Hello,We’re currently on IFS APPS 9 and looking to migrate in the very near future. We currently are using Logistyx TME. Before we commit to sticking with our current provider does any one have any recommendations for a suitable replacement? Positive and negative remarks would be helpful. Thank you.
Hello,We have a few users who have been getting almost daily email notifications from IFS DEV that they have supplier invoices to authorize. I’m not sure why these emails are being generated from DEV versus from PROD. However, where can I go to review these alerts and disable/change email settings? I’m sure it would be the same for both PROD/TEST/DEV. Thank you.
Hello,This week started off by users reporting that they could not log into IFS with their network credentials. I confirmed for both our PROD and TEST environment that was the case. All app and db servers were running. I initially rebooted both PROD app and db servers. This did not resolve any login issues. Ultimately, I found documentation regarding reconfiguring the LDAP environments which solved the issue. The question is; what caused this and did it have to do with moving new calendar year? I’ve seen the reconfiguration steps done in the past, but it was done by our IFS admins at that time and it was not clear to me what caused the issue. I’m trying to understand the reasoning this happens even though we have the fix. Thank you.
Hello,I’ve been asked to grant permission to 6 users to our DEV environment. I have one user who cannot access IFS DEV while the others don’t have any issues. Credentials for all users are firstinitiallastname in CAPS for both username and password. I confirmed the user is listed under our list of users. The user’s status is set to active. Users are instructed to log into DEV using specific credentials vs what their PROD credentials. The DEV credentials do not work. Is there any other way to test and correct this issue for this 1 user? Hello,I’m trying to access IFS DEV for one of our users and getting the following error “ifs user has not been granted access to activity clientapplication” This account was not created by me, but was already present. I’m not sure if it replicated from our PROD environment. I was successful in creating a new account for 2 vendors this morning so I’m not sure what the issue is. When I get the error the following is what I’m using. For some reason LDAP credentials are not working like they do in PROD. Username: firstinitiallastnamePassword: firstinitiallastname (all in CAPS)Any help would be appreciated.
Hello,As I’m trying to lock down and restrict shared accounts to only be able to log into specific production kiosks. I’m running into issues where the shared accounts are not able to log into IFS (PROD and TEST). For instance, from our Active Directory environment, I’ve chosen USER01 to only be able to log into PC01. However, once the user is on that PC and tries logging into IFS we see the following alert: “invalid username/password”, “the user is not authorized to log in” or “the service is currently unavailable”. In this case it has to be the authorized login. In troubleshooting I added our IFS APP and DB servers to the list of allowed computers/units USER01 can access which didn’t help. I understand when accessing PROD or TEST it authenticates with the respective server but I’m just not sure why adding the servers to the allowed computers list won’t allow access. Is there something else I’m missing or is this process not compatible with IFS?
