Hi, I have browsed the forums with little to no luck to the answer for my question. There are similiar questions regarding the setup of the work center. We are using IFS Cloud. My question is related to the set up of a work centers and the resources within the machine group. In the resource structure we have assigned as follows:Testing EQ1Functional Test 1Functional Test 2 Programming 1Programming 2Programming 3 All these are in the same work center.Could I route a product to certain resources or is there a limitation to just a “work center”. Whereas I would like to add specific products that are routed through different machines, but are physically in the same location. Furthermore, could I limit the capacity basis for the resources as they are a multiple of each resource.Whereas this setup says that I could plan for 96 hours per day, which is inaccurate in regard to shift levels currently. ( although the machines are available for that period ). Just a tip is appreciated. BR
Hi IFS-community, I have a question regarding the metric OEE. We have currently using IFS10, but are moving towards integrating IFS-Cloud later on this year. Under what segment can I find the set-up documentation for OEE and how it works in IFS? More specifically, how it affects the capacity of our work centers. Best RegardsAnders
Hello, A brief question regarding the 2 views mentioned “Operation Statistics” and “Labor and Operation History”. We are aiming to get the correct data from our shop floor regarding what has actually been produced during a given time period. What we experience is that “Operation Statistics” does not provide the same information as “Labor and Operation History”. Wheras the latter also requires us to manully filter out duplicates, cancelled operations etc. Operation Statistics seems to be the way to go, but I am uncertain that we use it correctly. Whereas if I want to check on yesterday’s shop floor results. I miss out on partially reported shop orders due to there is not actual finish dates. Does anyone have any tips on how to procede? My first though is that we need to “start production” and use clockings more thorughly in production. Which gives us the possiblity to filter on “actual start date” instead. We currenlty using IFS10, but in September we are implementing IFS - CloudBest Reg
Hello everyone, (Sorry for poor quality img)I´ve run into some issues concering the receiving of serialized parts in the component repair order (CRO) flow. The problem has started to become more frequent and I would like to find the root cause of this issue. Summary of problem: The repair technician wants to close the repair shop order. First, the time of the operation is reported then the reception of the parts should be done. The problem is that an error message appears which signals that we should use the same availability control ID or W/D/R number in the existing stock. We don´t assign different W/D/R numbers currently, and Control ID’s are not common practice in that area of operations. Therefore, the issue is interesting to say the least. Our setup:We are currently not tracing finished/semi-finished products. Although, the products that are received through the CRO - process has a serial number. Current workaround is to change the Control ID in the “Receive Parameter”, which enabl
