What’s the best way for our users to get technical support when they run into errors using Community? One of our customers is experiencing the following issue:When they initially go to the community.ifs.com url, and other times when navigating through, they are presented with the following error on the page‘DI\DependencyExceptionCircular dependency detected while trying to resolve entry ‘CommunityVisibility’.
Create "Categories" of answers – "Answer" / "Additional Question" / "Escalation" / "Summarization" / "Internal info" /...Give me possibility to mark "Not answer" to make me not accidentally mark something as "Best answer" Add possibility to response on concrete post - eg. thanks or addition info, answer of sub-question but not answer of whole topic/question.
For an example, I need to search all the posts which has the wording ‘ERROR_359’ in IFS Community? This would help me to see situations which has happened around this particular error and see how the community has solved that issue? Today, when I search, I get so many unwanted results and the result count is 1000s. Also, if some tags can be made mandatory like the track etc, at post creation it would be possible to filter the results effectively. (at least in the relevant forums)
I have noticed that IFS10 documentation which was available in https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/ is news removed. As a consequence, the links pointed to IFS10 technical documentation in forum questions are no longer working and forum members won’t have a common documentation to refer.Hope forum moderators will act on this.
Hello there,Is there any way to change community account e-mail? I need this feature but i did not found anywhere at the user settings on community.ifs.com. So can anyone help me otherelse i have to create New account, but wont to do this.Best regards.
Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to enter a code for the application your question is about. It seems that there is no mandatory field for this available in this site. Tags should be our friends. Please either enter the application code and version your question is relevant for. I know, some questions are multi version related. Leave out the version you are working on these questions. So tag your question with IFS (being IFS Applications) or FSM or any other code. If version related, use for example IFS9 or FSM6.2 Thanks, Steve
Hello, is there anywhere specific to provide general improvement suggestion feedback about IFS? I’m talking about things that aren’t bugs per se and don’t really count as support cases but rather suggestions that could make IFS better - a suggestion box.
Every time I log into IFS Community my password is not accepted.. I am able to reset it, by following the reset password link. The problem is when i come back later (short or long period of time), the password is ‘wrong’ again. This happens EVERY time, and I am positively sure that I enter it correctly. :-(
Some customers using the Human Resource module (especially Time Card functionality) on IFS versions older than Apps9 (i.e. prior to Apps9 Update 14 - typically nearly 20 year customers) have received this error when trying to confirm/authorize time card day records. This impacts payroll, time card authorizations, project costs, etc.

Where is "https://community.ifs.com/news-and-announcements-21/oracle-database-support-changes-impact-for-customers-operating-ifs-apps-9-1109"?
When clicking on the link in the mail about “Important Information / Related to IFS Applications”, regarding “Following Oracle’s update about changes to the support of its database suite, we want to inform you about the implications on your IFS Applications™ implementation”, it fails. The link throws an “You are not authorized to access this page. - This content is restricted to a select group of members. Please contact the community manager to request access” message. After creating an account, it still doesn’t work, so where is: "https://community.ifs.com/news-and-announcements-21/oracle-database-support-changes-impact-for-customers-operating-ifs-apps-9-1109" ?
At this years SAKO the leadership team challenged us to think of ways to improve the IFS Community. My immediate thought is there an App for the Community? It would be allowed me to access content in the community quickly from my phone and also notify me of updates to things I have subscribed to or posted/liked. Hopefully allowing people to contribute and interact as they do on Social Media platforms. I would welcome any thoughts on the topic.
