Hello experts,We upgraded to IFS10 UPD13 at the end of April 2022. In IFS 9 UPD17 we could use CTRL+F9 to view the history log in the window project transactions. After the upgrade we are no able to use CTRL+F9 in this window. Hello experts,Please see screenshots below. We are able to use conditions in a Data Source type SQL. (first screenshot). We are on IFS10 UPD13.Could you please confirm that this is not possible in a Data Source type Info Source (second screenshot) ?I wanted to insert a new Lobby Element using the Info Source BUT I cannot pass the parameters in the Lobby page (Project ID and Sub-Project ID) because I cannot setup a condition in the new info source.I hope this makes sense.Many thanksMiguel
Hi experts,Please check out the screenshot below (IFS10/UPD13)I thought I could use the PERSON_INFO_LOV to select a person from this table.I have not done this before in this screen and I just want to make sure I am doing the right thing.We have cross-company reporting lines that often create problems for automatic reports. Hi,We have implemented SSO with IFS 10 (UPD13). Go live date was the 25th of April this year.Every time users want to login they click in an IFS shortcut in their desktop and then the Microsoft office pop up message appears asking them to pick up an account (please see screenshot below).Do you know if there is anyway to avoid this Microsoft pop up windows to appear, so that users get straight away into IFS?Many thanksMiguel

Hi,We have gone live with IFS10 today (UPD13).Is it possible that the option Send To (mail recipient as Link) have been removed from the Project Transactions windows in IFS10 (please see screenshot below)? Hi,Please see screenshot below. Could you please confirm that the LINKS element does not include a next page functionality?As you can see in the screenshots the lobby element presented in the lobby is not showing the next page functionality. I have included 9 links in the definition of the Element and only 6 links are shown.So the user is not aware that there is more document linked to this element because the further pages display is not shown in the bottom right corner of the element.A double clicking in the element box is not ideal because it is something that not everybody is going to do to find out that there are more document links.Many thanks for your advise.

Dear IFS experts,I created a copy of an existing report in our IFS server, please see screenshot below. The original report is called “5 Inv Plan Consolidated” and the copied report was renamed “5 Inv Plan Consolidated FRANCE”. I made simple modifications to the copied report “5 Inv Plan Consolidated FRANCE”.Then I setup the report in the Report Definitions window Then when I tried to print/preview with this new layout I get the well know error (please see screenshot below) However if I used the same options (Language/date format) and change the layout to the original layout “5 Inv Plan Consolidated” I CAN print/preview without any troubles. Obviously this is not related to our setup of CWS because the issue is layout specific. However I have created a copy of an existing layout that works and I have only modified some text in the layout. I am really confused about this. Hello,We are having performance issues when embedding Qlik Sense reports in the IFS browser.We embedded the reports by adding a shortcut in IFS to the Qlik Sense Hub/report. We are doing this to encourage our users to use IFS and to promote the use of one platform for reports delivery.Unfortunately the performance of the report is poor. We have tried running the same link (IFS Shortcut the the Qlik Sense report) in Internet Explorer and the performance is equally poor. If we run the report in Edge the performance is good.Out IT manager says that it looks like the IFS application may directly reference IE for the embedded browser (Qlik Sense link), so he thinks the only way to change will be as a setting in IFS or changing IFS code to use Edge/Chrome instead in the embedded browser.The validation about which browser is embedded in IFS can be determined by adding the link below to the IFS address barhttps://www.whatismybrowser.com/ So internet Explorer 11 is the embedded browser in IFS.
Hello,I hope somebody out there has experience moving documents from the database to an FTP Server.We are on IFS 9. In my screenshots below I have a document class in the database called APPE and I want to move the documents associated to this document class to an FTP server.I have created two repositories in the EDM Basic>Repositories windows. One line to indicate that APPE_R1 has the doc class that I want to move and another repository line APPE_R2 to accommodate the transfer of documents to the FTP repository.Then I have used the Change Document Repository Wizard and the first step makes sense as shown in screenshot below however then I am presented with a second page where it seems to be I have to allocate a document class again? I am confused about this screen, furthermore the Doc Class field does not offer a list of values.I hope somebody can give us a word of advise on this matter.Many thanksMiguel
We are working with the Project Resource Forecast functionality in IFS and we have bumped into a potential issue with the the amount of rows in the table PROJECT_RESOURCE_SPREAD_TAB. We have ~250 million rows in this table and 90% of all data is 0.We have thousands projects on the go and I am concern about reporting performance when pulling data from the associated table/view if we start using this functionality.Any comments and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.Many thanksMiguel

Hello,The standard rate of VAT in Ireland will be temporarily cut from 23% to 21% as part of the Government July stimulus package .This new 21% rate of VAT will apply from September 1st 2020 until the end of February 2021.We have been trying to figure out how to change this in our IFS setup in a friendly manner that does not involve changing specific parameters on report codes, customers or supplier levels.It make sense that this could be done in the Tax Codes screen shown in my screenshot below, however we are getting an error message.Your advise will be very much appreciated.Many thanks and kind regardsMiguel
Hello, I have been trying to create a Custom Menu that passes the invoice_no from the External Supplier Invoices table (tbwExternalIncInvoiceHead) to the Manual Supplier Invoice Form (frmManualSupplierInvoice). Unfortunately the custom menu does not appear on the list of options as expected. I have followed the procedure and I am not getting any errors during the setup. I have noticed that the help documentation says “this option ONLY works if the form has been setup in the toolset to accept a transfer of information - be aware not every form is”. Is there a way to find out which forms will not allow the use of Custom Menus ? Perhaps I have been unlucky and I am dealing with one of such forms? Many thanks Miguel

Dear IFS experts We have been trying to go live with the MCPR functionality in IFS for a while. It has been an interesting project. We are facing a potential issue at the moment. Recently, we modified our customer tax codes because of the Making Tax Digital (MTD) initiative and now we are having issues with MCPR when we test the functionality between UK and France companies. Our company in France is not setup with a E2 tax code but we use this code in UK. We are wondering if the tax codes have to match for all companies in MCPR or if there is another way to deal with this. Your advice will be very much welcome. Regards Miguel

Hello,Due to the nature of contracts and human mistakes, sometimes it will be extremely useful to be able to change the Status of a Sales Contract from LOST to something else. Also, sometimes the customer in a contract will change and if the contracts has move to an status Awarded we cannot change the customer. In general, we have found that the IFS Sales contract are fairly rigid once you reached certain status in their workflow. I will appreciate your comments regarding any potential workarounds changing the status of a sales contract from LOST and also changing the customer after the contract has been awarded.Many thanks and kind regardsMig
