We successfully configured a print agent for IFS8 on a windows server and have been using it for several years. Occasionally, it will report that it is unable to connect to the URL of the application server, reporting that it is either not running or is not correctly configured. From that point on, we are unable to print anything from IFS.The application is running. The only way we have found to get printing working again is to stop and restart the ManagedServer1 process. This is a major interruption to the users because it stops them from using the application. Does anyone know why IFS printing is reporting it cannot connect to itself? The full error details follow: Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Explorer: An Unhandled Exception has occurred ---> Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Unexpected error while calling server method PrintReport/ReportFormatRequest ---> Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: ifs.fnd.gateway.GatewayException: Exception thrown by handler operation: EJB Exception:--- IFS Exten

I have implemented the IFS 8 Print agent on as windows server. The print agent starts and the log shows no errors. It successfully connects to the application but does not see the print jobs in the queue. The queue shows all jobs in “remote waiting” status. When I turn on debug in the print agent it shows it is “getting remote job” followed by “no jobs found” even though there are jobs in the queue.
I scheduled an IAL to run on the last day of the month at 4:15:00 PM. (trunc(last_day(sysdate()) + 16.25/24). It started at the correct date and time, but when I look at the background jobs for the day, I find that it ran every 10 minutes after that for about 8 hours. Then it stopped. It rescheduled itself for 11/30/2022 4:15:00 PM. You can see from the screen shot below that the last time it ran was at 12:05:27 AM on 11/1/2022.What would cause it to continue to execute every 10 minutes for 8 hours? What can I look at? None of the logs show any errors.

Hello, We are using IFS 8 SP1+ with 2 managed server with an external load balancer as netscalar. We are getting error in 4 to 5 min “Database session has been expired. Please restart client application” on many screens. We have Dedicated session timeout is 5400, Ideal time parameter of Oracle profile is set to unlimited. Also netscalar timeout is set to 10 Min. Does anyone came across same issue or help us to identify the issue where else we can check for this timeout parameter apart from above mentioned. Thanks in Advance
