In our setup, we have 12 difference Sites (split per country) currently if I transfer to mobile and check “Pool Work Order” it goes out to all our engineers globally. And I don’t want someone in Americas to fly to Europe to do a service where we have an engineer within 1 hour drive.Is there a way we can split this up, so it only goes out to the engineers connected to XX site? And not out to all of them? Thank you,Michael
We are using IFS 9.Some of the sync tables for MWO use a combination of user/installed app/device as a unique identifier for sync transactions/data. We wanted to understand what happens if the following information changes before the transactions/data are synced …The user’s install app version changes The user’s device is disabled and a new active device is createdExampleA user has failed transactions, out messages, and push queue records associated with app version 3.17 and device 123. These transactions/messages have not synced yet.The active MWO app version changes from 3.17 to 3.18 The user device 123 is disabled. Device 456 is created and is the only “active” device for the user.What happens to the transactions/data and out messages associated with app ver 3.17 and device 123? Will they still sync?
Hello,Our company rents and sells modular workspaces. When we rent a module and it returns from a costumer, we use the IFS MWO to open a work order on arrival, and we use the e-forms option to answer a quick survey that reports the module situation to other departments. We are constantly having trouble to create work orders on IFS MWO. As work orders are closed throught IFS application, they would not communicate with IEE, and would be lost between platforms. Recently we had a major problem when several objects were reported through the application but only a few of them were transfered to IEE.I’ve checked on background tasks for any information about the transactions, but no error was found.On Failed Transactions I found that it didn’t went throug becaust it was deleted due to initialization.Can someone help me figuring out what went wrong and how to solve it?Thank you!
Hey,Is there any way of limiting what data is visible in MWO Service 10. For example, we have a long list of Work Types but only a small selection are applicable to the Engineers on MWO Service 10 so would like to ‘hide’ the other work types to ensure they are not incorrectly used. Thanks,
Hi,I have a question regarding attachments panel in mWO. Maybe someone had the same issue and knows the solution.I can see 3 icons in Documents section in mWO attachments. You can see gallery, documents and camera. My colleague can see only 2 icons. We are logged in as the same ifsapp user. We tried also on another user (called mobile1) but there is the same issue. On my iPad there are 3 icons, on his only 2. Also on my colleague’s Android phone there are only 2 icons, so it seems like it’s not device dependent.We checked steps mention in thread MWO Attachment icon not visible | IFS Communitybut in db viewer there are grants.Clearing cache in mWO doesn’t change anything. What can be the reason, why one person cannot see document icon? From application point of view, we are logged in as the same user.. Best regards,Hubert
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has set up the Trip Tracker app for a Cloud client yet. From the training documents it appears to be a simple connection but when we tried to add a Trip using the app we get a error, “An error has occurred. TripHeader has not been granted the create/update permissions needed to proceed. Please grant them from Aurena.” We believe we have granted all of the permissions necessary but it appears we are missing one. Also we are not able to see any expense reports that have been added in IFS in the app. Can someone please provide a list of permissions and background data that is needed for the TripTracker app to work? Client 2 has the same error on other devices.Why am I getting this error? what licenses can it be?
I’m pretty certain I didn’t miss any steps in the set up and the documentation says the equipment objects for the sites the user has access to should just show up but they’re not. I even logged in to the NA Pre-sales demo environment to see if it was working in there and it is not. I know we’ve taken away the old page that let us configure what equipment objects the MWO users saw but is there something I’m missing here. This is a problem and hopefully just something not set up that wasn’t documented.
I have the lastest MWO app (28 oct 2021) and use it with IFS Cloud 21R1.I can make calls and hear the ringing sound on the mobile device but I cannot hear the person in the backoffice. The other way round, the person in the office can hear the mobile engineer.Is this expected behavior or should there be sound (which I expect when I look at the Cimcorp demo video).Does anyone have any suggestions besides checking if all volume controls are on ;-)
Hello community: We are currently on IFS Apps 9.We recently installed TAS 184.108.40.2062 and rolled out IFS Time Tracker 9 2.1.9 iOS app for our field technicians.Currently we are getting ready for IFS 10 upgrade. It looks like there is a Time Tracker 10 iOS version for IFS 10.Once we complete the transition, would the Time Tracker 10 iOS work without any issue with IFS 10? Do we have to get a new TAS or can we continue to use the existing TAS?
Hi,A company has a site (101) located in Sweden and the application server timezone is also in Sweden. Now if a technician from that site 101 needs to travel to another country to work on a work task (like Sri Lanka), when they report an expense and use the current mobile time in Sri Lanka which is 4 and half hours ahead, you will get a failed transaction that the transaction time cannot be a future date.We cannot set the time offset for that site as there are employees working in that site. One solution is to not change the timezone of your mobile device, however are there other solutions functionally that someone can take to avoid this problem? Or is keeping the timezone on your mobile device the same as Sweden’s timezone the only option here?Another example would be if there is a site located in the U.S and they travel to other states for their work tasks which have different timezones. They will face this issue as well. Appreciate any help I can get.

Hallo, I need some help with mWO objects. I have approximately 8 000 objects serviced by 50 technician. So I want to divide the objects into smaller parts (like service regions) & and have individual access to them. I disable property SuncAllObject on TAS. I (even) disconnect group push user (IFSSERVICEENGAPP) from the site. Doesn’t work. Every mobile user can see all the objects. What else I should do ? Any idea, please ?
