We have a need to send purchase orders to multiple people at the supplier (procurement and quality group for example). How do we do this with an Event? We have the same issue with Customer Invoices needing to go to Customers (Procurement, Quality and Finance). If we have one, we would be able to figure out the other.
We have 1 company that has 3 sites, 2 of the sites are manufacturing locations (site 2100 and 2200) and one is for R&D (site 2300). We want to limit the folks in R&D to only be able to view the data for the 2 manufacturing sites (2100 and 2200), but have full access to the R&D site (2300). The data that we need to limit is the Inventory Part, Recipe and Routing. I know one solution is to give them 2 different logins and set security to limit what they can/can’t do with permission sets and site assignment. This takes extra user logins (licenses) that I would rather not have to do. Is there any other way to do this?
We will be utilizing the Purchase Requisition System and have potential for multi-level approvals. An example would be the approver for a department has a limit of $5,000, then it goes to the CFO who has a limit of $15,000, then it goes to the CEO who has an open limit. If we have a requisition for $20,000 the department would approve it, then the CFO, then CEO. This is working fine, the problem is the email notification. We want to notify the department approver first, then once approved it goes to CFO, once approved goes to CEO. The out of box (OOB) email Event does this excellent, it just gives an email that is not in a usable format. We have created a custom event, but it is sending to all 3 approvers at the same time. How do we get the logic from the OOB Event that we can use on our custom event or clone the OOB event to get the step through approver process? I’m sure someone has the logic and others utilize this the same way.
The External Transport Lead time is not impacting the Planned Ship Date on Customer Orders when it gets adjusted. We utilize the Supply Chain Matrix to get the Lead time based on our forwarder. We have a calendar that is exploded/generated in IFS associated with the Ship Via. We have it working in a test system, can’t figure out what is missing in Production and we are going live on Monday. Any ideas?
I have created a Read Only custom field on the GL Voucher Row Analysis and when I go back to the screen and Reload the Configuration it does not show up in the Column Chooser. I have logged out and back in and still no luck. Any ideas on why this is not showing up? Apps 10 UPD5
We are seeing many sessions of IFS left Active even after the individual has logged out of IFS (we had sessions that were active for over 2 weeks and had restarted the environment at least once during this window). I know what is causing this and we are working on the user community to exit appropriately (selecting the Menu when done) but I’m trying to figure out is there a configuration/setup/utility that we need to have to clear out these old sessions? I can create a process to remove them in the background, but trying to determine if there is a function that we should configure in IFS and not use a brute force deleting process.
I have 1 lobby element that is not refreshing when I switch from one site to the other. If I refresh the screen it will refresh, just won’t when I change my site. I have multiple others in the same Lobby that do refresh, just not sure why this one does not. When I go to change the site on the drop down at the top, most elements get the refresh circle set, this one does not. Not sure what to look for, any idea/helpful hints? Apps 10 UPD5 in IEEE
I will take an order for 96,000 lbs and will have multiple shipments against that 1 line. How do I know which lots went with each shipment? I have checked Lot Batch History and this shows all Lots for the Customer Order, not the individual shipments.
We would like to change the sort on the Manual Issue Material screen to be by Receipt Date. We can go in and do the sort, save the profile, but it still resets back to the original sort, which is the quantity on-hand. Is there a way to change this or set it to a different default?
I have a situation where some shop orders are getting the Release_No set to 1. Initially I thought it was a user issue, but found that we have this field hidden and the user can’t get to it. The other thing I found was that the Shop Orders appear to come from Shop Order Requisitions, but I can’t seem to get it to duplicate in my recent refreshed test environment. The other thing I thought it may be was if you copy a Shop Order that has the Release_No set to 1 that it just brought it along, I’m not able to make that happen as well. What sets the Release_No? We utilize the default lot numbering in IFS and we are seeing some of the Lot #s have a number in the Release_No field instead of *.
We are trying to count down an inventory part to 0 using the count by inventory part and now receive an error Counted Qty must be greater than 0 Error when approving the count, not sure what would drive this.
We are trying to get Safety Lead time (on inventory part/planning tab) and Expected Lead time (on Inventory Part/Acquisition tab) to work based on workdays (based on a defined calendar) and not on calendar days. Is there somewhere that I can do this?
We are not seeing the full process working correctly when we are testing the Credit Card Interface with Apps 10. It is not processing the Payment, there for the off set transaction is giving the following error: ORA-20105: CreditCardInt.CUPOAERROR2: CUPOA ledger item NOT found for Invoice number CD 99000033 and occured when applying payment CUPOA for Invoice CD 99000033. Offset Unsuccessful.We are able to get the authorization and it processes that through PayPal, just don’t see it completing after we have delivered the product. We have the documentation on the setup, but can’t find anything that will help us beyond just getting the setup.
We have some custom fields that are truncating at 30 characters after they have been selected and saved. The enumeration drop down shows the full text value, but once saved and the screen refreshed it will re-display it showing only the first 30 characters. We are using Apps10 (upd5) on IEE. I’m opening a case with IFS, seeing if anyone else is seeing the same thing or knows about this and if a solution exists.
Why am I not seeing the capacity on the Manufacturing Visualizer using the Labor Operation Load in Standard Hours, it shows the team Available Capacity. I believe it used to, not sure why I’m not seeing it. The work center has daily capacity in the time frame I’m looking. I have also tried it for another business that is machine drive and it doesn’t show for Machine Operation Load in Standard Hours. I have capacity in all workcenters.
is there a way to show extra fields (part number, description ...) on the graph? I know you can add them to the Tool Tip, would like them to show all the time.
We have expense items that we are setting up to put on the Product Structure that will allow us to perform Where Used and determine what products are impacted by these parts. We do not want to have these in inventory. When I created a few test items and did a purchase order, then received it they are now in inventory. Is there a different way to approach this? We really want these on a structure to give us visibility, just don’t want them in inventory.
I know how to do this, just forgot. How do I disable a prompt in WaDaCo? I want to eliminate Location No on the Report Picking function.
We have shop orders that the lot size will be a partial number (process manufacturing). When entered into IFS and then saving it will round the number up. Is there a setting I’m missing that I need to set so this does not happen? The partial is critical in that the raw material requirements are designed to use full quantities (full pallets or big bags) and this calculates the number to require more than what we want.
We use Shop Floor Workbench in Apps 10 and we have users that will put in the Shop Order number which shows all operations on the shop order. This will allow them to work on operations out of sequence. If they use the Workcenter or any of the other filters it works fine. We have the Selection as Executable. Is there a way to prevent them from doing this without trying to build out events (if even possible)? We need them to use the Shop Order to review Work Guidelines from previous operations and they state there are too many orders to scroll through.
How do I find the included field in Aurena and be able to show it in IEE?

When I move SO in APB they end of dropping off the list and I have to close and open APB to get it back. This started happening in 2021, was wondering if maybe something with yearend calendaring was the issue or another item that I could look at. Right now the product is unusable to us until I can resolve this issue.
We use Demand Planner and have Purchased (raw) materials that we forecast/sell. I have setup the part in MS Level 1 and registered a forecast manually through the MS Level 1 Register Forecast. I ran MS - for the part and had expected to see something in the Purchase Requisition screen. I don’t see anything there and don’t see anything in the MS Action Proposals. Is there something special that I need to setup for this?
I’m trying to validate the Kanban Resizing calculation and when I go through it the numbers are significantly different. We are using MS/MRP demands, I put future dates (6/1/2023 - 9/30/2023) and have the Shop Order Requisitions. I’m using calendar days, does the Resizing use Work Days, if so what calendar is it using? Also what Lot Size is it using, Standard? I have a total quantity between 6/1/2023 and 9/30/2023 of 3600, the number of days is 121, Leadtime is 28, Safety stock is 0, Std Lot Size is 480. The kanban size is 5 cards at 500. The calculation is Number of Kanbans. When I resize it I get 4 cards at 500, I can’t figure out how this number is generated. Everything I try brings it down to 2 or 3 cards depending on the Daily Demand calendar I use.
