Hello, I am trying to add a manual project connection to a customer order line for a non-inv sales part (status of CO is planned) but get the following error message (on IFS App10)The customer order was created from the intercompany workflow (from a PO sent through MHS) - the supply code on line is “non inventory” and when trying to change for “project” supply code, following error message appears End goal is to be able to connect my project and activity to customer order line, to proceed with the bookings of customer invoice which are supposed to rely on preposting values If you have an idea on the reason behind this issue, please share your views :) ThanksTanya

Hi,We’ve been using Automatic Account matching for some of our Ledger accounts and periodization accounts. For example account 1700 - Prepayment and accrued income.If I have an account, where the transactions are not related to AR or AP and I want to match by site and/or counterpart or any other code part, would it be possible? Is there a way to decide which matching parameters should apply for a given account? Set tolerance and so on.
Hello, what’s the difference between the two modules Cash Flow Analysis vs. Cash Planning?My current understanding is that Cash Planning was introduced in IFS Cloud 21R1 and has the same functionalities then Cash Flow Analysis and is now (22R1) even better/improved. So, what’s the point in even using Cash Flow Analysis in IFS Cloud? Or in other words why do both still exist? Is it planned to remove Cash Flow Analysis ? ThanksAlex

Good Morning, We are currently reviewing our posting controls in Apps 10 EE and have found a situation we are questioning. We require pre-posting on PO’s not tied to an inventory part and a Work Order. While reviewing the posting controls called Pre-Accounting, we have noticed they have never been triggered. First question - should they be?Second question - If we remove the posting controls, would it cause errors in the posting analysis? Thanks
Through elimination rules, IFS can automatically eliminate AP & AR. Is there an automatic way to eliminate the profit from unsold stock? Any improvements introduced in Cloud?Example: Subsidiary A sells a stock worth of $100 @ $120 (keeping a margin of $20) to subsidiary B. The selling price of the stock in subsidiary B is $150. Company B sells 75% of the stock to 3rd party (150*.75=112.5). How can we eliminate the profit of unsold stock in IFS?
Hi,I am testing the Expense sheet process first time. But i stuck in between. Actually i created an Expense Sheet and processed the payment through Employee payment screen. I am ok with the voucher entry for Expense booking but for payment it is hitting the posting type EP2 and not PP1. Also the payment is not available in the sub ledger (Cash Book) as well. Am i missing with any setup?...Can anyone please help me.Thanks in advance.

Dear Community We have supplier who have multiple VAT on their invoice, for example ingredients will be 0% VAT but delivery charge or an item will be 20%.How do we process these invoices via posting proposal as once its created via Prelimiary invoice you cannot amend the VAT amount and the only way we know is going to Manual supplier invoice and processing this.Is there better way of dealing with kind of invoices. Currently, it is only possible to define a single email address for all supplier and customer emails - statements, invoices, payment advices (remittances), CIS deduction statements, orders etc. However, in reality this varies on a supplier/customer basis and very often multiple email addresses are used for a single type of document.It is possible to define this through configurations, but this is done in all implementations and all new prospects ask for this. Hence, more flexibility should be allowed in the Comm Method tabs or in report rules to select multiple types of comm method lines. It is very typical for different customers and suppliers have different setup requirements. E.g. for some suppliers/customers, the statements will be sent to a single email address, but for others it will go to multiple email addresses. I created an instant invoice with this tax code and was expecting the posting to use the transaction code IP9 and IP10 to record the calculated tax but tax was posted using the IP4 ; has anyone met this issue and do you know how to post to IP9 and IP10 directly ? Couldn’t find any corresponding settings in window “Currency”. Does anyone know how to not invert this currency? Hi,I am trying to create a new company which will be the master company for consolidation. It it not allowing me to enable accounts for Currency Balance, the option is disabled. The customer would like to use Currency Revaluation, as per my understanding Accounts should be enabled for Currency balance to use currency revaluation. Hi, I experience an issue with the Sub Project Completion functionality. Maybe I am misunderstanding it or I am missing some settings, but I hope someone can help me clarify. So this is the scenario: We use periodical capitalization for the revenue recognition of our projects. The Project Type = Capitalize Rev/Exp and the method = POC Income First. Sometimes we carry out a preliminary assignment before we start the ‘main’ assignment. The cost and revenue of the preliminary assignment are registered in a separate Sub Project. When the preliminary assignment is completed we want to capitalize all the cost and revenue in the separate Sub Project. After that is completed, we close and complete the Sub Project with the functionality Sub Project Completion. So far so good… After a while the main assignment starts, and new costs and revenue are registered on the project. After the month is finished, we run the periodical capitalization of the project and here is the issue. What I expect i
