Hi,I would like to have more information for the DSE calculation with 2 adresses for Technicians. 1/ I assume that if we set 2 adresses for an Technician : StartShift and Endshift, the DSE will use these inputs in the calculation. Right ?Use case : Startshift adress : Office Endshift Address : Home 2/ If we set 2 different adresses : Could we have the data of the last travel in the DSE tables (Service Order > Endshift Adress) ?NB : If the Endshift Adress is far from the Startshift, the total travel can be very different and the selection of the technician also for the last service order of the day. Each technician don’t want to have big travel between the last service order and his home. Thanks and Regardsanthony
We are looking at route planning software (particularly for strategic planning), and wonder if anybody here has experience with PAS/Astea Alliance (on-prem) integration or know of anybody running this.
Do we have any updated documents to enable SSO via ADFS , support provided us with a v12 doc where the last step doesnt match up with SU7. After running th SSO tools got the below error in testThe last step doesnt match up withthe config editor in SU7 Copied the old config files that the SSO tool modified from a bckup folder to resolve the issue.However we need to enable SSO so if anyone has enabled please share the steps. HI -we will be moving to Astea version 15 . previously in 14 we would use Service Queue for our “pool queue” for all jobs to drop in to and then various people take them into their own queues to work on . What alternative modules do people use that would have that same function ?

Hi,We have encountered some cases where the calculated Total tax amount is wrong. It appears there is a standard process which added a “tax_round” line, for which an adjustment is done. Let’s take the case : For each line and for header : Total price line HT Tax rate TVA (calculated) Rounded TVA (2 digits) 118,13 20% 23,626 23,63 73,5 20% 14,7 14,7 219,38 20% 43,876 43,88 411,01 82,202 82,21 Header total price Tax rate TVA Rounded value 411,01 20% 82,202 82,2 The problem is that on the invoice, the adjustment seems to be done on the wrong way (adding one cent instead of subtracting it), and the result is wrong. Let’s see the invoice : Having a look on the database, we may have this issue on 2 columns (yellow ones) for which value is positive instead of negative. Hi,In the Alliance 15.4 SU7, we still have the transaction : PSA Task Templates(we also have some other PSA transactions)I know that the PSA Center is not available, but I wonder if we have a risk to use this transaction only to define Task Templates.Some prospects or customers have “project management” activities and even if the PSA center is not available we could use this transaction to define templates, but we need to be sure that this transaction will not be decommissioned in a future update.Thanks and Regardsanthony

Hi, Could you give us the rule to allocate parts in the Allocation Batch module, because with the sorting method « Due Date », it doesn’t produce the expected results. The Due date of the documents listed in the Allocation Batch module is not taken in account to allocate products. In V14 it was OK. In Log Viewer, I don’t find any order_by Due Date. I have just found a sort on the last reception date in bins, regarding I think the bins to choose when a demand quantity can be allocated from different bins. I am trying to change Customer ID on an existing Customer Contract. And when I try to do so, Error message pops up as ‘”Address already used for the same address type ‘Shipping Address’”.I tried to check error logs on servers, but couldn’t find any. HiWe have a customer which is complaining that the site access hour are not refreshed in mobile edge..The scenario is at first the customer site has no access hour defined (for example), There is a service order assigned to a mobile technician. On his mobile device the technician can see that there is no access hour defined in the module site details / acess hours this is ok. Then in the back office the Access hours are updated on the site.This information is not pushed to the mobile device , even if a new service order for this site is assigned to the same technician.is it normal ? thanks for your feedbackChristophe

Hi, For the Suggest SA function : when you use this functionality with the DSE :Is the result displayed by the suggest SA in relation with the tour built by the DSE (trial status) ? 1/ For example, with the screenshot attached, Alliance don’t suggest “ERIC” between 8 to 10 hours ? 2/ For example, with the screenshot attached, Alliance consider that “ERIC” will be on the customer site to calculate the cost and distance (kms/hour) between 8 to 10 hours ? or the suggest SA has no link with the DSE : To calculate the cost and distance for The Suggest SA we only consider the SV on the allocated/assigned/finished status and the geolocation of the Technician.Regards anthony
HI,We have a use case with 3 PM schedule maintenance for a same product: 1/ Maintenance 1 : each 6 weeks problem code A2/ Maintenance 2 : each 3 months problem code B3/ Maintenance 3 : 1 per Year Problem code CEach of them have the own pace, they are not linked in cycle.For the Maintenance 1 : For example : I have this shedule : 02/01/24, 15/02/24, etc each 6 weeks.If for this planned date (02/01) , I finally run the MP the 15/01, i would like to automatically posponed the second date : 15/02 to 28/02.We tried this PM Schedule maintenance, but it doesn’t work. After the first MP Done, the second PM date, still at the same planned date. What can be the best way to design this PM schedule ?Why we cannot use the “Floating PM” with a schedule “Alone” ?Thanks and Regardsanthony
Hi, In an external Repair order, if you realize a vendor exchange, then after the receipt of the part sent by the vendor, in the RP you can select “Return to stock” in the lookup of the field “Product disposition” (resolve screen). But if you realise the product exchange through a Bulk PR, then after the receipt of the part sent by the vendor, in the RP you don’t have anymore the option “Return To stock”. Why it is not possible in this case to return the product to inventory ?Thanks by advance

Hi, we are using V15.4.2 currently.We have found that when creating new Installed Items, we are able to select a Product ID even if set as Obsolete, which we were hoping would not be possible.Also are able to clone an existing Installed Item that has an Obsolete product.BUT if we go to an Installed Item and try to change the Product ID to something that is set as Obsolete, it does not show as an option, it only offers active Products.This seems inconsistent, so can anyone define how this is supposed to work please? And is there any way we can prevent users from using certain Product ID’s?Thanks
