Hi, To import a CSV from FTPS , we would like to use IFS Connect. And from my understanding, the flow will be:IFS Connect – FTP Reader FTPS IFS Connect – Routing Rules , Routing Address In Routing Address – we need develop an transform (in Java or xlst) , convert CSV to IFS XML Then, to read that IFS XML and insert into DB, we need develop a BizAPIIs the understanding correct? And how people do this in Real Project? Also, with IFS Cloud, since we are discarding BizAPI, then how we implement the actual logic to insert data to DB.
Am not so familiar with the customer credit invoicing in IFS and am wondering how I can part credit a customer invoice? Is that possible or do I need to credit the full value of the invoice and then re-issue a new invoice for the correct amount? We have scenarios when customers can accept a full delivery or choose to return part of the order, and we need to create credit invoices for just the part returned. Thanks for help in advance
When we use the option to run a ‘customer statement of account’ to run monthly statements the IFS standard layout is used. Is there any way to make sure the alternate layout we designed from crystal is picked up rather than the IFS standard. Perhaps I can set this as a report rule? - am not quite understanding the logic I need to enter in the ‘actions’ ordinal to pick up the email from the customer comm method OR payment customer contact field. Help appreciated!
We have a customised layout for the customer statements which displays the discount if they pay by X date. Its being quite difficult to manage, as the discount calculation appears to be out! Question is, does IFS have some standard functionality I can take advantage of instead?? Thanks
