We are currently running IEE on Apps10. Recently an account rep for Java reached out to us to ensure we are compliant with Java’s new licensing requirements. I found a document from late 2018 explaining the change and that using Java to run the MWS would still be in compliance (see attached). I’ve honestly never put any thought into it. When researching the version of Java we have on the MWS, I found that it appears IFS uses two different Java executables (with different versions). One in the path \{instance}\java\jre\bin and the other being \{instance}\mw_home\java\bin. It is a Windows Server and both instances are running in the task manager. It seems as if we are in compliance with one of these Java instances, but the other might require a paid license. It’s possible this server has had Java updated unintentionally, so maybe that’s the reason for this? Or is there a way to know if IFS sent it this way?We have a call scheduled to discuss with Java, but I’d like to find out as mu

Hi,Our customers are using TLS 1.2. I would like to know if "IFS APPS 10" is suitable for TLS 1.3. I can see from the following posts on IFS Community that TLS 1.3 seems to be the standard for IFS Cloud.https://community.ifs.com/framework-experience-infrastructure-cloud-integration-dev-tools-50/tls-1-3-downgrade-to-tls-1-2-for-boomi-connection-to-ifs-cloud-15735 Someone has even made TLS 1.3 work with Apps9.https://community.ifs.com/framework-and-experience-101/what-versions-of-tls-does-ifs-support-2142 But I don't see any info for "IFS APPS 10". Best regards, Romain
Hi, we are trying to install IFS Cloud as a remote deployment option. We have 2 servers Ubuntu 20.04 and Windows Server 2019. The Windows server has a oracle database installed with a dump from customer’s APPS8 environment, and all the artifacts downloaded from Lifecycle experience. When running the main.ps1 script, we are running into some connection errors for the Ubuntu server:If we leave the ManagementServerIP in main_config.json empty, the main.ps1 returns following errors during execution: Error: Kubernetes cluster unreachable: Get "https://<server_ip>:16443/version?timeout=32s": dial tcp <server_ip>:16443: connectex: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. If we give the Windows Server IP in the main_config.json, the main.ps1 execution finished without error, but afterwards all kubectl commands return the following error (
