can receive this mail is if someone sends it manually from the Purchase Order screen by selecting RMB-“Print Order” and then ticking the “Send Email to” box and entering an email address in the text box below that.I can’t see how it can be happening in an automated way., I have checked everywhere. I need to stop it however.
I am trying to add a new Supplier in IFS Apps10 EE but it will not allow me to save the record without entering a value to the combo box in the screen capture attached (Party Type). That is because it is not populating with the list of values in the Enumeration. I can’t see why this is happening, can anyone help. it is not a custom field.
In one (or possibly more; I haven’t checked) of our projects the Planned Cost is not equal to the total of“Total Planned Cost” columns in Misc Parts and Misc No Partplus“Planned Cost” in the Resource tabof the project.I have “Refresh Project Connections” running every night on a schedule (this updates the Planned Costs for each project) . Does this mean it isn’t working properly?
Can anyone tell me how the Costs are calculated on a Work Task? It is zero for some Work Tasks in my IFS when it should not be (see attached). It is only occurring on Cost Type “Personnel” The employees it is happening with have the required privileges. I have tried to debug it but I can’t see where the calculation is made. I am on Apps10.
I am trying to create a custom menu RMB on the Sales Part screen in IFS Apps 8. I want it to go to the Purchase Order Lines screen and pass in a part number as a parameter. I am using the code below which looks OK. If I paste "ifsapf:tbwPurchaseOrderLine?COMPANY=100" into the address bar of IFS it goes to that screen. I have an issue with a custom event in the Customer Order screen in IFS APPS10.“Order Category” is a Custom Field on that screen. I want to:Check that “Order Type” contains “INT” and if it has “INT” check that “Order Category” is not empty and prevent the Order being saved if it is empty.But when I set the custom Event to check what is in “Order Category” it tells me there is no value (because it hasn’t been saved yet). It displays the Order Type but does not have a value for Order Category.I get the Order Category by joining the rowkey of the Order Category table (CUSTOMER_ORDER_CFT) on the Objkey of the Order Type table (CUSTOMER_ORDER). How do I get the event to delay until it has saved the Order Category ? Would a Deffered Call do it?
Is there a way (in Enterprise Explorer version 10) to make a field mandatory on a screen for all users.I want to make a combo-box mandatory in Customer Orders for all users.I know it can be made mandatory by RMB- Properties-Mandatory and then selecting the object from the list but that only does it for the user who is currently logged in. It doesn’t carry across to all profiles. I want to make the field mandatory for every profile. But I don’t want to alter the Base profile or personal profile.Is there a back-end table I can modify it in?
I don’t know what machine is the Print Server for an installation of Enterprise Explorer Apps 10 that I am working on. I looked in System Parameters but it doesn’t tell me. Is there an Oracle command that will tell me this or is it in a back-end table somewhere? I would like to know the IP address of it.Thank you.
I have two questions regarding a lobby element I have in a lobby:On the “IT Manager Lobby” (screencap attached) I want to be able to go directly to the Lobby Element “Users with multiple companies”. At the moment when I click on that Element it opens it in a window but when I copy the url address and paste it into a new blank window it takes me to the Lobby page not that element of the page. I then want toe be able to click on an individual Company in the Lobby Element (i.e. company 100) and have it bring up the number of departments attached to that company. I also want to be able to click on a Department (i.e. UK Contracts). and see what companies are attached to that department. I want to do something similar with UserIDI would appreciate any guidance
I have a problem with a part that is created in IFS by Novacura Flow software. It creates the Inventory part but it is not appearing in Inventory Part in Stock. A user wants to receive it in to a shop order (in the “Inventory Receipt” tab in “Receive Shop Order”; see screen cap below) but it can’t do that unless the part is in the Inventory Part in Stock screen.The one I have in the screen cap below is just one but there are others.Any help would be appreciated thanks.
I have a few questions about "Batch Print Customer Invoices" in IFS 10 EE;How do I email just Customer Invoices (the ones that are in Sales-Invoicing-Customer Invoice) from "Batch Print Customer Invoices"? Under "Advanced" all the options are selected (see my screen cap attached) but do they all have to be selected? What is the difference between "Email" and "Send" in the Print Options? (I only want to email)Also, what do I enter for "Planned Invoice Date Offset" if I only want to send invoices created say within the last to days?Thank you for any replies.
On Customer Orders on our IFS PROD environment, the “Cost” column on Order Lines is being set to zero for materials that are added even though there is a cost present for the material.I can’t tell if it is occurring when the line is added or after that. I haven’t seen it occur myself but it is happening for employees. It is happening randomly and for different materials. There is no custom event or database job that would cause this, I checked.Can anyone guess what this might be?
Hi,I want to find the table that the “Notes” field in “Count Per Inventory Part” is stored in (see below). It is not a custom field, and there is no SQL column for it in the “System Information” panel. The debug window doesn’t tell me where it is coming from, the logical unit does not have anything on it either.Thank you for any replies.
In Apps10, I want to find what value is changed when the user RMB’s on the screen ad selects “Change Company”. It isn’t User_Profile_SYS.Get_Default('COMPANY',<Username>) FROM DUAL because when I change company and execute that in SQL it gives me the company name I changed from, not the one I changed to. I tried to capture it in the Debug window but it doesn’t seem to show it.I need to know the name of the table it is stored in (if it is in fact stored in a table).Thank you for any replies.
I am getting the error attached when I am completing a survey on the MWO app (version 10.15.1365.0).It happens when I move to the next question. The format of the question seems fine, I have compared it with others ones.It is of Type “Numerical” and “Not Dependent”. A number has to be entered and then it should go to the next question.
I need to do a select statement that calls a number of API’s that are not available under the schema that I am logged in under. Basically I have a select that selects from tables and views that I have access to under the login I am using (IFSINFO). But there are some lines that call API’s that are only available under a different login (IFSAPP).If I comment out the lines that call these API’s the select works fine. But if I leave one of them uncommented the select brings back nothing. I have tried logging in as IFSAPP and granting Execute on user IFSINFO to those packages but when I log back in as IFSINFO the select comes back with no rows. It doesn’t give an insufficient privilege error.I am thinking that the API selects from tables/views that IFSINFO does not have the select rights on. Is there a way that execute can be granted to IFSINFO on an API (and at the same time grant privileges' on whatever views or tables that are referenced in that API)?
I am receiving the following error when I RMB on a Customer Order Line and select “Connect to Activity”.The activity I am connecting to is on a Project that is created with the same Order no. as the Customer Order. I have compared the Customer Order with another Customer Order that is connecting successfully and both are identical (same parts on the Order line and the project is the same also) AccountingCodeParts.MISSCODE: The value I100453 used for the code part Project is either missing, is a budget/planning code part value or has invalid time interval Where “I100453” is the Customer Order number and also the Project ID that I am trying to connect to.Thank you for any replies.

I want to call a function from a Deferred_Call in a custom event. No issue with that I hear you say but the function returns a number variable. I want to then store that variable in the custom event and display it back to the user.So I want to do something like below where My_API.getcount is passed in a value in “attr” and then does a count with that value and returns what it findsTransaction_SYS.Deferred_Call(job_id_, 'My_API.getcount', 'PARAMETER', attr_, 'Return count');I want to then assign what it returns to a variable (let’s call it “numvar” )and display that to the user in a warning message box like below.Client_SYS.Add_Info('PurchaseRequisition', 'WARNREQ: Warning:the number is ' || numvar);I don’t think this is possible?
