Hi, I have created a workflow to call an action in a custom projection. The requirement is to invoke the workflow when Payment Advice report is generated. I have created an event action for the PDF_REPORT_CREATED event (with the REPORT_ID condition) and attached the above workflow to it. When the report is printed, it is not invoked. I have connected the workflow with a custom event (set to be executed on Customer Name change) and a projection action (Finish command in Order Report Assistant) for testing purposes, and in both scenarios, the workflow invoked without issues and the DB procedure executed. I also removed the condition I placed on PDF_REPORT_CREATED for REPORT_ID, but the workflow was still not working. I can’t think of a reason why the same workflow worked for a custom event but not for the application-defined PDF_REPORT_CREATED event, since all events ultimately should be registered as Oracle triggers. When trying to create an IAL that is not “Create IAL for live data only” it still creates the IAL as Live data only. IFS Cloud 22R2.9.Has anyone else seen this or have any ideas?I need to create some scheduled IALs for large views to use in queries, and using live data is far too slow.Example: Creating a new IAL with the option for live data only disabled: The IAL is created without any error but it is only for Live data and cannot be scheduled: And no option to Update Now or Schedule the refresh from the IAL details screen either: But I can see in the database that the table needed to store the data has been created in the IAL_OWNER schema:
Hi Everyone,We are interested in surfacing a customer invoice in an external solution similar to this question: We want to do something similar to the “Reprint Original From Archive”, but we are not sure how IFS determines which item from the archive to use for this? Overall, I have a lot of the solution figured out however I’m not sure how we can properly identify the item within the Report Archive? To get to the PDF we need the ResultKey and the Id from within the ArchiveDocumentSet. I can filter the call to ReportArchive.svc/ArchiveDocumentSet based on what is in the Notes property, But this can result in multiple items if the report has been printed multiple times and feels a little bit like guess work. Is there a better way to determine the correct item within the ArchiveDocumentSet? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi All,We are trying to upload the credit card transactions using External file upload. As of now the credit card statement does not have the credit card number and only the name. In order to overcome this, we have entered a IF_ELSE conditions for the system to pick up the card number according to the name.With the current setup the system is accepting uploading of transactions when there is only one condition for CARD_NO We need to have multiple number of conditions for the CARD_NO field to accommodate to include all the cardholder’s names and numbers. This is required since the credit card statement will be common one for all the company credit card owners. A Sample of how the conditions will look like is below. When there is more than one condition IF_ELSE condition the system is not accepting the transactions from external file upload even the one which it accepted before. Hi all, me and my Team are coming from Alliance 15 and currently working on the Field Service Management (FSM) Part of IFS Cloud, but I think this can be seen as general Data Logic or Mapping Question. I’m having troubles to find the correct references to match an entity to another. This actually holding me back on API’s and also in the Query Designer joining e.g. SrvRequest with JtTask. Is there any guide or documentation describing the Data-Structure and/or References, something were I can get the idea of how entities are working together? Thanks,Michael
Salute, I was working a couple of years with IFS 75 and IFS 10. For failure investigations, Quick Reports, custom attributres, I used to using the SQL Developer. I’m not bad to handle it.Also, to combine it with the debug console, to find the right API and find the function or process. Now the BUTSince November, I work as an IFS Consult for Arcwide. To use my known approach is not more possible.I have installed SQL Developer and am using it to build my scripts. Without access to a database. The buityfier supports me as it only does it nicely if the syntax is correct.I test the scripts in the quick report and than I copy it and adapt it in the customer attribute. Sounds complicated, it is complicated.Today, I got the course Query Designer. Brilliant. MY QUESTION:Is there a tool lilke Query Designer from IFS to support my work.With API Explorer, I have my problems to find the right information. Working in earlier with IFS Developer Studio using Marble, I do remember that I could get hints and guidance when writing code. For example, if a added an attribute to projection entity, I could easily see (by a tool tip or something alike) which settings/preferences I could use for that object. Like a reference documentation in the editor.Is this still possbile to switch on? What do I miss in my setup?/Fredrik

HiI created a very simple IAL (Apps 9 SP11) with the following SQL...select * FROM DBA_SCHEDULER_JOBSThis view is SYS owned and is set as a public synonym. The view has been granted privs to SELECT to IFSINFO. The IAL is named MT_SYS_DBA_JOBSWhen I execute the following SQL from SQL Developer all is well…select * from IFSINFO.MT_SYS_DBA_JOBSYet, when I execute from a Quick Report or the SQL Query Tool I get this error…Cannot convert JDBC type -101 to PlsqlType Any ideas?
Has anyone built a mod to lengthen an out-of-the-box field in Apps 9? The field currently supports 11 characters, and I’d like to stretch that out to 12. Besides altering the Oracle column and updating the metadata in the many column comments and application tables, does the IEE .NET client hold this kind of metadata hard-coded? Is it hard-coded anywhere in the Java middleware?

FND_EVENT_ACTION_API.ACTION_EXECUTEONLINESQLI tried using this and it keeps giving me an error saying SQL is not a valid reference. Is there documentation regarding the formatting of it’s parameters? I also would like to know what the purpose of this other database task is FND_WORKFLOW_CONNECTION_API.START_WORKFLOW and how I can properly call it.
