Is there a way to export our modelling ARP files via REST api or other way outside of clicking Export on the modelling dataset in the UI.
Hello Team, we need to do one modification inside the PSO, Division column need to be removed from Teams menu inside the PSO. As you can see the highlighted view in below screen shot. Please let me know the steps if we can remove the division column inside the PSO. it will be helpful. Thanks,Shalu
Hi,Here is my travel cost model configuration. I am trying to achieve a scenario where the DSE will schedule as follows:On an empty shift, activities can be scheduled within a hour hour radius from start location - therefore offering a wider range for where activities can be scheduled.Where a pre-existing activity exists on a shift, limit travel to 1 hour from that activity to the one being scheduled.Should the configuration I have in place achieve the above? No max shift travel is required.thanks.
Hi all, Can a manual commitment over ride the prerequisite demand of a job ?FSM has sent the prereq over OK:7275 should be scheduled before 7274, but PSO has scheduled them the other way round, I notice in FSM that these have been committed by a user rather than the system. Would this over ride the prereq set on the job ? Task 7274’s SLA doesn’t start until the day after, so the system would not have been able to schedule it. (plus it’s out of shift when committed). Thanks for any help
Hi!When using the “Additional Attributes” in FSM6, there is currently a limitation in regards to the data-type being sent to PSO.As of now it is possible to send columns from the tables which has a datatype of DateTime, but this is not sent to PSO (which does not “understand” the datatype DateTime) and datatype field is omitted when the xml towards PSO is created. Is there a way to override this, other than changing it in metadata (which also would make this an issue when viewing the field on a screen/changing it/performing logic(BR/Scripts etc))?Baseline datetime field request_dttm is sent as marked up in the image, baseline : Since there are datatypes selectable on fields in FSM, would it not be beneficial to also be able to choose the datatype to be sent to PSO when creating an Additional Attribute? At least have it default to “STRING” when parsing the xml…
Hi,We are currently using FSM6U13, and integration with PSO.At the moment, we are experiencing some slowness issues with the dataset. We have only one dataset at the moment, with approx. 500 resources, and approx. 10000 tasks at the moment. When loading the dataset in the Gantt-view, it may take up to 1 minute before it has finished loading.Furthermore, when loading the resource screen, it takes forever before the screen is loaded. The last issue is when updating the Rota, and another user is updating the rota at the same time, all the changes made has been deleted. This screen is also not very responsive. So, the question is really, is it best practice for us to have only one dataset, or should it be more beneficial to have several datasets? I read in the Community that you shouldn’t have too many datasets, so I am wondering if that may not be the best solution for us.When we ran the same operations in FSM5.7, there were no slowness issues like this in PSO.
Hi,Historically we have had FSM and PSO and all data initialised into PSO each day for scheduling.FSM has always been the master for the data in terms of Rosters, Shifts, Resources, Calendar Exceptions etc.Our Resource Planning Team work 100% in FSM. This does give us some restrictions. I started to look at ARP in PSO (early 2020) and could see straight-away this would give us some massive benefits to how we operate and manage resources. Unfortunately some pandemic came along and objectives / priorities were changed. However this is something I want to revisit. I am therefore asking the community if any customers have made the jump from FSM nightly 'INITs' to ARP for managing resources? If so is there anything that can be shared in terms of steps to setting up ARP.Things like migrating current work calendar's and rosters reducing set-up time for cutover. How to manage updates in ARP i.e. calendar exceptions, shift data, and feed that back into FSM. We have our dispatch teams working sole
Afternoon,We are looking at options around flexible working for our engineers, and need to understand the art of the possible. Currently PSO/360 takes into account holidays and doesn’t allocate work orders in this scenario but we are wondering whether TOIL could work in the same way? Idea being that employees could accrue TOIL and then with management approval use that to work a shorter day or have a day off.We are currently on IFS Apps 8 and version 5.8.2.22 of 360/PSO.Any experience others have or suggestions would be appreciated RegardsShaun
I was wondering if anyone in this community is informed about the IFS vision for the roadmap regarding the old Silverlight interface of PSO? My best guess is that it will completly disappear, because Microsoft no longer supports Silverlight. If thats the case, then I wonder what will happen with the Automatic Planning feature which the Silverlight client has but the new UI does not have. At least not yet. Is it also coming to the new UI of PSO?The features ‘Rules’ and ‘Rule Collections’ are allready available in the new UI, which were constraints for the Automatic Planning feature. However in the last Relase Enhancements document, it is said that for example the 'Requirements’ feature will not be implemented in the new UI, which could also be defined as contraints for the Automatic Planning feature. So this suggest that Automatic Planning might not come back to the new UI. Is that the case? The Automatic Planning feature looks quit valuable for the overal solution. Also I actually do no
