Hi, We have a customer upgrading from an IFS APPS10 implementation to IFS Cloud. There are currently using IFS Apps10 Aurena, but only for limited functionality like time registration. Is there a way/tool to transform the permission sets created in APPS10 IEE to IFS Cloud, projection based permission sets? Are there any innovative ways that you are currently using? Also any best practices to follow in such an upgrade of permission sets would be appreciated, so that we prepare the permission sets in APPS10 so that it is easier to upgrade. I have created an IAL to pull HR data and set up a schedule update. When I run the IAL it returns over 3000 records however, when the schedule update runs, it returns 65 records. I noticed that the IAL scheduled update background job runs under the App Owner user ID which does not have the same HR access as I do. Question: Can schedule IAL Updates be configured to run under specific user ids instead of app owner? If not, any Ideas on work around for this issue other than giving app owner HR access?
Hi All, I am looking to setup an alert to notify a member of our planning team when the on hand inventory of a part drops to zero. My thought was to setup an event action, but I believe I would then need to configure multiple event actions for each part. Is there a way to setup the event or another feature in IFS that could be used to notify someone in the event the on hand inventory level is zero? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.,
Using IFSapp10 UPD9 with IFS freight Interface. we have the need to consolidate shipments for a customer. I am able to add shipments to a consolidated shipment but that seems to be the end of the functionality. I want one pack list and one deliver id for the consolidated shipment so I can process through one of the supported freight interfaces. Can this be done? If so, examples would be great.
Hi everyone. This is in regards to IFS 9. Right now when I have been applying deliveries or performing reconfigurations on IFS instances, whenever there is an error that results in the IFS instance becoming unusable I have been taking a snapshot of the server the instance is running on before hand and then rolling back to that state. I’m noticing some issues when I do it like this however:Sometimes this causes an issue where wls diagnostic files keep being generated and not deleted. This causes all the space on the drive to be filled and the instance eventually stops working until all the diagnostic files are deleted and the as server is stopped and restarted. Reconfigurations no longer work properly. When I perform a reconfiguration it has errors. The instance still works afterwards, but the node managers no longer seem to function properly. As mentioned above, the node managers stop working properly. For example, running the administration script “stop_http_server” or “start_http_ser

Hello. I think this is a simple question.We are testing implementing EDI Customer orders. For an inbound customer order (EDI850) how is the ship-to location for a customer that has many ship to locations specified in the XML? Today, in our current system, our ship- to locations are coded by an alphanumeric designation Specifically where in the XML should we specify the customers ship to code so that in IFS the correct shipping address is on the order? Until this time all was ok, after that I have added another attribute to the Custom LU however I could not see the new attribute on my page that added to Part Master Data.How can I see the new attribute on the page? In the setup that we currently have, the employee enters/confirms working hours per day/week. Manager authorizes the hours. At frequent interval, the hours are transferred to another (3rd party) application. There the hours (and especially the used codes) are checked. All nice if every day follows the happy flow.It is different for those hours that are booked against wrong codes (or too much or incorrect overtime, etc). In that situation, the hours (days) in IFS Time Card/Registration can not be changed anymore.I find this logical, but what would be the next step to make a change?

We user Active Directory with a Windows domain that is older than 2016, so OpenID Connect isn’t available to us natively yet. If we don’t upgrade our domain before we upgrade to IFS Cloud, is it still possible to use AD to authenticate our users? Is there a third party tool that we can use to relay requests to expose our LDAP endpoint as the OpenID Connect protocol? Hi all, I am in the process of transitioning a customers orders and invoices to EDI. I am trying to populate the customers ‘Customers Own Address ID” field. The customer has 10 sites and have provided their ‘location codes’ that we need to use in the EDI submissions when we invoice them. Their sites are simply numbered 1-10.Most of the sites allow me to add the appropriate site number in but a couple of them (1 and 5) give the following error when I try to save the record: This customers own address id already exists on another address for this customer or another customer I have checked through each site for the customer and none of the other sites have the Customers Own Address ID set to 1 or 5 (they all have their own numbers of course) so looking at the error, I am reading it as if ANY other customer has this field set to 1 or 5 then I cannot use these values. Surely this can’t be right? Is it really saying that the value in this field must be unique throughout all our customers de

Hi All, What is the easiest way to get ‘additional info’ from the Customer Order to other departments - for example to Shop Orders or to Shipments. The info we are talking about are small remarks from the customer that need to be taken into account when producing or shipping the goods. For example: “Pack in boxes no larger than 50x50x50”. Or: “Truck needs to be loaded from the side”, or “do not use plastic when shipping” - “Courier needs to call delivery contact at least 1h before arrival”. Hi All,I tried sending an email through a custom event. But when the custom event is triggered the mail is not sent for any of the relevant users. The event action has the following setup Setup IFS Connectivity has the following. And when I check in the Application Messages it is showed that the event is triggered with all the relevant data related to the event.
