Hi team,I have equipment whose status is out of operation. However, work orders are still generated using PM action.I would like to know how to stop generating WOs for PM Action when the equipment object status is Out-Of-Operation. Is this functionality possible in a standard system?
I see the copy rows functionality in three different databases, but when I copy I don’t see the paste to be able to use it. I thought maybe it was a projection not set but I don’t see that in all three db’s. Any ideas?

Has anyone seen Resource Groups not showing up when creating additional work in the Service Tech Portal?“The permission sets are completed in Aurena Tech Portal. I was trying to test creating new work and ran into an issue (see below). The Resource Group drop-down doesn’t have anything for me to choose from so I cannot Create New Work. Do you know why there isn’t anything in the drop-down? I would like to move forward with the Workshop – of course it could be something I’m not aware of that should be done.”
Hi, I have a case from a customer whereby the PMs scheduled for a weekend are getting missed completely. The customer has monthly PMs and if a PM gets scheduled on a weekend, the system does not prepone or postone it. It skips it completely. Any idea if this is a bug or we have a setting somewhere to handle it Nitin
Dear Experts As I need to use Configuration Part for do rental but system not allow to do like that. So I use dummy part instead by issue Configuration Part and receive dummy part with same cost as Configuration Part and change it to be Company Rental Asset for doing rental. However, if someone has better solution please share me.
We have two scenario’s where we cannot ‘issue’ a material line on work order. The WO Task and the Material status are both released and if I create a new Material order for the same item, task and site, I can release and issue the newly created Material order. Hoping someone might have come across this already and can help. ThanksShelley
Hello, I am trying to delete an Object ID in the Equipment Object Navigator, but to do that I need to delete the PMs associated with the Object ID. I created a few to test some things and now need to delete them. I cannot delete the Work Order or Pm Actions because it is used in Pm Action Calendar Plan. I also cannot edit the calendar because said Pm Actions are Obsolete. They should not have any Time ($$$) associated with them, so why can’t I delete them?
Good Afternoon,Our Warehouse Department has asked if there is a process within IFS where we can set up procedure relating to Stock Management and Movement Control. I have noticed within IFS there are the following functionalities: However I am unfamiliar with their use and what they can offer? Basically we require a system to ‘Track & Trace’ as and when equipment is issued on a temporary basis from our Warehouse to our sub departments. I notice above there may be a Bar code option ?Can anyone advise if there is a user guide reference or if any readers have used a similar process. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hello All, I have setup and configured condition based PM Actions for my assets. However, I am still required to run the Condition Generation background job on a regular basis for my PMs to be created.I have been looking in the system to find a way to schedule this to simply run as a database task/scheduled job, but I have not found a way to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
In IFS Apps 8, is it possible to create a PM elimination when both events are calendar based? We have a PM trigger every 3 months for a minor vehicle service. We also have an annual major service once a year so don’t want the minor vehicle service to trigger at the point the annual major service is triggered.Thanks in advance for any assistance with this.
Is the single page report in work order included in Apps 10 release 8 or later? I am tasked with evaluating our modifications for uplift to Apps 10 when we upgrade next year. We have a couple of custom fields (created by IFS) in our Single Page Report Work Order in Apps 9. I do not see a comparable report in Apps 10 but I need to confirm.
