Hello,Is it possible to set up a Batch external file job to handle dynamic file names? I tried putting an asterisk (*) at the end of the file name within the External File Template but that produces an error saying the file cannot be found.
Hello, I created a scheduled Batch Load job to input an external Bank Reconciliation .csv filed saved to a folder location on the server. When setting up the External File Template, I believe I configured the ‘Input Files’ section correctly. I have a File Name and Input File Directory. When I run the Scheduled Database Task, I receive the following error:ORA-20110: ExternalFileUtility.File \\servername\External\BankReconciliation\filename.csv not exist EDIT: I can upload the external file successfully from the same location using Online processing. Can anyone suggest possible solutions to fix this error?
Hello,One of our users recently reported an error when trying to run a BR report, both locally on the PC from within the BR app *and through IFS IEE. The user was able to run the report with no issues within the last year and this started about three weeks ago. I can run the same report with no issues from my PC. We tried to re-install IFS BR w/ pre-reqs but the same error message still occurs.*EDIT: The user reported they can run the report successfully from within IEE.We’re looking into other factors such as if an application was recently installed that may be conflicting with BR but that seems unlikely. Has anyone else experienced an error similar or know how we might go about troubleshooting this further?
It seems like IFS Business Reporter 5.0.16.0 was pushed to users PCs after a recent IFS delivery was applied. We are having many issues with our BR reports currently published with an earlier version of BR. I have run the report through the Upgrade Utility but when I run the report, I receive the following error message: System.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown. at System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.GetObjectForNativeVariant(IntPtr pSrcNativeVariant) at System.Runtime.InteropServices.CustomMarshalers.EnumeratorViewOfEnumVariant.MoveNext() at Ifs.Application.Br.ExcelInterface.Vsto.ExcelRange.GetEnumerator() at Ifs.Application.Br.Expansion.ReportExpandUtil.GetExpandedRange(IExcelRange inputRange, IVirtualExcelSheet vsheet, IExcelWorksheet excelWorkSheet) at Ifs.Application.Br.Core.DesignModel.NameManager.HandleSheetRepeaterNameRanges(IExcelName designModeNameRange) at Ifs.Application.Br.Core.DesignModel.NameManager.SwapAndCac
(App 10/ Ver 5.0.8.0) We recently switched to AD authentication in our App10 upd 5 environment. After switching to AD auth I made a change to a BR report and re-published it IFS. I can run the report successfully from IEE and BR add-on but other users get an Excel error: HRESULT: 0x800401A8. All other existing BR reports deploy successfully for users. Only the recently changed report errors out for other users. Has anyone else experienced this before or know what may be causing this issue? I have tried un-publishing and deleting the report, with no success. I also logged in as App Owner account and still received the same error. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.
Is there an option within IFS Business Reporter to display design rows/ columns even when there are null values when the report is run? For example, our current BR reports will not display rows/ columns where the GL Balance amount is zero. The report only will shows those columns and rows where GL Balance data is not null. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hello, I am trying to determine how Account Node Dimension data is joined to database view FACT_CONSOL_BALANCE_OL in an APP10 UPD 5 environment. In IFS Business Reporter, the dimension is identified as ‘DIM_ACCOUNT.NODE_DESCRIPTION’. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hello, A user recently brought to my attention that the ‘Export’ button is missing from the IFS BR ribbon/ toolbar in Excel when the report is run/ exported from App10 IFS IEE. We are currently using version 5.0.8.0. Additionally, the IFS BR ‘Export’ button seems to appear in Development mode when logged in to IFS BR application on PC. Is the recommended workaround to use the native Excel ‘File → Export’ functionality?
We have successfully deployed and populated the IFS Business Analysis Package OLAP cubes for IFS Apps 9 in a test environment. I found the Measures deployed within the Sales cube, which are based on the SUM aggregation, are not populating. However, I have confirmed there are Measures based on the SUM aggregation functioning correctly within the Manufacturing cube. There is data within the Sales-related Data Mart SQL tables as well. I did try changing the data types on the SQL Data Mart table and in the Cube via Visual Studio, neither of which worked.Has anyone else experience issues like this with the IFS OLAP cubes? Basically, there is data within the SQL tables but the Cube measures are not aggregating the SUM in the Sales OLAP cube.
