Apps 10 UPD14.It has been noticed that some of our companies have 6 Ageing Buckets and some companies have 4 and some have none. Hi All,Apps 10 - UPD14Does anybody know of a way to hide ‘other employees’ shop floor clocking's from being visible in the Shop Floor Workbench ‘Clocking’ tab?Currently, when a workshop operator views the ‘Clocking’ tab on the Shop Floor Workbench, they can see all other users clocking's. Any help / assistance would be greatly appreciated.
A very vague question I know but I thought I would ask anyway :)We have a repeatable instances where some Customer Order are updated to 'Invoice/Closed' when a Shipment is ‘Delivered’ and some Customer Orders (same customer / Order Type / Shipment Type) once shipped, the Customer Order state goes into a ‘Delivered’ state??I can see this process is using the Quick Order Flow (API) process and I have spend a good couple of hours looking around the API stack and still none the wiser. Can anybody help / seen this before?Thanks in advance..James

Hi All,Quick question, our Test instance is quite slow even though the Db (20gb SGA / PGA) and host machine (ODA Server) is adequately sized for the number of sessions / users - at any one time, there are only around 15 users using it.One thing that I have noticed is in the IFS System Monitoring console, the Recursive CPU is constantly at 94% - ‘Parse’ CPU never gets above 1% and ‘Others’ again never goes over 6%..Any idea why the ‘Recursive CPU’ is so high any SQL I can run to check to see why? IFS Apps 10 UPD19 Hi All,As a PoC, I am currently investigating the possibly of moving one of our test middleware services from Windows to Oracle Linux platform.Without creating a new ‘middleware home’ on this Linux server and then re installing 150-ish releases into it, does anybody know if it would be possible to use the ‘Clone’ option from the Windows server and then re create the middleware on the Linux server?If not, has anybody else down this (moving from Windows to Linux) or have any idea what would be the best way forward..I believe my options are limited and would have to go the re installing the releases route..Any help / assistance would be greatly appreciated.James
** Apps 10 UPD14 **Hi All,I am trying to set up ‘Media Archives’ in one of our test instance as per the F1 documentation but I am getting this error message whilst testing.I can confirm that from the Db server, it can ping the ‘archive’ server and the directory itself has the necessary access rights..Any idea why I am getting this issue?

Hi all.There is a need to migrate open Purchase Orders from one site (contract) to another.I have setup a Source Migration job .. But when I come to run the job (for one PO), I am getting this error messageORA-20110: PurchaseOrderLinePart.NOSUPPURCHPARTEXIST: Supplier for purchase part does not exist for the demand site.I’ve checked the attribute string and the Order Number (which I believe will be the new Order Number) does not exist. It seems step 10 (header) has not commit before steps 20 has run - hence the error message Any idea why this would be the case?

Hi All,Is anybody aware of any third party tools / apps that could be used to monitor / audit (non IFS client) connections to a IFS Db..So time ago, I created a replicated (that replicates ever 15 mins) IAL to track ‘SQL’ connections from apps like excel / etc but know, I want to see if there is something else that we could use to monitor / audit this type of connection.Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Apps 10 UPD14 Question if I may..When you have an IFS company which is registered for VAT in multiple EU countries, each country requires that the VAT returns and tax transactions are reported to them using an exchange rate which they accept within that country.As standard in IFS we only have the option to set a currency rate for tax purposes on “buying” transactions or “Selling” transactions. Does anyone have a solution on how to show the tax transactions which need reporting against VAT registration #1 in with FX rates from that country and transactions against registration 2 with the rates from that country in IFS.. and so on for each additional VAT registration?Note – One of our EU entities is registered in 6 different countries which use 4 different currencies for reporting.

For Data Warehouse use, we are looking to use a large number of IFS views and with these views, we would want only incremental changes.Now and for some views, there is ROWVERSION (time / date stamp) which is fine but on some of the views, the ROWVERSION is just a number (not unique) and on some views, ROWVERSION does not exist or with no available columns that could be used to identify incremental changes. Is anybody aware of any method or mechanism that could be used in a consistent way across ‘all’ IFS views that could be used to identify incremental changes?Any help / assistances would be greatly appreciated.
