Issue on matching invoices on PO receipt from Work Task

Hi IFS network,I have an issue at a customer who is not able to match a supplier invoice against a PO which is created from a Work Task. The Work Task is in status finished, now it is not possible anymore to match the invoice against the PO receipt (only when you reopen teh work task it is possible again). I see that from UPD16 there is a fix deployed, see This fix was related to invoices without a PO reference. I think it should be possible to match an invoice with a PO Receipt, even when the connectexd Work Task is in status finished. Normally the person who is responsible for the status of work tasks is not the same as the person who is booking the invocies. The invoice will come weeks later than the work is executed, so this is really a timing issue.Please advice on this issue @Thommy and @Nethmini Kosvinna

copy function with select all checkboxes

All,when I want to copy a Work Task, I have to option to select all checkboxes, this option is not available when I want to copy a PM Action or a Work Task Template. Are there any ideas to implement the option ‘Select All’ for other copy functions?Is there a way to managed the default values in the copy option? Most of the time the user want tpo copy all and now none of the options are selected.Thanks in advance,Robert Kool

Performed Value Based for multiple PM Triggers

Hi All,I want to know your opinion on the field ‘performed value based’ in PM Actions. Please consider the following scenario:I have one PM action with two Maintenance triggers:On a bad condition (new in 23R1) Every 100 hours (with performed value based TRUE)Now we have a situation where we record a bad condition at 125 hours, so trigger 1 has created a work order and work task. At completion of this work task, the hours are 135 hours.What do you expect in the maintenance plan for trigger 2? My opinion is that the next trigger will be set to 235 hours, but that is not the case, it remains at 100 hours. It is only taking the hours on work of trigger 2 and not the other triggers.See PM Action:With a maintenance plan:Based on trigger 1 a work task is created and completed. Just before completion of the work task a new reading is set for the hours to 135. I would like that the Maintenance plan for the accumulated triggers is updated. Logon with one user for multiple devices

All, I am wondereing if it is possible to logon with the same user frm multiple devices at the same time. I see in some posts in this community that it is not possible to logon to IFS IEE at the same time on different devices. But my question is related to a user who needs te be logged on to the scanit app for WADACO scanning and to the IEE client to create purchase requisitions. It looks like they have to logoff from the scanit app before the logon to the IEE client. Hopefully it is possible to manage this. See following two posts as well: Thanks in advance,Robert Kool

calculation maintenance plan for condition based PM Actions

Hi all,In IFS PM Action it is possible to set an accumulated condition (like running hours). When there are at least three values in IFS, IFS calculated the maintenance plan.My question is more related to when we have a lot of running hours registered, how does IFS calculate the maintenance plan? is there some documenation on this topic?How many registered hours are taken into account (all, latest 10 measurments, or latest 12 Month?) and is the maintenanc eplan always calculated lineair based on these values? I got a question of a customer who wants to know if there is a possibility to have seasonal calculation? so for example it is know that during the summer the runnig hours are less then in winter time. Can IFS take this into account within the calculation?Thanks!

Easy report time for someone else on a Work Task

Hi all,Is there someone who can advise me on a better way to report time on a Work Task, so it is easier than my way?One of my customers is working have Work Tasks without assignments. They just have Work Tasks and they execute them in a certain order. They can be executed by people of the same site, but different maintenance organizations and different resource groups. The hours are reported by one person for all employees.When this person wants to create a time report line, then automatically his data is filled, so the connected employee, maintenance organization and resource group. Now we have to clear all this data before he can fill the applicable employee.So what I want is that we create a new line and that the information of the logged in user does not fill automatically.So far we do this in the Work Task in the tab Time Report and also with ethe RMB Report Time on the Work Task.Any suggestions are welcome 😊 Thanks, Robert

Block Resource from being planned when a WO is created for the connected Object

Hi all, Is there a way to make a Resource (Tool) not available in the Gantt when there is a work order created for the connected Tool/Equipment (or Service Object)? I want to be sure that the tool cannot be allocated in a period that the tool needs to be certified. So I have create a Resource (type Tool/Equipment) and this is connected to a Tool equipment for which I created a maintenance plan for certification of the tool. Form the Maintenance plan I have create a work order and work task and I have released it. Now it would be great if I get a block to allocate the resource in the period of the work order. Change Maintenance triggers from Work Task Template to PM Action

Hi All,What is the best way in Standard IFS (Cloud) to update the Maintenance triggers from a Work Task template to all connected PM Actions. This is applicable for at least condition and calandar trigger options. So far, I only have the option to do so via a PM Program, but we can not use that de to restrictions we have on the item class and process class.Thanks in advance,Robert

Order in Service List of Object Connections

Project Allocation within Resource Monitoring Gantt

Hi All, Can someone explain to me how I can have the bar of the Project Allocation in the Resource Monitoring Gantt? Within the legend I can see a Yellow bar which should show the Project Allocation, but I am not able to see this? are there any requirements? Thanks in advance

Documentation for lightusers

Maybe it is better to paste my question in this community: The challenge here is to make the document files in IFS available for persons who currently are not working in IFS. The sales representatives are not using IFS now, but they need to find the signed contracts (which are stored in IFS.This question is coming from a Customer who also works with Mobile Work Order. Maybe this can also be a solution. So set an equipment structure for the customers and connect documents to the equipment. So MWO will be used only to find any document, not for working with work orders.But the CRM Companion sounds more where is meant for!Thanks,Robert

Hi all,For a customer in IFS9 we are looking for a solution for sales representatives.Currently there are not user in IFS, but they need some information while on the road to customers. They can find this information from Sharepoint, where a lot of documents are stored. This customer want to store these documents in IFS (not in Sharepoint anymore), so they are looking for a solution for them to find these documents. My first idea was to install CRM Companion, but I am not sure if they can manage from there. The solution is still under design, so not sure where we are going to connect the document to (sales Quotation, Customer Order, Work Order, Customer, etc.). They are not using CRM as a solution in IFS, they only want to find these documents in an easy way.So, any documentation of this app will help (in IFS9)Thanks I advance,Robert

Additional Qualifications on Project Resource

All, Can someone help me with a resource planning question?On a Work Task it is possible to add additional qualification (Certificates and competences) besides the resource group. I expect that this is also possible on the project resource, but I cannot find anything on this. Is there also an option to add this on the project Resource? Thanks in advance, Robert Kool

What is the ‘Remaining Planned Hours’ in Project Resource Planning?

Can we configure the pop-up information in the resource monitoring gantt?

All, I managed to have the project allocation in the resource monitoring gantt. Now I see that there is limited information in the pop up on the project. Can we configure the information on this pop up?Please not that this project allocation is only showing when the allocated hours is 100 % within the time interval. There is a case ‘CS0081053 ‘ created for this, hopefully also the project allocated hours less then 100% will be shown. See also topic for more information

Search parameters in Resource Monitoring Gantt

All,We will use the Resource Monitoring Gantt to check if the correct resource is available to be planned/allocated. We will use a logic to find the best fit for the resource demand, so we created several saved searches which include Competences and Licenses. When the window is opened, we have to the possibility to see the search parameters, but these do not include the parameters set on the competence and licenses. We are now implementing on 21R2. Service Report in Service Technician Portal

Hi All, Is there an option in IFS Cloud (currently working with 21R2) to have a Service report As a Service technician in the Technician Portals (in Aurena). I know there is an option in IFS MWO, so hopefully we can have something similar in the technician portal.Thanks, Robert

Not correct capacity in Resource Analysis

All, It looks like an Resource has a capacity of 8,5 hours in the Resource Analysis window, but it should be in fact 8 hours.The employee is set with the following schedule, so 8 hours of work between 8:30 and 17:00 o’clockWith this setup I expect 8 hours per day as the capacity, but in the resource analysis windw it shows 8,5 hours:Do I miss anything, or is this not correct in IFS (IFS Cloud)?
