Could not load file or assembly

Hi everyone, Once in a while we get this error (Could not load file or assembly, example in image below), where users are not able to enter a menu which they have privilege's for.The solution we have had so far, is to delete the 2.0 folder from the users APPDATA/APPS windows folder, and on reentry to IFS, they are able to access the same menu. The question I would like to ask, is if this is the best possible solution, or if there is another way to understand why this happens and solve it, without the need to delete the 2.0 folder? Thanks in advance!

Error with M30 posting

Hi everyone, We getting an error when trying to post a fiscal note, although we don’t understand why the error is happening.In the order, we have the following preposting values:We have the preposting rules created as you can see below.However, when posting the fiscal note, we get the following error:“Value is missing or has an invalid time interval for posting type M30 control type C32 code part B in company 100.” To help with your answers, this error is only happening with non inventory sales-parts.Why is IFS searching for the values in M30 posting, when the values came from preposting?Is there some parametrization missing on our behalf? Thanks in advance,Carlos Mendes

Inventory Part Revision on Product Structure Revision

Database access

Hi everybody, We using IFS APPS 10 and we need a user to be able to access data through our ODBC excel’s, but not be able to do anything in IFS APP, so basically it would be a readonly access to the database. Is there a user already predefined for this, or is there a possibility to create a user which only has access to database objects, but not to presentation objects? Or is there any other way of going about this? Thanks in advance for you help!Carlos Mendes

Instant Invoice Tax Code

Hello, When we create an instant invoice, with a certain customer and certain sales object, the tax code which appears, has nothing to do with the customer or the sales object (image InstantInvoice.png).The customer has the tax code field empty (image Customer.png), and the sales object has a different tax code inserted (image SalesObject.png).Therefore my doubt is, what is the criteria of IFS for choosing a tax code in an instant invoice line from a sales object, if not the tax code inserted in that sales object? Thanks in advance,Carlos Mendes

Script to email almost expired IFS password

Good afternoon, I created a PL/SQL script in order to send emails to IFS users who have there password expiring within 7 days.Now what I dont know, is where in IFS can I save this code, to be able to run it daily?Basically like a quick report we create a scheduled task, but in this case it’s a procedure to send emails, which would also have a scheduled task? Related to this, is there a way to bypass the MAIL SENDER context type, which is set to PLAIN TEXT, and send only these emails with HTML code? Thanks in advance,Carlos Mendes

Customer Document Tax Supply Country

Hi, I have a doubt in the Customer Basic Data. In the address tab, we have the Document Tax Information sub tab.Here we can create multiple lines of Tax ID Numbers for the Customer. My doubt is why can we have multiple Tax ID Numbers for a customer address, if we change supply country or delivery country?So for the example I send attached, if I supply my customer from China, I invoice to a Chinese VAT, but if I supply from Portugal, I supply a Portuguese VAT, even though the delivery location is the same...What is the explanation and logic behind this, logistically, financially and legally? Thanks in advance,Carlos Mendes

Payment Term in Customer Agreement

Hi everybody, We created a custom field within the Customer Agreement window, to reference all payment terms.However, when we list the payment terms, all payment terms from all companies appear.Is there a way to only reference payment terms of the company selected, like in the Customer → Invoice tab? Thanks in advance,Mendes Our Custom field reference within Customer Agreement Header, which doesn’t filter by CompanySystem information for field PAY_TERM_ID within the Customer window, which filters by Company

Track a lot when issued

Hi everyone, Our quality department needs to track certain lots.For this, they need to be sent an email (for now the best option), for when the lot is issued in a shop order.The way I’m thinking of doing this is to create a custom field on Inventory Part in Stock or Lot Batch Master, and based on that, create a custom event on issues from a shop order, when this custom field is not empty. My question is if this is the best option, or if anybody sees a more efficient solution for this?Thanks,Carlos Mendes

Cancelled Order Lines

Good morning, Of 600000 Customer Order Lines in our database, we have over 540000 which are cancelled, mostly due to EDI.I have been thinking of copying/moving these lines to a Custom Logical Unit, equally related to the Customer Order, in order for the related tables/views to not be so heavy, and because it is important to keep these lines for historical and for analysis purposes. I would however like to ask the members of this forum, firstly if this is the best way, and if not, if you have any other idea for doing this in IFS, to remove these lines from the Customer Order Lines, but keep them for archival purposes, related to the related Customer Orders?Thanks in advance,Mendes

Application Messages Errors - Scheduling System Data USERS

Hi everyone, I have errors every 10 minutes when a task Scheduling System Data USERS runs. (Image Applications Message Errors)What exactly does this do?Does this really need to run, considering it always gives error? (Image Error 1)The error is due to a URL that doesn’t exist. If the task is needed what should be the URL? If I disable it, we get another error. Limit IFS options box permissions

Good morning, Due to a security information certification, we forced the IFS theme to be different from TEST and PROD, for all users.In doing so, we need to prevent access to users from changing the theme themselves.Where can we limit access to not allow changing theme in Options box? Thanks in advance,Carlos Mendes

How to know environment on Quick Report

Hi everyone, I have created a few quick reports, that we then send through application server tasks and background jobs on a regular basis.When our department leader decides to ask an IFS partner to copy from PROD environment to TEST environment and we are not informed, we receive these quick reports in double, from PROD and TEST, however the problem is we don’t know which one is from PROD and which one is from TEST.Is there any possibility to put the environment on the email subject to differentiate the quick reports? Thanks in advance,Carlos Mendes

Stock movement

Good morning Everyone,We have a doubt considering stock movement in IFS APP 10.Besides permission sets, availability controls and controls on sites, warehouses, locations and inventory parts, is there a way in IFS to control whether a user ou usergroup can access or not access a specific inventory location or inventory location group, besides all of the above?So for example, can we user by user, or user group by user group control which inventory locations or inventory location groups they can or cannot have access to?Thanks in advance for your inputs,Carlos Mendes

Report rule for current user

Good afternoon everybody,We are trying to select a specific crystal report within the material requisition picklist print dialog, and we want one of the crystal reports to be the default one when the user is part of the Logistics department, and we are able to get this through a query.How can we add a query in the expression and filter the query by the current user, so that if it gives back values, it is TRUE?Thanks in advance for your help.Carlos Mendes
